There’s another mistake in Toy Story 2 that was actually left in on purpose
In the opening scene where Buzz flies in to stop Zurg, he was supposed to fly around the (early version of the) canyon from A Bug’s Life. But by accident, a bunch of floating rocks were left suspended in midair.
However, it was kept in the movie because when John Lassiter saw it, he was impressed by how it made it feel like a different planet
I honestly thought that's a good addition
Then they went a step further and animated them.
"1 winner, 42 losers" is not a mistake. The Piston Cup is meant to be a reference to the NASCAR Cup Series, which still had a 43 car limit during 2006 when Cars came out.
Really I’m from Australia and don’t really follow NASCAR so thanks for that fun fact
They're calling out the fact that, despite McQueen saying there are 43 racers, there are only actually 36 cars on the track
Yeah, around that time, there were 43 cars that would make up a NASCAR field. Now there's about 36 to 40 cars on the field due to the charter system.
That's right. Not all teams make to the field, and McQueen, being in the trailer, wasn't aware about this.
Pixar explained exactly why the line involving Nascar was included in the very beginning of the movie definitely for a fact. It definitely caught my attention the moment that I came across it somewhere online, not even trying to find it by the way. Their explanation tied in exactly to understanding the beginning of the movie at a much more better level of understanding prior to even reading it.
There's something in A Bug's life that was missed. When Flik is leaving the colony, followed by two boys, the short one says "my dad thinks your going to die." Two mins later, the same ant tells his friend, "your dad's right, he's going to die."
I've been noticing that for ages!!!! So glad someone pointed it out!
The actress who voiced mrs potato head died today😢
I saw that on the news today she played Muriel in my favorite tv show the Suite life of Zac and Cody growing up.
Her name was Estelle Harris
@@taylorwelch444 Not to mention. Estelle Costanza on Seinfeld.
R.I.P 😔
I didn’t know that
I love how you said the fur disappears in the next shot, yet it’s still sitting there on the floor
Russel: "Please let me in"
Carl: NO!!!!!
#1: "Mr. Potato Head Never Got Arrested For His Crimes!"
In the end he made up with everybody.
@@thomasm.longiii3752 oh man...what about the 50 bzillion dollar reward???
These part may have been mistakes, but they ended up playing a part in what made these movies awesome and memorable anyway!!!
I always wondered where Russell was hiding 😂😂😂 sneaky kid!
He was in T pose
Maybe because Russell is really some kind of angel guiding the recently deceased Carl to his afterlife and I was once told that angels only show themselves when there is a good reason for them to do so.
I'm glad they called that out because I keep wondering the same thing everytime I watch it lol.
Been asking that question since I was 6!
The irony of talking about mistakes when you see the typo of the title.
LMAO I didn't even notice!!!
What typo lol
@@bluepythonproductions I think it was edited
@@anar8343 exactly my point.
You should do a "Top 20" with Pixar couples, including the underrated ones. I wanna see Buzz and Jessie on that list. 😁
@@olleselin lol
Imector had better top that list.
I missed the part where that’s my problem.
Buzz and Jessie- I haven't seen ts2 in a while but they are together??
@@AtarahDerek YES. THANK YOU.
When my mom went to school in the 70's, they had Saturday school. The Incredibles is not based in the 21st century, so not so weird
"A lot of fur does fall out but by the next shot, it's gone."
Me: *looks closely at the bottom bunk in said "next shot" and sees that THE FUR IS STILL THERE AND ON THE FLOOR TOO!
Seeing that umbrella stand move actually made me think that if they added an extra person cleaning up after her, that actually would have been hilarious 😂
Like the Egyptian servant in Mr. Peabody and Sherman
old lady: *throws shotgun down in anger.*
maid: I got it!
Also in A Bug's Life, when the ants are agreeing to let Flik leave, Atta was supposed to say "He can't screw anything up." before it was changed to "mess up". If you watch closely, her lips still say "screw".
I think the "you've been jealous of my good looks since the fourth grade, pal" line was an exaggeration on Mike's part, to emphasize how long Sully has been jealous of Mike's good looks.
