I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.
Hey Guys! Our main interest still lies in providing minimal or no equipment workouts. We will always be rotating the types of training that we offer; sandbag training is something that we've been practicing and really enjoying, so it will likely be added to the rotation. If you want to do our sandbag workouts, you can easily make your own at home for just a few dollars, or you can even use dumbbells or kettlebells, with modifications in how you set them down and let them rest against your body. We'll make some workouts with with db/kb modifications in the future. You can also use the search function on our website to search for hundreds of workouts that use no equipment at all. We hope you enjoy this workout as much as we do.
Hi. I found your channel a little while ago and it's been a savior. Been working out every day. It actually got me motivated to work out and have a healthy life. I have a question. Would you consider making a video on how to make one of those sandbags at home or modify dumbbells to use? that would be extremely helpful. Thanks :)
Thanks, Sandbags are a cheaper type of exercise equipment that helps to work different muscles when my legs are jogging tired. Also it helps to fight boredom. The work you guys do on this youtube channel is priceless I cannot thank you enough.
Hey Daniel. Lovin the sandbag workouts.over here in Staffordshire ,England They're dovetailing nicely with my Skierg training. One thing though.....DO MORE OF THEM!!!!!i do mix it up and make my own up but it's better with a partner doing it in real time.
I have been doing this work out 3 times a week since around 3 years ago. I bet ill fill up this comment section over time but here we go! thanks again so much for this video!!!
I have been doing this workout 3 days a week and added more stuff inbetween, such as 200 sit ups and some push ups. I have lost 70 pounds from doing this. I love my sandbag! I started in September
Wow, this was a great workout! I'm so grateful I found this! I appreciate how you demonstrated each exercise and gave queues for technique! Def. saving this one!
Your sandbag workouts are brutal but at the same time absolutely worth it kicked my ass but after completing the workout I was feeling awesome so I hope you guys will be uploading more sandbag workouts in the future
Love it Daniel! I use my 10lb weights and modify some of the moves! #Beastmode Now moving on to another one of your great workouts! WORKOUT almost COMPLETE!
for those that do not have a sandbag, get a duffel bag from a second hand store (one where the handles go around the bag) stuff it with grocery bags and use gravel (home depot $3.77 50 lbs/.5 cu ft) for weight. Sandbag for under 10 bucks.
Of the very 1st exercise I was like ”OK doesn’t look too straining now does it”, yea well it really made my lower abs tell me they’re probably now in their best ever shape, thanks for the workout, I’ll assimilate some moves into my ”regime”
Excellent workout. I've seen on the channel for years and finally did it. My back is burning! Haha. I learned that I can't do a Turkish getup with 35kg of weight on my shoulder..... yet. Felt like something was gonna pop out of place, so I stopped. Anyway, great work.
I don't have a sandbag but really wouldn't want to miss out on a new FB workout - "new" like, 8 years on YT but haven't tried this one yet ;) - so I just used my kettlebell + dumbbells and that also worked well :) Thank you for another great sweat!!
I am in my late 40s, do this routine at least 3 times a week and the next day I'm always in pain, except for my pecs, it doesn't seem to do much for that. Is there an exercise I could do to complement that area? Thank you for sharing.
this was awesome. i really earned my shower. i'm so sweaty it's disgusting. the shoulder exercises were a bit awkward in my opinion,. and the bag was abrasive against my shoulders. i'd have to replace them with other exercises (or maybe just dumbbells) because the bag was also floppy lol
Is it normal to not feel the same type of soreness the next day as you get with traditional weight lifting or even calisthenic workouts? I just did this whole routine yesterday with a 40lb bag. First time working out in nearly two years so Im very out of shape. It felt pretty challenging as I was doing it but I dont feel super sore today. My biceps, shoulders, and quads are the most sore and the rest of my body has hardly any soreness at all. Just not sure if I actually accomplished anything with the workout.
I do 3 reps of 15 doing a dead lift to work my abs but have had slight pain in my stomach recently? Is this muscle pain or the fact im quite dehydrated
I enjoyed the workout - though I must say, it is nowhere as tough as a judo session of warmup + randori (sparring). I am out of shape and I used an approx. 30lb sandbag. I miss judo. :( In judo, your energy is zero after using it all up, and then you feel like just closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep - until your opponent picks you up and throws you!
Sandbags are so easy to make take a bunch of ziplock bags fill with sand reinforce with duct tape and put as many as u like into a duffel bag I don't have room for a home gym and it would cost too much to go to my "local" gym (2 hour drive isn't very local) so I usually use sandbags
Hallo iam not fitnessblender but i can answer your question.Because i use the same bag it comes from bruteforcetraining this musst be the athlet model you can fill it to a maximum of 30 kilogramm. And i can say it is the best bag you can buy .there are no plastic on the grips wat is more comfortable in use.
By holding the handles is defeating the purpose of doing a sandbag work out. The whole point is work out your forearms and grips but you cannot achieve this by holding handles. If you were to really use outdoor tools like a barrel , hay stacks and logs there are no handles.
Too much momentum in the routines, and poor form. Think bag too heavy for you but, principal good. Form is paramout in any varied workout!!!! I don't think there is enough potential for slow/fast twitch stress 'micro tear' on muscles. Just my opinion. Thanks for the video though. Interesting.

This workout is so bloody hard. I can't imagine just how hard it would be if I actually done it.
😂

I picked up a 20kg bag for a fiver at a car boot sale, bargain of the century. Now I’m figuring out how to use it.

I do 3 reps of 15 doing a dead lift to work my abs but have had slight pain in my stomach recently? Is this muscle pain or the fact im quite dehydrated
Which part of the body are you working with those exercises?
Did you film this in the metaverse? It's like your stuck in an episode of Black Mirror and you have to exercise for eternity.
Fookin' ass kicking workout! luuuurrve it!

Made it to the first round of shouldering... further next time.

Hey FitnessBlender.......where did you purchase the bag you use? And what type of duffle bag IS that?
Hallo iam not fitnessblender but i can answer your question.Because i use the same bag it comes from bruteforcetraining this musst be the athlet model you can fill it to a maximum of 30 kilogramm. And i can say it is the best bag you can buy .there are no plastic on the grips wat is more comfortable in use.
How long is your ssndbag
Is this workout good for bulking?
This is for strength endurance.

mmm this is going to murder me tomorrow at 4 am i can't wait
it looks like a workout for people who want to dispose of a dead body lol
I mean I’ve been told that wrestlers and military are the people that do this stuff to practice moving dead weight haha. That’s what I use it for.
how many kilos has the sandbag?
Daniel is using 22.68 kilo / 50 lb sandbag
If you wanna throw up you can do max burpees during that 20sec break 😎
Knees past toes in squat?
muchos problemas como eso.
Here we gooo! Haha
Looks awesome... can't wait to kill it... or it kills me... we'll see...
