It would be really helpful if you also explain the distance that separates 2 different villages. When you've already had an iron farm, putting a breeder not far enough would just break the farm. I tried 64 blocks, and golems spawn all over the place. I don't know the exact distance, but 100 worked for me.
That’s where I’m at rn. @@minhho7586 ya I guess, the only problem I am running into is that once I moved the beds from the trading hall to be more compact so the trading hall iron farm would work properly It just screwed up the spawns of the actual iron farm and no golems are spawning and I even went into spectator on a copy of it and didn’t see any golems then either, so I’m probably gonna just move the iron farm 5 maybe 10 blocks away and see if it fixes it, also thanks for the help.

Thanks for the video and including explanations for bedrock as well! You mentioned villagers exploring and potentially getting lost. How do you expand the boundaries to a village, and is there a limit to much you can increase it?
I believe the wiki says village boundary is 32 blocks from nearest bed. If you're on jave, be careful to not make your village too big or a zombie seige will be triggered. I think it's 20 beds? But you can always go like 40 blocks out & start another village. Just keep the edges at least 32 blocks apart.
Is it best to keep villager buildings and towns super simple? I find my villagers are getting stuck in places they shouldn’t be and struggling to get to their bed/work station in which the door to the building is on the other side. So as you could imagine, nighttime can get lively when villagers aren’t going to bed 🙄
Do you still have the problem going on? My village is very messed up and doesn't look look and yet somehow the kids and villagers are running deep in the forest. And somehow they make thier way back
@@OVERLORDCLOWN sometimes when you make buildings, it will have a clear entrance but the villagers just won't lay down or go inside, you have to make it super easy for the villagers to be able to sleep, so just put many doors on a house, just make sure everyone has beds as well

But there is one part of it that is kinda broken currently and the rail is exposed. I didn’t mind much but then one day while riding it, I found two piglin brutes standing right on the rails. They ran to attack me as well but luckily I rode away fast. That spot is literally like just rails, netherrack on all sides, with one block space for windows. It’s super tight. Did the piglins somehow spawn in there, or they went in through the broken area I mentioned? I thought mobs can’t go over rails…? This is Bedrock by the way.

@Eyecraftmc I am not sure if this video was meant to have a second part in the future of not, but a few questions I would love to have explained in detail as you are so great at doing: 1) How does the iron golem spawning mechanic work? Most iron farms use 3 villagers, so I assume that is the minimum. Is there a cap of how many golems will spawn per village? Does a larger village result in faster golem spawning, or a larger cap? Are there hard caps on those (eg 200 villagers will produce X golems per minute, or stop spawning once X cap is reached)? 2) You mentioned the reputation system. If you have two nearby villages, and villager from village A gossips to a villager in village B. Will both villages have the negative reputation? 3) The 6 second rule 32 blocks from spawn basically exiling a villager mechanic - If the villager walks back into the original village (or is moved to in a boat), does it rejoin the village, or is the villager permanently exiled, and only allowed to be the mayor of his own new village? 4) Lastly, you have a fantastic guide on iron farms and breeder farms. I would like to challenge you to make a dual purpose iron/village breeder farm as compact as possible. :) Thank you for your videos. Your attention to detail is second to no other UA-cam creator I have found for Minecraft. EDIT: 5) Also, a breakdown of how the zombie raids on large villages (if this is still accurate) would be nice. Is there a minimum villager amount before it happens, or is this simply a myth?
In my experience from bringing back villagers who somehow made it past the walls i build they will rejoin the village once they are within the bounds again signaled by green particles and immediately pick up their daily routine. You only might have to free up or build another bed and jobsite for them since they lost their claim on their original ones though
For 10:50, it should be mentioned though that villagers (and other mobs too) can push each other over rails. So using rails as a "villager proof door" at a place that has several of them, can lead to them escaping since villagers are often in pairs or just gathered at one spot to gossip an all that
Is it possible to just keep expanding a village. I know by adding beds and work stations you can "expand" that 32 block boundary, but is there a limit to this. I found a cool seed that had 3 desert villages not too far apart from each other and I wanted to build one giant desert city out of them and am curious if I can just connect all 3 of them.
My coastal village died in 10 minutes, it was sad since I was watching them die while fighting zombies with stone swords. Try going in peaceful mode, spam campfires everywhere, and put it on easy, any other mode allows zombies to break doors. 💀
@@JamesAMichals So TLDR I kind of gave up on this game. I literally LITERALLY spent days and tens of hours looking for a F#%KING nether fortress and could NOT find one. It’s ridiculous. Mojang maybe don’t make nether fortresses impossible to find, and I’ll play your game again 🙃
I guess this is what I needed lmao I've been trying to build an automatic villager breeder, with farmers gathering food, giving it to "breeder" villagers by mixing a 1.16 design with your 1.19 one. Seems like everything would be working nice... but no, the farmers stay around the breeders and are not doing their job, even though the crops are fully grown. What could cause that?
