On the MJ subject-- it's tough to hear in the music video, but when they perform it live you can hear that the backing track stacks a male voice in during the "dangerous" chorus. It's not Michael, but it seems like an intentional nod to him.
Turning on the captions will definitely help you! If it just says, "English" then it's fine but if it says, "English (auto-generated)" then it's bad because that's just the terrible AI trying to make the subtitles from what it hears in the video and it barely works well. However, XG always upload their music videos with proper/professional subtitles. There is very little XG content that isn't properly subbed. This goes for most K-pop or Asian Pop videos nowadays btw! Most of them are posted with proper subtitles now. Also, the documentary is free on their UA-cam channel and other youtubers have uploaded it without issues but that's not me pressuring you to stream it or anything. I do think it'd be good to watch just to see how hard these girls worked to be here today.
