This version gave me goosebumps (and I'm 75 and they are rare now) just as the original Stones version also did ... so many years ago!
Ten years ago I stumbled onto PFC with their rendition of Gimme Shelter, a rendition that to me topped all others. I still enjoy that video. And here they are, reinterpreting, refreshing, and infusing with yet more soul. Magnificent.

A truly amazing performance & cover of a great song. Watching this, or any PFC musical magic for that matter, makes it hard to fathom that there's a horrific war taking place in Ukraine at the same time. When will we see worldwide peace? When we all sing & play together, it needs to happen.
It's a terrible mess but I see us musicians getting together and creating change through one mind at a time - collectively we can achieve through the power of music and all art forms....life is beautiful, but let's have everyone enjoy it minus the suffering and brutality of others who wish to destroy. They must eliminated! Peace

Initial observation..
I can't believe dude was playing on a Latin Percussion brand djembe. It didn't sound bad, but he must keep his nice drums at home. I on the other hand like to play my nicer guitars if I'm on a big stage...and I've never played a stage that big.
Final impression...I cried. It was a beautiful cover of a legendary song. I'm a big Stones fan.

First of all, I LOVE this band and all the musicians who play in it. I know they were trying for a slower, smoldering version of this song. It just fell a tiny bit short for me. This song usually has snarling guitars that sound like a pair of dueling Harley's. If they brought that signature riff into this version? I'd have loved it.