I've got a village overlapping the border between sparse jungle and plains, and my villagers run around freely, so I've got some of both types. But it seems like babies more often come out being the plains type. The jungle type looks cooler though. Maybe I should make a breeding area to promote the jungle type.
love your channel, actually my favorite about the game! your content is so good and I hope that you grow so much :) and my favorite villager is the taiga villager!
Finally! I have been working on a breeder and could not for the life of me figure out why the villagers would not breed. I didn't have enough air blocks above the extra beds. Once I solved that I had new villagers within a couple minutes. Would've been sooner but the 5ish minutes cooldown was still on going.
I had a couple desert villagers all the way out in the middle of the ocean. I finally found a costal city (desert themed) Any idea how they got so far out there?
How I deal with nitwits and make sure that villagers don’t wonder too far is, I put a 1 block wall of dirt and put thorn bushes around so none of the villagers wonder far and to keep mods away and when nitwits are born I push them out(break dirt and place it back and grow it quickly) and practically exile them so the mobs take care of them while my rep stays good
Great video! Does villager reputation go back to normal eventually? I hit a villager accidentally while taking their bed and I haven’t really gone back since and would maybe like to trade with them.
From all npcs villagers are my favourite ones. They have their charm and uniquenes. I love how they actually have their own lives going on and their population is dynamic
@Eyecraftmc A few days ago I stumbled upon this channel for a breeder and trading and brewing, so this is a very helpful video Question: how do villagers restock trades? Is it Having a legal bed Having their workstation Both None Pls let me know
I’ve found a naturally generating jungle village that said it was a plains village on chunk base.combat the villagers there were jungle villagers with only like one or two plains villagers
One of my villagers ran away when I was going to make a trading hall and he ran so far down a cave that he got to an aciant city and suffocated when I thrived getting him out
just a quick question abotu the gossip mechanic: if you cure a villager and he then lowers his prices, if he then gossips with other villagers, will the other villagers then lower there prices?
I sacrifice Nitwits to the Drown because they actually are of no use to the village. Better for the villagers to breed a stronger smarter villager for the village. And since a mob killed it, no rep damage
i was building this house for my toolsmith, he suddenly disappeared one day. Tried to find him everywhere until i went to the nether portal and he died in the nether minutes after....
i just wanna say that gather doesn't mean that the villager is gathering things it means that the villagers are gathering together at the bell and that's when they kinda just talk to each other ig here's a small part of the Minecraft wiki "Late in the day, adult villagers gather at a meeting place (the area around a bell). When two villagers encounter one another, they mingle (look at each other and "converse" by humming at other villagers). They may also share food, or breed if both are willing."

For 10:50, it should be mentioned though that villagers (and other mobs too) can push each other over rails. So using rails as a "villager proof door" at a place that has several of them, can lead to them escaping since villagers are often in pairs or just gathered at one spot to gossip an all that
Savannah villagers look the best, they look like they are wearing majestic red velvet robes and have crowns
The Rail blocking mobs trick is Gamer Secret of the Year. 10/10
Another great vid from eyecraft!
Am I the only one who has trouble keeping my villagers alive? 🙃
You are not alone .I hate how villagers are " deleting"
My coastal village died in 10 minutes, it was sad since I was watching them die while fighting zombies with stone swords.
Try going in peaceful mode, spam campfires everywhere, and put it on easy, any other mode allows zombies to break doors. 💀
I can’t find any villages on my game!!
Just build a wall and secure the entire area in light
Hell yea!! You mentioned the bed air space thing!!! Love your videos, super informative and you've helped me make my MC world so efficient ❤
Damn, I never even knew that villagers could gossip about you like that xD
even if i understand what he’s talking about i still love to watch the videos! good job!
Ah yes, the floor is made out of floor
I’m now very partial to the savannah because of a village I found and have been adding to in a world I have! Thanks for the great video!
I guess this is what I needed lmao
I've been trying to build an automatic villager breeder, with farmers gathering food, giving it to "breeder" villagers by mixing a 1.16 design with your 1.19 one. Seems like everything would be working nice... but no, the farmers stay around the breeders and are not doing their job, even though the crops are fully grown. What could cause that?
very well informed and easy to follow video, good vibes overall i enjoy the content sub earned
I've got a village overlapping the border between sparse jungle and plains, and my villagers run around freely, so I've got some of both types. But it seems like babies more often come out being the plains type. The jungle type looks cooler though. Maybe I should make a breeding area to promote the jungle type.
love your channel, actually my favorite about the game! your content is so good and I hope that you grow so much :)
and my favorite villager is the taiga villager!
