I'm gratified that Michael lept to absence of cellphones as a method of dating certain movies and he's mentioned, obliquely, that "Extreme Prejudice" (Great movie!) is from the era that is PRE-CELL-PHONE! In the movie they have a crude video -phone since it's not a secret that the combination of a CRT TV screen and a telephone is an obvious progression... yet it's been far from a story of successful tech causing the ripples that the damned 3,4,5-G...(and ohh shocker! 5-G is a tool of Satan, obviously, and will variously give you cancer, turn you into a COMMUNIST, turn you GAY whether you are gay or not, erase your mind (although if you're still believing these conspiracy theories after this point, I submit that you don't have enough of a mind for the system to lock on to, never mind "ERASE"!!📺🤔🤣🤣😆👍 ❗ Indeed, calling it a mind" is an abuse of the word, and your... processes are so easily manipulated by hysterical (sorry, force of habit, and a desire to avoid a great deal of circumlocution... only to end up with THIS... extendedanceplay version, which, although verbose, is reliable, and I will explain why later!!)) forces of extremism, chaos,and destruction) turn the friggin' frogs GAY! And probably turn everything gay, psychotic, and sterile too! Indeed the 5G cellphone towers are going to take away your GUNS too! Something had to threaten to do that even though it's NOT POSSIBLE until the Constitution is changed... again.. !)... android and i phones have... both for good and ill... had a tremendous impact on the society in the West, in China... especially when they realized that the entire commercial supply of the "Rare Earth" elements, the LANTHANIDES that were ignored for decades except in inorganic chemistry laboratories or by nuclear chemists for the unusual properties that are not present in other elements... existed in their country! So in the future you can look forward to some really nasty hydraulic despotism involving the LANTHANIDES and not the oil! So I am glad to see that Mr.Ironside and I are clearly sympatico! It's probably just a complete coincidence that I have an A. E. van Vogt anthology lying on the table in my sitting room! If you doubt me... I refer you to my earlier assertion that this is a reliable comment about several things, and I am endeavoring to be as accurate as possible, because I have a reputation to protect, and a sense of integrity and honest pursuit of the truth of the matters(s) at hand because I am a scientist not a lawyer and so concepts such as "the truth" actually matter to me!
