You know, I remember where I was when someone showed me how to play "come as you are." I was busy learning eagles, AC/DC, and Oasis.
I never tried to play Walk - Pantera in 20+ years, but I like it! I'll have to give it a go just for giggles! 😁👍🏼
Excellent choice of songs and riffs! Great job!
Great tones and song choices. Well done Guil! 😊👍
I've got 27 electric guitars on the Thomann website as my favaourites and this strat is the 2nd cheapest, but it's awesome! In case you wonder: my cheapest favourite is Sterling SUB CT30 Cutlass in Daphne Blue, 'cause it's a Cutlass and I love stratlikes and my dearest favourite is Fender Ultra Strat in Cobra Blue. Nearly have of them are strats, super strats or stratlikes. But really, if I was the age I started playing electric guitar, this Squier 70's HSS would be my choice.
You did, the Pantera one! You'll have a lot of views with all of these bands and help a lot of beginners as well as entertain us who already play!
🐆⚡️🌥 🔊. All the tones to rattle your bones 🤘🏽
Please, PLEASE, Black - Pearl Jam have to be on hit the tone!!!
100% YES, it's one of my favourites! //G
Odd you mentioned Drop D, but didn’t mention that Come As You Are is in D Standard (which you did in the previous episode).
Bro, Walk is in D Standard! 🤘
yoo that"s awesome!!
Thank you so much Matthew! :) //G
I hate to be ‘that guy’ but Walk isn’t in drop D….
Correct, it is D Standard, then tuned down ever so slightly (-15 cents maybe, can't remember the exact value for sure) than that too. Also, really accurately nailing that bend is trickier than it seems.
Missing the point. For a beginner, it is close enough. It was recorded in D standard and then the recording was slowed down in mastering. If you want to be picky about it.
@@Burnt_Gerbil I was just making the point not rubbishing the video. The slight tuning difference will only matter playing along to the record but playing in drop D changes how it’s played.
I wouldn't say it is close enough when it makes you have to make bigger moves up and down the neck by trying to play it in drop D. And I have never seen anything about slowing down the recording. I just looked it up and his guitar tech has said his "D Standard" tuning was actually C# standard + 40 cents. On the guitar, not changed afterwards.
Is it wrong that I laugh a little when he says pedals? It sounds like," pethos", in Spanish which is slang for flatulence! All kidding aside, sweet pick of songs for this vid! Thx
Hahahaha well now I know 😂 //G