Finally! I have been working on a breeder and could not for the life of me figure out why the villagers would not breed. I didn't have enough air blocks above the extra beds. Once I solved that I had new villagers within a couple minutes. Would've been sooner but the 5ish minutes cooldown was still on going.
thanks it helps
🤩🤩🤩
I had a couple desert villagers all the way out in the middle of the ocean. I finally found a costal city (desert themed)
Any idea how they got so far out there?
How I deal with nitwits and make sure that villagers don’t wonder too far is, I put a 1 block wall of dirt and put thorn bushes around so none of the villagers wonder far and to keep mods away and when nitwits are born I push them out(break dirt and place it back and grow it quickly) and practically exile them so the mobs take care of them while my rep stays good
I found a jungle villager by default bcuz the billage spawned between jungle outskirts and plains
I always love it when that happens, I've found similar seeds for mangrove villages with mangrove villagers inside
Useful information. What about villagers with houses vs work places. Can apartments be created for villagers?
Great video! Does villager reputation go back to normal eventually? I hit a villager accidentally while taking their bed and I haven’t really gone back since and would maybe like to trade with them.
From all npcs villagers are my favourite ones. They have their charm and uniquenes. I love how they actually have their own lives going on and their population is dynamic
@Eyecraftmc
A few days ago I stumbled upon this channel for a breeder and trading and brewing, so this is a very helpful video
Question: how do villagers restock trades? Is it
Having a legal bed
Having their workstation
Both
None
Pls let me know
They work at their stations they restock 2 times a day
question . so i have a village and i had a BUNCH of villagers and now they all are gone how can i get them back ? please help me
I love both the cold biome villagers and the taiga villagers :D
Thank you Eyecraftmc, I can now breed villagers since every night zombies always gravely reduce the villager population.
I’ve found a naturally generating jungle village that said it was a plains village on chunk base.combat the villagers there were jungle villagers with only like one or two plains villagers
13:51 "That's right, villagers have a six second memory." Cracked me up lol
I can relate to the villagers having a six second memory
@@ZennoOnYtabsolutely no one asked😊
your voice is soooo soothing man
Your voice adds to your videos greatly
omfg i was thinking of making a villager trading hall and was looking for a guide!! love this upload!! v helpful :)
A nice lesson in villager biology! Seriously though, I think I learned more about a videogame’s biology than what I learned in class.
thank you very much, i gave my 4 villagers a whole 4 stack of breads and didnt even breed.
now they breeded. Thank you very much
One of my villagers ran away when I was going to make a trading hall and he ran so far down a cave that he got to an aciant city and suffocated when I thrived getting him out
Had no idea they couldn't walk over rail tracks.. thx 4 the upload✌️
just a quick question abotu the gossip mechanic:
if you cure a villager and he then lowers his prices, if he then gossips with other villagers, will the other villagers then lower there prices?
u are the best minecraft guide i know
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Why Do People Kill Villagers And Cool Video
I sacrifice Nitwits to the Drown because they actually are of no use to the village. Better for the villagers to breed a stronger smarter villager for the village. And since a mob killed it, no rep damage
@@dukeblithe7848 ok
Awesome content thanks 😊
learning everything about the villagers I can with your guides
i was building this house for my toolsmith, he suddenly disappeared one day. Tried to find him everywhere until i went to the nether portal and he died in the nether minutes after....
This helped a lot thanks
1. does this still work in 1.2.1?
2. does this apply to bedrock aswell?
Could u do ultamate guides on each mob like their spawning mechanics their detection range their pathfinding and stuff like that
I really like the look of taiga and snowy biome outfits! Currently all my villagers are from plains biome (that’s okay tho I still love them).
are we not gonna talk about how that nitwit instant transmissioned away at 8:40
I love your channel!! Keep it up dude ❤️
I learned a lot from this,
Thanks!
Please make an iron farm video for 1.19 bedrock because i can never find a tutorial for it
i just wanna say that gather doesn't mean that the villager is gathering things it means that the villagers are gathering together at the bell and that's when they kinda just talk to each other ig here's a small part of the Minecraft wiki
"Late in the day, adult villagers gather at a meeting place (the area around a bell). When two villagers encounter one another, they mingle (look at each other and "converse" by humming at other villagers). They may also share food, or breed if both are willing."
thank you, this means i can re populate this vilage with 2 villagers (and me) living in it.
and i dont need Name tag for them so they can not despawn right?
Thank you so much my villiger breeder stoped working because I put block above the beds never would have found this out myself.
Wow the swamp villagers look so good i didn’t
Know they existed
