Another thing that doesn't make sense is that liberalism sometimes conflicts with the traditional mindset. But because left has the concept of accepting all and because of the extreme right, brown people are sort of made to vote left. Yes I got hurt and at first I didn’t like it, but after getting through the pain, I can say that it was worth it.
This is pretty accurate.. a lot of my friends lean hard left and I realised I didn't agree with a lot of the things they posted and it had a negative impact on my life, so I want to leave that school of thought and follow my own voice, and see nuanced opinions on topics, not only what the woke crowd says.
I think what is considered the left in today's world is actually closer to neoliberal values as an ideology because I'm a Left Wing Libertarian (yes the original Libertarian groups were left wing not right wing) and I'm basically someone who is anti censorship because I think discussion is important to have, also I think comedy shouldn't be censored for the majority of the time. I'm also a real kind of supporter of actually introducing a proper democracy with the people voting on laws to pass in the country and the "Prime Minister" is just a diplomat that talks to other countries.

“I enjoy the thrill that someone could get hurt, even if that’s me,” this honestly hit me hard, coming from a school that shared my beliefs to going to one that does not was honestly refreshing and something I honestly believed that I needed. Yes I got hurt and at first I didn’t like it, but after getting through the pain, I can say that it was worth it.
This is pretty accurate.. a lot of my friends lean hard left and I realised I didn't agree with a lot of the things they posted and it had a negative impact on my life, so I want to leave that school of thought and follow my own voice, and see nuanced opinions on topics, not only what the woke crowd says.
I think what is considered the left in today's world is actually closer to neoliberal values as an ideology because I'm a Left Wing Libertarian (yes the original Libertarian groups were left wing not right wing) and I'm basically someone who is anti censorship because I think discussion is important to have, also I think comedy shouldn't be censored for the majority of the time. I'm also a real kind of supporter of actually introducing a proper democracy with the people voting on laws to pass in the country and the "Prime Minister" is just a diplomat that talks to other countries.
Free thinking and speech is under attack, thank you for putting yourself out there, being true to yourself, and expressing your beliefs during a time like this.
I hope you don't face serious serious long lasting backlash.

No, the word you want if you want to cause a Lefty to have a visceral negative reaction is to say "Conservative". That is perhaps the worst insult you can fling at a Lefty because so many on the Left will NOT look any deeper than "This person I trust said X, ergo X is True." - so when that person calls someone else a "Conservative", that makes it automatically True and now that "Conservative" is fair game to be de-personed.
There really isn't another word that does the same thing - it has to be either Conservative or whatever the Conservative Political Party name is (like Republican in the USA) to really get under their skin.
