- What's going on UA-cam?!?! We're back out on the trap line again.. and this week is all about the canines!!! I caught pretty much every single kind of canine possible that can be caught in SC. lol.. By the end of the week/check we finally lucked up and caught the ACTUAL target I was focused on, which is a coyote. However, what I wasn't expecting.. was that it would be another rare color phase BLONDE coyote!!! This is my 2nd blonde coyote for the season!!!
I did a little searching online in regards to the various color phases of the eastern coyote, and ran across an article that states: "It's believed that past inbreeding between coyotes and gray wolves has resulted in the eastern coyote being generally larger and featuring color phases.. a trait that doesn't exist in the western coyote." Sounds about right to me!!!
More trap checks & catches will be on the way shortly. Stay tuned..

Wonderful job!! Your hard work is paying off 🐐🐐🐐
Great job buddy
Man thats a beautiful yote!
It truly is!!! That's one I probably should have kept. lol.. We sold all of the yotes I caught this season on the live market.
Loving the trap vids!
Thanks man!!! More vids will be on the way shortly. This season has been GREAT. lol
He would definitely make an awesome mount!
I agree!!!
Awesome day man other than the pets should be nowhere near this. Keep keeping on my friend. Be safe
I think you are getting the hang of the coyote and fox trapping
Me too.. learning a little more each season!
Man what a great video!! You're doing great on the canines! Keep up the good work and don't worry about people getting upset. Whether you catch domestic dogs or not. There's a reason they have leash laws..
Thanks man!!! I'm learning a little more with each season. The canines were definitely rolling in for a week or two!
@@bloodsweatandgears87 it's been a slow year for me on the farm in Michigan. Earlier today I heard a pack hunting south of us so who knows, maybe they'll move North tonight
You may already know this but if you grab a fox behind their neck they will go limp. Kinda like a large mouth bass without any fuss.. Promise.. old timers tip of the week.
I've heard the tip.. but haven't tried it just yet!!! lol
Dang that was a purdy coyote
I'm tellin ya!!! BEAUTIFUL yote!!!
Live market is the way to go. Get rid of a nuisance and make a nice hat or coat for someone. You on it bro
I agree.. make a couple dollars and remove a few predators at the same time. It's a Win Win if you're trying to improve the land for deer & turkeys.
I love foxes we had one that would come to the house and my boyfriend would tell her to wait and she’d sit there and wait for the did he’d bring out to her
Sorry but..... folks keep your pets up!
If you find a dead fox in the trap the coyotes have moved in.. They will kill them in the trap.
Not a good idea to set traps where pets could be. My beagles have gotten hurt by foot holds while hunting. You try your best not to let your dog to go onto private land but it does happen. No excuse that it is your own land!
