Just seen a podcast interview with Courtney. When asked about this interview, she had nothing but great things to say.

For anyone discovering this band for the first time here's a little story about how I stumbled across them playing at the tiny Hideout in Chicago :) I got a notifications that one of my favorite artist TOBACCO was performing at this venue, I wen to go buy tickets only to discover there was a mix up with the box office and it was actually this band Tobacco City. I listened to the two clips they had posted on Bandcamp. Loved it, bought tickets and the rest is history. I've seen them a couple times at that venue, once their opener was a band called Neighbor Lady, I recommend checking out their song Oh Honey, it's a banger. And if you're musically versatile and haven't heard his music already I highly recommend checking out TOBACCO and Black Moth Super Rainbow. Much different electronic analog psychedelic sweat music but it's beautiful just like this if you know what's up ;)