I guess people can rush through movies and never check the errors. However they never really bothered me. Especially when buzz used the d word, I never noticed it, which is great because it definitely because people never noticed it. My guess is for Russell, he must have hidden offscreen and went on the house without anyone noticing him. They still are great movies no matter what.
Can we excuse the early Pixar movies since they were in early cgi? Animation is not easy.
Carl: DUG!
Dug: I was hiding underneath your porch because I love you can I stay?
For Monster’s University I always just assumed that they have known each other since childhood but didn’t become friends until college
That wouldnt explain why they introduce themselves at college and have no lines relating to having met since 4th grade (which was when Sully was apparently first jealous of Mike, according to Monster's Inc)
Imagine people being this bored to notice this stuff. I've been there lol
I remember seeing the commentaries on stuff like this on The Incredibles.
Alot of the times in animated movies when it comes to continuity issues is that every shot are rendered on different computers (render farming) as a means to render the movies out faster than doing on a separate computer.
Because they're separate computers, there are duplicates of the scene files so you will sometimes get such errors in continuity Because of that. Either the scene in question was sent to each computer at different times before animations were finished or it's just a financial/time constraint reason.
Nobody's perfect. Not even Pixar.
"Cars 2 isn't without its blunders."
Me: I thought the whole movie was a blunder.
It was purty hilarious
Actually I went back and rewatched Cars 2 a few months ago after not seeing it for a long time, and it was better than I remembered.
@@joshuaburba1048 I believe it’s better if you don’t include it with one and three and just a stand alone
@@nathanielvandiver5686 I can see that. That makes sense. Thanks for the comment.
the fur can still be seen falling off of mike in that shot
I got another one from Finding Nemo: How did Nemo make it back to the ocean through the drain without getting shredded by the sewage equipment? Seriously, imagine how many fish were killed in real life because of kids who tried to release their fish down the drains.
There actually is a deleted scene showing us how Nemo got through had Pixar shown that in the film.
@@MasonJWMyers That's true. Nemo probably knew how to make it through after learning how to jam the filter in the tank.
Russell knowing Carl fredricksen’s name before he asked him about it.
The video title has a typo- i think it means to say "Top 10 mistakes that were left in Pixar movies"
haha the titles a mistake😭
that’s what it says…
@@AlexeBriand2002 it didn't say that back then
70: Yeah, I have no idea how Russell went on the porch when the house was lifted to the air. Funny but head-scratching
2:25 if that is the "next shot" you mentioned where the fur is "gone", you should take a not even close look at the bedding and the floor. There is still fur everywhere. Lower left quarter of the screen.
The opening clip from The INCREDIBLES is one of my favorite scenes from the movie
Sully's shedded fur is still there. Look harder and you'll see that it's still laying on Mikey's bed.
The title says left twice .
seems odd bizarre right there but maybe constant re watching these to understand but down right weird
Despite the mistakes, I love Pixar no matter what.
That massive plot hole from MU always had me scratching me head but I still ❤️ that movie
2:22 if you look closely you can see the fur on the ground and on the bed
This video is so obnoxious. I was expecting actual mistakes, not a weird combo of minor inconsistencies you’d have to pause the movie to see, weird mistakes on your part, and actual plot devices. Sully’s fur IS still there. Not sure where they’re counting the cars but 43 applies to the number of entries and somebody might not have started and some might have pitted since we’re nitpicking. Russell isn’t on the porch so that the audience can be surprised like Carl is. Randall’s first name being up there was definitely on purpose, and I believe that’s to keep his name consistent throughout the film since it is a kids movie.
7:00 in the movie Cars Chick Hicks always placed 2nd place as said in the movie but Lightning, The King, and Chick Hicks all have equal points
I love these videos
It actually wouldn't surprise me if Buzz said damn. I can hear him saying it in my mind. 😂
4:30 actually the bandages are still there just not the cut lines.
