You explain perfectly the laying of carpet tile where a person who have never installed carpet tiles before . They can now understand how to DIY this project. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.
Thanks for demonstrating this. It's surprising how many vids tell you to flip the edge tiles over, mark and cut, which I knew was wrong, but I wasn't sure what else to do. I've got it now 🙂
The reason they say to flip the tile upside down is so that you don't cut the pile "at an angle" from the top potentially causing lost pile making the join more obvious.
Good video that's for sharing , I got the same tiles for my shed will they be ok on a shed wooden floor meaning I don't need to put anything underneath thanks
Thanks, I have a small room to do its not perfect 90' angles so a big help. Do you rotate certain tiles, the last floor I had the guy rotated the tiles through 90' or does it depend on a pattern?
in the uk i can only seem to find boring plain carpet tiles, where do i get this type of pattern from, sadly in uk not many do videos on carpet tiles, i been a big fan of them for years, your cutting techniques are a real time saver too!
Great tutorial! If for whatever reason one needed to lay chipboard T&G floorboards without removing the carpet tiles, would they make a decent underlay?
ok i could use your mastery if thats the case/. do I really have to snap center a room if all i care about is the tile looking good at the most important joint the other side of the wall where all the uneven cuts will end up are will be all covered up with furniture
Sorry do you mean put them up the wall and cut them in like a carpet if you do they are to thick and have black pitch in them that would get all over the wall and skirtings
You ever think of just maybe lifting the Inner tile on top of the wall tile and cutting it like Vice versa so you don’t work double and you actually should be running a chalk line filling in the center before doing your cuts. 🇺🇸😉
perfect tiling but horrible nonstop moving video tile lady and videographer thanks for the lesson and the headache lol should be called bobble -head floor tiling
Thanks but the camera was on my head I don't get paid for this so hiring someone to film for me is not a option my new videos I have it on my chest and in the room if I have time on the job I try to get different angles if I can I'm still learning hope you like my future videos
Please, drop the stupid irritating music. People view videos on laying carpet tiles for content. My ears are getting old and to catch all the spoken info I maybe play a little louder. The canned music, that you maybe see as “background”, is just “up front” noise that I must attempt to forcibly ignore and listen through. Believe me, it adds NOTHING and makes video impossible to watch. I could type this response for many channels but I mostly just hit dislike and “stop”.
Hi all the glue I used was tackifier f41 from fball
don't know what is that. you have proper name ? picture ?
Thanks that was easy to google! F. Ball Styccobond F41 Carpet Tile Tackifier

@@greeneyedcat2748 It only works if the edge is perfectly square to the tiles. Otherwise the diagonal runs the wrong way.
Brilliant vid, love your way of scribing to fit. So fast and easy, made my job today really easy.
Thanks mate always Nice to hear I helped someone 👍
Great instructional video, no farting about, and straight to the point, thanks.
A different technique on the cutting and wall finish - really like that idea and will use it on my current project.
no kidding..
i d be measuring like a fool
making a mess o things

Ya good choice I would use a bit of double sided tape to hold them if you get any problems 👍
Super Video just the best!!! Thank you, Alec
Hi, nice video, how about the cuts at the door or a corner wall in or out ? Thanks !!
Thanks, I have a small room to do its not perfect 90' angles so a big help. Do you rotate certain tiles, the last floor I had the guy rotated the tiles through 90' or does it depend on a pattern?
I saw your video about adding carpeting around door frames but can you explain how you know where to cut and how long the cuts should be?
in the uk i can only seem to find boring plain carpet tiles, where do i get this type of pattern from, sadly in uk not many do videos on carpet tiles, i been a big fan of them for years, your cutting techniques are a real time saver too!

@@eggyfits It went very fine. Just one question: do you have a tip for the corners?
Please can you tell me the name or style of this tile. It looks good!
Sex time haggle 444444444

What is the glue you are using
Styccobond F41 Carpet Tile Tackifier 👍
Did you use glue or just put the tiles on the floor directly? Thanks
Did you try using these carpet tiles without any glue ?
amazing
Is there some glue you layed down first?
Yes a tackifier a file that stays sticky just enough to hold them in place and stop them from slipping
It's called f41
what the heck are u filming with a fisheye lense you are making me dizzy

How come you don’t need to use a ruler to measure when cutting irregular areas
Hi because the techniques called back cutting or back marking use the one underneath as the CUT
Hi there, I like you video but the camara on your head to be moving to much. I´m Alejandro Garcia from Guayaquil, Ecuador sudamerica.
I like the music
Has anyone put these carpet tiles down without using any sort of glue ?
Yes it didn't end will it would of worked if they didn't have a gap under the starting so the tiles slipped under and moved all about
Burned a new hole in me tracksuit today smoking soap bar without an ashtray, these would be pretty good for "smokers"
apart from the extremely irritating background music, the video is helpful.
Thanks
i liked the music lol
Tackifier holds them forever if you put them before it drys..
really nice video mate, but it would be much faster to use hook knife for floor boxes, you just put tiles and cut the space for that :) cheers
Sorry do you mean put them up the wall and cut them in like a carpet if you do they are to thick and have black pitch in them that would get all over the wall and skirtings

TAKIFIRE? SPELLING? HOW AND WHERE? IS THERE A VIDEO ABOUT THIS STEP? ANYONE?
It's called f41 and you just poor it out and use a paint roller to spread it out good luck
Was the camera mounted on your head? Could not watch more than a minute of it. Made me nauseous.
Shocking way to do an easy cut
I would of did this cut in less than a minute dead ass
Who do you think you are talking to calling me a dead ass?
Would be a great how video if only there was no annoying background music
I love the music I have a rave every time I edit a video woop woop 👍
Fisheye lens probably not the best way to go lol

I puked after watching two mins.
yeah making me feel quite sick with that fish eye lens, can't watch
Doesn't say how to think about the shape of the room. Very annoying music!
