I think flooding in the Philippines somewhat is very difficult to fix because some areas are just lower and are prone to flooding. Even parts of provinces who are not inhabited floods because of the location. But I do agree also that some lack discipline when it comes to garbage, etc.
I think you should consider longer form videos as well. I enjoy listening and 20 minutes feel way too short. Also enjoy hearing about your life and experience more. On the topic of social media, I have never really engaged with it and only now use UA-cam, I don't have any other socials and never have but people are seeing it as a red flag now. Even possible employers think it's shady that I don't have social media because they think i have something to hide... truth is I am just private and boring haha 😂
A conversation with a topic like this awakens up your interest and molds up your maturity stage in life. We Filipinos easily adopt other cultures but we still hold on to our own culture and tradition that we inherit from our ancestors. We avoid fighting or arguments as much as possible but jezz don't try to provoke our ego 🤭 because we Filipinos know how to depend just to guard our beliefs. Kudos to your team. I agree with the social media part you told Rio, whenever I'm with my close friends i don't even use my phone...my parents literally call my friend to check why i am not picking up the call😅 the hours spent in college are the ones i enjoy the most...since we aren't allowed to use phones except during break time...🙌🏻 spending quality time with friends and family is the best...my parents tho they are always busy and I'm a single child no one to talk to...so i either keep myself busy learning something or talk to my friend on call or text❤️🙌🏻 how about you Rio ? do you like spending quality time away from phone as well ?
When taxes become pocket money for politicians, public drainage systems and other public services are poorly maintained. Potholes are also a clear indicator of that "pocket money" and a major cause of flooding. They're just different symptoms of the same overarching problem. Agreed. There are some great ramen shops in town, but they're not quite there yet when it comes to 100% authenticity. They're pretty tasty, but just not quite there yet.
You should do a podcast with @123Japan! seeing that you both have a huge appreciate for the Philippines. That would be a cool episode to listen to/watch :)
