The DIY Nintendo Wii U Gaming Coat

- Hi, this video shows a DIY Wii U coat, a wearable Nintendo Wii U with a built in projector. Just for fun I have installed a Wii U and a powerbank into the lining of a winter coat, I have also attached a projector for the big screen experience. I also made a tiny Wii U Pro Controller gamepad powered from the Wii U coat.

The 3ds does not in fact have gba or n64 games.
Either you lied or you misunderstood something, because Super Mario Kart is on the 3ds Virtual Console but thats a SNES game, NOT gba or n64.

Hi guys, it is from Amazon in the UK. It is sold as a small monitor for a car reversing camera :-) Bad points are no audio and a poor quality screen but plus points are cheap as chips (£12) and really lightweight :-)

Combine this with Homebrew/Softmodding and you've got one of the greatest consoles ever. Well done Vince! I won't be making it into a coat any time soon, but your videos have inspired me to make the portable Wii U into a reality!

I had a mate back in school (1980s) who wore a coat like this nearly all year round with a tiny 8bit laptop and various other gadgets as well as assorted provisions for snacking. We all thought he was a bit odd but maybe he was a genius?

You can also use the gamepad as a sensor bar, so no need to carry a wireless sensor bar unless you want to save gamepad battery.
Well, he does have a projector. He would still need it if he wants to play with the projector. The gamepad's sensor bar would be too small.
joemann7971 Not really, you can put the gamepad as close as you need for the wiimote to be picked up. And you can still play off the projector and use the gamepad's sensor bar at the same time.

2:03 You could actually use the game pad as a sensor bar. In wii mode, the black bars around the camera are the same IR sensors that the Wii sensor bar has

hi !! i have a question
so ihave this phonecable coming out from wall at my room which is a phone cable and i plug it on modems back (vdsl) and it sometimes stops working like internet goes off for few seconds or gets so lagy and high ping, my friend told me that the cables inside wall must be damaged, so i wantto get a new cable and make a new line from phone box at outside of door to my room for modem.
so the thing im wondering here is that which cable i should use normal phone cable + rj11 jak or should i use cat6 cable and put rj11 on it instead of rj45, leght of cable will be around 15 meter and few meter of it will be on outside of house cus my room is at second floor and phone box is at below
(i live in forest so we dont have fiber here yet i have 16mbps internet)
so
question 1: cable cat6 make internet faster or isit same with phone cable
question 2 does heat and cold effect these cables ? if so prbly cat 6 better cus its thicker and have more protection to weather
what should i do guys ???

This is the mod amazing coat that I have ever seen. However, with modern Nintendo Switch homebrew, it *is* possible to play many old games.

Hi, it is a cheapo one bought from Amazon for only £12, it is actually a car reversing camera monitor thing. Resolution is bad, no audio but it is tiny and light. I think the res is only 240p but it is insanely cheap :-)

Hey Vince, have you ever heard of a piece of Wii U homebrew called SwapDRC Lite? It allows you to swap the video output of the gamepad and tv screen. Some games like splatoon even have special configurations where pressing an unused button toggles the screen so you miss nothing. Seems like it could be useful to your cause.
Hi there, yes another viewer mentioned it to me on a previous video. I haven't got Homebrew on the Wii U to test it out but I really like the options it gives you with the screen output and 3rd party controllers etc. :-)
