Totally agree with you that parents have to dig deep into course/career options well in advance. I sat with my son in 9th and 10th std, before entering PU1,2 . We discussed everything from Astrology to Zoology, but he was firm on CSE. It was super useful. Many parents themselves have no idea what their kids will do in life and unwilling to research too :-(
Nice to see you back Prof. One thing about Physics is the amount of gap between 11th/12th Physics and UG physics. I wonder how one can communicate or sensitize the kids about this. I myself experienced this during my UG days (Physics minor)
