Grad deinen Channel entdeckt. Klasse Umbauten und toll mal einen Mercedes auf dem Track zu sehen, wird ja normal alles von BMW und Porsche dominiert :D Auch top gefahren, Hut ab!

@@WaveCeptor22 What are your temps now? I was seeing 113 engine oil and 103 gearbox on a very tight and twisty track.
Mine has a hybrid turbo though.

I haven't been able to wear a size 255 tire.
As I thought, size 255 of the W176 A45 is impossible without fender processing.
There was a W176 A45 who approached me from the suspension setting and made me wear size 255, but I heard that the fender needed to be processed.

Top gefahren! Waren in der gleichen Gruppe unterwegs, leider tauche ich am Video nicht auf - aber auf deinem Previewbild fahre ich hinter dir :) ... Habe mir leider schon beim 2. Stint meinen linken Vorderreifen quasi vernichtet, beim nächsten Trackday müssen es auch Cup 2 oder gleichwertige Semis sein. Mich würde interessieren, welchen Topspeed du vor der Ostkurve hattest. Mein Pampersbomber ist ja eigentlich zu schwer für die Rennstrecke, hat sich mit einer Rundenzeit von 1:40,51 aber wacker geschlagen. Vielleicht sieht man sich mal wieder bei einem Trackday!
Vielen Dank! 1:40.5 ist eine Top Zeit! Deswegen siehst du dich auch im Video nicht. Du warst zu schnell :) Meine schnellste Runde an dem Tag lag bei 1:39.7 und laut Harry's LapTimer pendelt meine Topspeed vor der Ostschleife bei knapp 230 bis knapp 240 je nachdem wie gut ich aus der Nockensteinkehre raus komme.
Cup 2 Reifen sind definitiv eine gute Investiton. Da du deinen Wagen warscheinlich auch Daily fährst wäre ein zweiter Radsatz sinnvoll, den man dann kurz vorm Trackday aufs Auto steckt. So kann man für den Alltag normale Sommerreifen fahren. Neben guten Reifen ist aber auch das Fahrwerk wichtig. Auf der Rennstrecke braucht man einfach etwas Sturz damit die Reifen außen nicht zu stark verschleißen.

Mit der Rundenzeit bin ich schon sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte vor der Ostkurve Topspeed 248 (lt. Tacho) drauf, GPS am iPhone zeigt 246. Deine Zeit holst du definitiv in den Kurven. Sturz ist wohl ein ganz großes Thema, hier muss ich wirklich was unternehmen. Ohne neue Schwenklager ist bei rd. 1 Grad neg. Sturz Schluss. Da es mein Daily ist, sollte die Fahrbarkeit nicht zu sehr beeinflusst werden. Das Fahrwerk ist aber schon top! Ein zweiter Radsatz mit Cupreifen ist schon in Arbeit, das muss sein! Mal schauen, ob ich mich nach ein paar Modifikationen 2022 wieder überreden lasse… Viel Fahrspaß wünsche ich dir auch weiterhin!

Do you know or have a solution for check engine light coming up when installing a catless exhaust system, great work btw!
Some tuning companys offer ecu reprograming so the check light dont light up.
Überlege mir ein a45 als daily zu holen. Kannst du dieses Auto als daily empfehlen also zur Arbeit fahren und auch manchmal bisschen heizen

Wie schlagen sich auf dieser Strecke deine Bremsen? Hast du die modifiziert oder die Performance Variante ab Werk drauf?
Der Salzburgring geht schon gut aufs Material. Die Bremsen schlagen sich halbwegs in Ordnung. Bremssattel und Bremsscheiben sind aktuell Serie. Aufgerüstet habe ich auf Stahlflexleitungen, Castrol Renn-Bremsflüssigkeit, Pagid RSL29 Bremsbeläge und eine selbstgebaute Bremsenkühlung. Gänzlich zufrieden bin ich nicht. Die Beläge harmonieren mit den Scheiben nicht zu 100%. Ich werde in Zukunft da mal was anderes probieren.

Yes, i had this problem too. I changed my thermostatic valve and updated the engine ecu software to solve the problem.
