Tagträumer - Sinn (COVER)

Es ist mal wieder Zeit für ein deutschsprachiges Lied!
Dieser Titel stammt im Original von der österreichischen Band "Tagträumer". 2014 wurde ich darauf aufmerksam, als die Band damit ihren Durchbruch schaffte und überregional sehr häufig im Radio gespielt wurde.
Der Text ist ausdrucksstark und rhythmisch/reimtechnisch modern konzipiert - was der ausschlaggebende Grund für diese Coverversion war. Täuscht sogar fast darüber hinweg, dass es eigentlich nur ein Four-Chord-Song ist...
Dennoch hab ich mich letzte Woche ans Klavier gesetzt und einfach mal aufgenommen. Atemtechnisch ist "Sinn" eine wahre Tortur, wenn man versucht es in einem Stück durchzusingen, denn anscheinend sind im Textfluss keine Pausen eingeplant worden. ;) Das Original ist overdubbed.
Das wollte ich mir dann aber doch nicht antun.
Hier also der beste der drei Takes in einem Stück mit zwei Kameras im Raum (und 4 Mikrofonen). Als Interface dient ein Zoom H6.

As you might have realized, this new song features a German songtext.
The original was composed by the Austrian band "Tagträumer" (Daydreamer). It caught my attention while listening to the radio. In 2014 the band had their breakthrough, the song was played quite often.
The lyrics are strong and have this contemporary rhythmic style, which seems to be common in modern pop culture these days. This inspired me to do a cover version.
Singing the lyrics however was a tricky thing to do though, because the composers obviously didn't intend any text breaks so one could breath once in a while ;)
Anyway, you can watch what came of it above. It's the best out of 3 one-piece-takes.
There are two cameras in the room; along with the three visible mics there is a fourth one for ambience. Interface: Zoom H6
