You can buy kaya at the supermarket or bakery shops. In fact kaya jam is a good gift to give to relatives and friends. Because kaya can only be found in Malaysia and Singapore.....if im not miataken.
These kopitiams specialising in toast usually sell their own kaya, if you buy it from the souvenir shop, it'll be some mass-produced, preservative-laden nonsense
