- In this video I detail the installation of the Top Guns ACE supercharger kit on my Nissan 370Z sports car. This kit is an air-to-air conversion of the original Stillen kit for the Z34 Z car, and the Infiniti G37. It features a Vortech V3 Si procharger, painted intake plumbing, and large intercooler. Under 14 pounds of boost, this kit should make by 370Z's VQ37 reach 525WHP.

29:08 if you hold your hand up close behind a small object that won't easily come into focus...it will help focus the camera on it(camera focusing on stuff further off since dipstick is so thin...bring hand up an inch behind dipstick to force camera to refocus on what you're wanting it to).

You can hit 500whp easy on turbo and with much less boost
I've seen this kit makes 600whp .it should make good high 500 whp

I assume you are running the stock engine mounts during this video. Any plans to do catch can instead of filters? Hope your wiring doesn't have any heat issues with the rerouting. Overall, good video of pointing out all the work and issues you've had to overcome.

It's running strong, just having issues with belt slip, also a potential exhaust leak which I am trying to fix before we finalize the tune.
It's pulling hard though, this kit is amazing!

Are you concerned about the placement of the pulley next to the SC coupler? It seems very close.
Hmm so will i be able to use eps throttle bodies with this supercharger?
Why not get the BDE or z1 motor mounts and torque solutions tranny mount to stop the engine from moving
Because I prefer the smoothness of non-solid engine mounts. Though this may be an upgrade one day in the future.

When you said 8-10 hours, I thought that sounded long for a bunch of bolt off and bolt ons but seen the dremel work. How much you think you saved installing yourself vs a shop you trust?
Depends on the shop but a few grand.

What gauges and gauge pillar are you running?
Excellent video. Should you damage those the pulleys or the belt where could you get replacement parts? Its a shame stillen engineers did not do this in the first place.
I would speak with Aaron to get the list of P/N's needed for any parts that need regular maintenance. I was going to note the P/N's listed on the belt and buy replacements ahead of time.

I was wondering when the crash bar was going back in and it never did...that is something for a streetcar, playing with fire there if the unthinkable happens. You need to find a crashbar solution ASAP if you have not already.

I monetize my videos after the first few days to let subscribers watch it ad free, in terms of the frequency of embedded ads, I don't have control over it outside of turning them off completely. I'll have to go back and watch my own video/see if there's something that can be done.
I have driven the car for the first 2500 miles and it has run strong, the car seriously pulls, but I hadn't dyno'd it yet because my tuner and I have been trying to workout an afr+belt slip issue, and an oil leak caused my timing to get thrown off. I'm posting an update video soon.

What oil catch can did you get in order clear the supercharger piping?
I don't have catch cans. I am currently just running pcv filters.

Stays where it’s at. I’m doing this install on my g37 rn
@@xStaySkilledx it looks like the piping goes past where the reservoir normally sits (@ 41:15) - it’s not on the car in the video
@@Reiimondo he might’ve removed it for ease of install etc but on the 370 and g37 it doesn’t move. So I don’t think it would on the q50 either.

@@thecarizon504 saving up for soho supercharger kit. What guages should I run ? The best 3 you think for a guage pod?
Why are you going Soho over this kit? This kit eliminates all the issues of the Soho kit and makes more TQ. Not to mention looks much better with the hood popped.
And this kit costs hundreds of dollars less.
Tuner Dub, the Top Guns kit is better imo for the reasons A Didis just mentioned. The use of the factory manifold reduces install time and is superior to the stillen manifold in terms of power. The top guns kit does look cleaner as well, and the color options make it more customizable. No need for the maf extensions which both on the stillen kit and soho kit are known to have problems.
As for your question on guages, depends what you want to see. I already have access to afr readings through ecutek, so I try to look at gauges that present more info, like fuel pressure.
Will it pass smog?
@Jason so would he have to put the oem intakes back in to get it passed every time?
Texas does have smog in some counties but almost no one checks.
