You can make one for yourself. Use some foam or the similar, chip it to the shape and the thickness you prefer mostly. Try it, then shape it until you feel most comfortable. Wear it for a period and make corrections if needed. Once finding the perfect fit, copy it and many more pieces. My grandma was an uneducated woman born in 1920’. She did it for herself in her entire life (first with clothes, then foam) . It worked. You can also make 3D measurements on your feet then make 3D printed insole which is more expensive. you can make many pieces once too. Since everyone has different feet, these ways fit much better. 😅
Wedges will start to hurt if your really bad.But as you get used to it you will feel less weight on the wedge.But your leg may hurt I took mine out for a while.Will start again tomorrow.Will update in a few months.

I've been throwing away good shoes because of this. I will get inserts to compensate for my supination issue. My shoes do not last very long, because as soon as I start to walk they eat away on the heel of the left shoe, and on the right side of right shoe what can I do. I have to throw away expensive shoes before 6 months. I wish I were near your area. Thank you
I wear outside of heels alot, 200.00 steel toe boots don't last....6 months good then heels are wore out ... Do you have steel toe work boots you recommend or wedged or ideas?
I have supination when running, but I also have flat feet... not sure how that's possible as I thought people with flat feet pronate. What you recommend in my case?
I have the same condition, problem is I only found out in recent years, so most of my life has been with the wrong footsteps, I now started to feel the effects on my body, posture and locomotion. Have you found a solution to your problem?
@@fafi27 I went to a shop that specialised in insoles. They basically took a slow motion video of me jogging on a treadmill and we corrected from there. I thought I had supination, but it turned out I had pronation. I would recommend doing the same thing. Cheers
I'm not a professional on the matter but I've seen people complain of similar things and my theory is that perhaps you have sickled feet and you mistake that for supination.
First get the shoe. Make sure the shoe has lasting board, shank and does not turn. Including strong heel counter. The right shoe, you may not need the wedge.
I wish I had a shoe store here in ny state that will have knowledgeable people like yourself to help costumers with severe foot problems like mine . The pain is unbearable, podiatrist solution was foot realignment . I tried all the insoles out there , nothing helps . Can’t exercise, no walks, no hiking . Shoe manufacturers don’t make anything helpful to this ailments , they’re all garbage with trash insoles that offer no support at all . Very frustrating.

I can tell you that you would appreciate the level of knowledge and information Mr. Bodell is giving if you had foot problems. I overpronate and I have a fallen arch. I’ve learned alot of what he shares by spending a lot of money on orthotics and supportive shoes. Some of that money was wasted on trial and error. That’s how I learned some of what he’s sharing. He’s the real deal. Shoe salesmen in ordinary shoe stores know none of this. Believe me.

Leather is locally produced in Europe. Quality leather from France, Portugal, Italy.

Counter support is the key for supinators. Mephisto offers good strong counters. Preventing rotation in ankle.

Finn Comfort is excellent for supinators. Prevents the torque in ankles. Keeps you align with knee and hip.
Wedges can be applied on lasting board. For extreme supinators, can have correction in midsole.
