You can directionally launch the enemy with your one if you roadhog the hook. Aka, when reeling them in either turn to the side or do a 180 and you can uppercut them in that direction. Like your guardian, plus a bomb.
Yea that shit is absurdly powerful early game unless theres some simple counter I'm missing. Most bebop players have just been bombing and sending me back and as dynamo that's just a non issue with my 2, but goddamn when they know to send you to the Guardian you're as good as fucked.

2 things. you can aim in and skip the windup. this is good for denying and last hitting. You can also grab, insta flick 180, and hit them with your 1 into tower like a hercules combo. your 1 also is an AoE hit so you can push them towards danger even if theyre slightly to your side or behind you.
Regarding the CC duration, it's similar to Dota. It can feel unfair at first, but it's there for a reason: punishing poor map positioning, punishing solo pushing, and preventing characters with high mobility from being unkillable. It also rewards proper itemisation, and grouping. Using some of the active items you can counter a lot of these moves; try getting the immunity active items or warpstone. Dota and Deadlock both require you to look at the roster at the start of the game and consider which abilities will be the most dangerous to you, and build around them.
11:40 We are not the same. I always want more CC, more Roots more Silences and for them to last longer. I like low effort characters with low DMG high utility. Makes me feel helpful without having to be good enough to get kills. I adore Artio and chasing to stun.
Love the vid. I'm also a relatively new player who mainly plays bepop at the moment. You mentioned that you were slightly less comfortable in the lane phase. A very useful thing that I found was ADSing for last hitting/denying souls because it removes the small wind up on the gun!! Looking forward to future bepop builds!! :)
As long as there are items to purchase and champs who’s whole idea is not being held down, i love more CC then soft CC. Prevents people from always just focusing on damage purchases
does debuff remover also shortens the stun/sleep duration? also theres reactive barrier some abilities like stone golem of ivy completely negates certain cc like wraith's ult i think and i dont quite remember which but some cc still allows you to use items? so super jump or blink are an option too right?
Yea there's a lot of items to buy to counter hard cc. Ethereal shift and buff remover are on 30ish second CDs. That would be crazy in any other game but fits in Deadlock
@@jack7cdusm7 you can also buy "Unstoppable" in late game under Vitality. Gives you complete CC immunity for 6 seconds iirc (~60 seconds CD, 6300 S). But you have to do it preemptively, because it doesnt free you of already applied CC. Together with "Metal Skin", which gives you bullet and punching immunity for 3,5 seconds (~30 seconds CD, 3000 S) you can just dish out damage and kinda dont care about what they are trying to do. Needs very precise timing tho and not fat fingering your active item keys in the heat of a teamfight 😅

Smol thingy: bullet velocity with rapid rounds on Bebop is odd because he's the only hero with hitscan autos so he doesn't benefit from Bullet Velocity I fully expected echo shard Bebop to get recorded and got Gunbop instead, I will wait still a fun watch tho c:

At ~20:00 you mention Paradox movement. Her base kit has no mobility other than move speed on her 3. The teleport you saw when you hooked her was the active item warp stone. Item is kinda OP imo, especially on someone like paradox.
I feel like that stealth item would be good on grey talon. It refills shields and his flight would combo with the invis well. It prolly would have kept you alive that time in your video where 3 people chased you down through the tunnels and you kept clutching traps.
Well, you see, in DOTA2, the lane has ways to pull back and stall your own troopers using the jungle units. Deadlock feels much more eb and flow with the lane troopers.
Both the bombs you said you didnt hit in the early game you did hit them. If you watch at the top middle of the screen it shows there hp bar go down when you hit them with abilities.
@@benkimbril5859 i think thats the implication, and the lack of scaling on the bomb seems to support that. but i agree its a bit confusing. also not sure if bomb scaling only occurs when the bomb is placed on the enemy hero
@@benkimbril5859 yeah, since he punched them away so quickly after planting the bomb there was still time for it to count down to detonate giving the enemies a chance to dash away. So they were hit by the 1 damage but was able to move away in time before the bomb hit them

The final players coming to the game as well they have fast movement and good aim And walexo is the goat gunbop sadly gunbop fall off a cliff late game in high elo so many counter BTW Bebop is one of those hero that farm t3 camp at 7min with ULT+ infuser and 3 more spirit items early
I've seen that you don't use the dash jump slide momentum while playing in your vids i recommend you to try the cs b hop theme and use you mouse button to jump and control button to slide is way easier this way.if you try it out lmk how it feels😊😊

@@MastYT there's also a bit of a bug at the moment, where you can release and quickly reclick right click to zoom out but keep the wind up.

Bebop is so fun. The fact that you can target your allies with every ability except the 4 means there's some real shenanigans you can do

It also lets you actually have fun playing more support oriented heroes by being able to make sick plays. I disagree about it being braindead.

24:30. Paradox's wall CHUNKS. Base wall does like 10% max health damage if you touch it once, and scales with spirit

Getting distance before punching the slot machines does nothing except delay your farm with additional travel time, I think.
A tip to clear red camp is that you can use your ult due to the aoe around bebop

Surprised this build didn’t have slowing bullets. I think some of the kills aren’t dropped if they get slowed.

The 1 does small area damage when the target hits the ground. Bomb damage early will take a larger chunk.