Stuff that were left!
lol love the title
Actually in some schools in different states kids go to school all week except for Sunday's but they have longer breaks like spring breaks and Christmas breaks.
In the Pixar short George & A.J. it shows an angle clearly showing Russell underneath the porch. This could have been the fix for what was shown in the original movie. If you have not seen the short George & A.J. it is in the perspective of the shady oaks nurses who try to take Mr.Fredrickson away. They encounter other elderly people who got inspired to make their crafty escapes from Shady oaks.
Two left don’t make a right
Most obvious movie mistakes you never noticed:
In Cars 2, you can obviously see the green car is driving at 123 miles per hour, which means the car should have obviously crossed the gap 0.0023 seconds earlier. I honnestly don't understand how no one noticed this.
Buzz saying "Damn." Didn't affect me in any way.
Pixar definitely explained themselves exactly what happened with the cutscene that took place with the curse word being mentioned first and then being edited out later in post. It was talked about a way long time ago before they knew that eventually they might forget. They did eventually acknowledge later that they did not remember exactly what they said about it, and had to resort back to it to answer a question that someone had asked about it specifically.
I believe there's room under the floor and especially under the porch for Russell to hide because later we are told by Dug "I hid under your porch because I love you." So there must be just enough safe room for a dog and a small boy. You don't need to see something to know it's there, you know like the whole moral of the story was.
Intro Thumbnail: "Damn"!
Me: (Insert the old APA, a.k.a, "The Protection", theme song here.)
The Russell mistake was fixed in the story boarded Up short, yes he doesn't appear in the movie but we learn that was under the house when it took flight.
Is there anything is Incredibles 2 to indicate they went to school the next day, and that the weekend hadn't passed?
This. I came here for this comment. I totally agree with you. Why couldn’t it have been Monday? Are we missing something?
Yasssss
43 races is the max limit: its not out of the ordinary to think the night before all 43 spots will be taken. But last min changes can occur Obvs. Didn’t qualify or car troubles. Wouldn’t say it’s an error
Another one in finding dory, when hank and dory launch the truck with what a wonderful world playing in the background, a shot of the police officers watching shows one random officer rolling along the ground for some reason
You know, that scene where Buzz's lipsyncing didn't match up with "Blast" and instead it looks like it's saying "Damn" reminded me of the fact that when I was little, when Buzz yelled "MY SHIP!!!" when he saw his damaged "ship", I used to think he yelled, "OH SHIT!!!!"
If A toy had said what woody said too me I would have never asked for a toy ever again….😭👍
Kind of shows that who ever looks for things like this, has WAY TOO MUCH TIME on their hands 🤔🤦🏾
An excellent video from an excellent channel. Thanks Ms mojo and happy sunday as well , see You soon and god bless you
I didn’t see a solid color shirt on the little girl in Finding Dory. Both shots you showed were her wearing a striped shirt
9.48 kids crying on the floor
Was that a sock or a stocking 4:26
2:24 right round when she says the hair disappeared you can see hair on the bed yet on the blanket
Um...the fur "magically disappearing" falls on the floor
5:42 maybe it was a make up day or something because something like that happened to me in elementary school once
Ok, but as a college student, we're still children, so Mike wasnt wrong
You just took the words out of my mouth…
The Incredibles 2 one I don't feel was a mistake at all, A LOT of schools have school on Saturday especially in Europe. I've been going to school on Saturday's as well since 7th grade
The shed fur is still there. It’s seen on the bed and the floor. Go to spec savers.
0:51 Object Shows be like: Hold my BFDI/Dream Island/Million Dollars
Guys don’t worry, Russel is just Superman!🤩
#1 is like when in a cartoon or movie has a character sneak up on another character from directly in front of them, but it works because they were off screen.
If you look at the 2D animated video for the movie up, when the house is floating in the air, you can see Russell below the house holding on for dear life, like Buzz did under the elevator in toy story 2
2:15 I don't shed
I literally had ratatouille playing in the background as I was watching this
The bandaid for Mikey's hand injury is still visible during the next shot in Monster's Inc.
