omg... I have just saw an instagram ad with this exact style dress and thought you probbably have a tutorial on how to make it. And now you do🥰 Love your channel so much!!!❤️
You make the most beautiful dresses! Thank you so much for sharing the whole process from making the pattern to sewing the dress. You are very generous!
I just Love Love this dress the second one. I just have to find some stretchy material. I’m madly in love with your style! I’m 61 years. I know some young ladies who want these!!! Thanks Jess You are so beautiful and generous!!
Hi jess thanks a lotttttt for this video, I have watched so many other videos but they all included patterns which is not an option for everyone but you explained everything really well i understand completely so please make videos like this more, lots of love from India ❤️
@@JessDangDIY hello Jess,I just made a silly mistake while cutting by cutting two froont piece and I don’t have enough fabric to cut another back.what can I do to fix this error.should I cut four pieces of the upper body and join the back just like the way you joined the back..help a sister please.looking forward to your reply
Hi Jess! I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how you explain and show how you get the measurements for every garment, it really helps a beginner like me 🥰
Hi Jess I know it's maybe late But love these tutorials. I made the one without sleeves for my friend as a birthday gift she loved it 😁❤️ You really make patterns and sewing easy for us❤️❤️
I love these videos. I have a very svelte 9 ur old that most patterns do not fit her body type and these videos show me how to use her exact measurements to make her cute outfits. Instead of saying "fabric hole" you could say to make a "channel" to run the elastic or tie through. Keep the videos coming, they are fabulous, thank you.
Loved the tutorial. It was very detailed and informative. Please do share the bustier top or dress next. No one explains as good as you do and so would love to learn the bustier top from you! ❤️
Thank you so much for this tutorial....just love your step by step process....you really made it so easy to understand❤ all diy are just awesome and I'm definitely going to try this one....waiting for your next tutorial 🥰
Silent viewer here 😘 i would love to know what kind of fabrics do you use to your videos? . Looking forward to read them in the description in the future... Love from the Philippines 😘😘😘
Omg 🤦🏼♀️ new video every Wednesday and every week I come back at the same day Wednesday in Finland and every time I remember it’s Thursday in Finland when you post new video 😅
I tried to add 2 cm to bodice I am 2cm bigger than you in breast , it’s not fitting so I took the darts out and turning the whole top into a Milkmade top, gathered top an bottom is all I did, I will make another, I patterned the bodice on paper. I will finish it today
I've got a short request may you please do a tutorial for: a cut out knot side puff sleeve dress I've been struggling to get the patterns right. Much love ❤️❤️
Jess, jess, jess... I'm speechless 😊😊😊 i just thought of making such dress few days ago (that sleeveless one) 😀😀😀 you're really a mind reader 👏👏👏 ....... From Indonesia... See you next hhhwwweeekkkkkkkkk ❤️❤️🙋♀️🙋♀️
I tried making the dress today and I have some tips. Don’t make the bust area too long, I measured way too far above my breasts and it looked funny. Go to where it would sit nicely and that’s lower than you’d think (I thought mine was 24, but in reality I should’ve made it like 20 max). Also I took my waist/hip measurements + about 2cm and it was too small.. It’s better to cut too much than not enough. Lastly the pattern doesn’t seem to have seam allowance, so make sure to add that as well! I’m glad i tried it with a cheap fabric first, cuz if I’d made it in the right one straight away I would’ve had to lose a hella ton of weight to get into it. Good luck and thanks for the tutorial Jess it’s very cute 💕
Thank you for the tips. So others can learn more before they make their owns. I didn't have the seam allowance as I want the dress tight to my body. Because this fabric is the stretchy fabric. So I don't know why it's too small for you. But I'm sure you learn some experiences after that
Hello, can you help me here please, in 1:43 her measurement is 33. But if i'm not mistaken her 1/4 bust area is 20,5. Then shouldn't it be 20,5 x 1,5 = 30,75 ?? Sorry to bother you 🙏
@@JessDangDIY yes I figured I’d share my experience! Also for the practice model i used less stretchy fabric than you and I only sewed 1 part so I could pin the other side close, as I used my body’s measurements I thought it had to fit that way. Oh well, I learnt something new 🙏🏻
Seriously you are such a amazing one ❤️ nobody teach us like this on UA-cam.and your teaching methods is very good with pattern and measurements ❤️🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😀