I'm glad they mentioned the incredibles 2 Saturday school thing. bugged me
Pixar explained that the movie was emulating the school life in 1970's when Saturday school was a very common occurrence. It was around the time when they themselves when to school. They even said that they were honestly telling the truth as well.
Sullivan's fur is still on the blanket. You can see it on the white part of the quilt
Sulley’s fur is still on Mike’s bed in the next shot.
Where in number six does she mention Saturday??
"talking about the hoover dam"
If Russell was that desperate to live but we didn't see him, perhaps he was on the other side of the house and in order to get to the front he had to reach under the wooden siding of the house, grab it upside down and shimmy his way over to the front. That is a really talented kid.
10:02 GOTCHA!
Never noticed that about the Cars films. Those are my fave from Pixar and I have seen each one at least 800 times. I did notice however in Cruz's confrontation with Lightning...that the #20 which was painted on her left side, shows on her right. Pixar left its mistakes in thinking they could get away with it!
I believe that some of the scenes in the movies were made later on and then clipped together to make the cutscene make sense in the movie. Pixar maybe confirmed this was the case with Finding Dory involving the water fountain. They definitely explained already in advance what the cutscene was going to be in the movie already
since maybe someone asked. I believe that they even stated that they are working on future cutscene ideas as they are currently developing the one that are working on in the current moment. I was definitely looking at this in more detail for some strange reason.
Someone from Pixar explained that what you mentioned was not a mistake in the movie. I definitely found out exactly why it was like that when I was digging up more information about the movie. They definitely mentioned that they were looking at the explanation when they were making the third movie around the time when they were designing the cutscenes for the movie.
Other animated series have done the same exact but it is significantly less noticeable unless you saw the full episode in its entireity. I think that Pixar explained that the other events leading up the next cutscene being shown in the movie were too slow place, and they worried thar people watching the movie would leave in the middle of it or something like that. They probably posted it somewhere online for people to watch later. I believe that they said that spent a long time making the content as well.
“Russell appearing in Carl’s house after takeoff” in Up is not a mistake. Russell explains that he was hiding under the house’s porch.
I think there was one scene in The Incredibles at E's house when she put Bob's old suit in the receptacle. There was a comment made about it on one of the extra features on the DVD version, but I'm not sure what exact moment they were referring to. I think it had something to do with the timing in which E let go of the suit. Can somebody enlighten me on that?
Is it ever mentioned that it’s the following day in The Incredibles 2? I’m pretty sure it was supposed to be the following Monday.
I love these, , like remember "oh that's right it's made by humanas"
The cars 42 one is not to the number of cars in the race but a reference to real life nascar where 43 cars compete
I just finished rewatching the Toy Story franchise in time for the new Lightyear movie! How can I have never noticed these mistakes!?! Funny how you never notice these things until someone else points them out!!
very very great fun list I like it a lot very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever ❤
2:24-ish when Mike gets off the bed look closer at the fur on his head it doesn’t disappear
Top 10 “Pixar Songs”
You’ve Got A Friend In Me, Remember Me, Touch The Sky, Real Gone, Life Is A Highway, Our Town, I Wouldn’t Have Nothing If I Didn’t Have You, Put That Thing Back Where It Came From, Strange Things, When Somebody Loved Me, Sailing No More, I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away…lots of songs available from Pixar!
The scene where The King crashed in Cars 1, his eye color changed from brown to blue
2:15 i dont shed: yes you do
For up, I think Russell's appearance was supposed to be surprising and the only way they could do that was by unexpectedly putting him up there, as putting him on the house when it took off would spoil the suprise.
Tbh here in Italy we go at school on Saturday’s
Another potential error was Mater’s dent from Cars 2 not present on him in Cars 3. Some say it is proof that Cars 2 is retconned, which I disagree with.
don't get me started on the food in the incredibles
As for Monster's University, the fur were particle effects, they don't stay in scenes for long.
8:34 turn the volume off and it’s so obvious he says damn
Have fun fact some places on the world actually do go to school on a Saturday.
