what about future characters that power creep these characters, so much so that the content becomes too difficult for the characters you rolled to clear?

Nah if you are trash in this game no matter how strong a character is you are not clearing anything.
You obviously have not seen a jiyan with full copies of himself and his weapon clear all end game content in under 30 seconds. This game is still pay to win.

Power creep is only a problem if it locks you out of content, if not it's just numbers on a screen and means nothing.
Changli and Yinlin buff their damage type so having them is more valuable for any dps of that type, when Jiyan and Female IL get their premium buffers they get better.

I'd still use Havoc Rover over any existing and upcoming 5-star units. Never have I experienced a very useful MC in a gacha game before.
For f2p id rather play a maxed out Danjin than A0 Jiyan.
They would eventually get replaced but theyre still fun to play with. And with Rover getting powerful soon he will legit stay in my comp bc i love rover
But if they release a more useful character and gameplay you like, most likely you will swap out havoc rover

Check Solo Leveling:Arise . Not only MC is an useful character. He is the GOAT of that game. That’s the character to prioritize raising.
@@MariaRodriguez-hb4ix thats kinda different, the game is based on novel/web toon, and its been out for so many years that it amassed millions of fans. For sure theyll make Jinwoo THE strongest. WuWa/Genshin is different bc theyre new characters we dont know and love yet

The best character in any gacha game is always going to be the next character coming out. Just try to get who you like
Standard characters are a bit better than 4 stars, but not as good as limited 5 stars. They will always be the 1st to get powercrept. This is true 99% of the time.
That gunner you're talking about looks like a 4 star, he has a very "NPC" look to him. I hope to be wrong though!
welp, in PGR the power creep is really bad, but, you can compensate with skill, still to this day i keep using normal Lucia, its doable if you try different builds on her.

I think there would be an actual powercreep, esspecially with ez to play characters.
Otherwise players would just have no reason to switch out Calcharo/Danjin/Rovver, thus it will hurt the revenue.

Given the fact that the planet is called Solaris - 3.... I do not know much about the lore, but that is a weird ass name for a planet, unless there are many other planets and space travel is a thing... I am curious if we will get new planets, similar to honkai star rail in the future?
I'm not a fan of collabs but I for sure am looking forward to character skins. Specially if they reflect story power ups thus justifying the improved animations the skin provides that'd be cool.

They probably will do it like PGR. Some skins are "story related", or event related, (like summer swimsuits or winter clothing etc.), some skins are basically just a big eye candy that even reskin all the attack effects and that alone can sell the skin.
Though in pgr's case skin/coating are story justified since the characters are basically androids and virtual "makeover/skin" is a thing.
So if they ever do a skin in WuWa, they might give a world building gimmick that makes skin make sense in the story.
(though they hinted (transformations in the past dev. Statements)
So who knows what more can they add.

A slight Powercreep is ok. But i myself only pull for design and skills not power. Powercreep can kill a game like tof, where stuff from preview version was 30% weeker and could be put in the trash. If it is slight like genshin you can still play the complete game, maybe not all stars abysss. I quitted tof before they did their collab with evangelion which i would have liked, but it was already to late. Rover would also get new elements maybe so can hopefully compete with newer chars. I really like her playstyle and the fact that the MC is not completly unplayable like in Genshin is super refreshing.
This game could actually do a Date A Live and all the characters could fit the weapon type….those collabs print money lol

I like Jinhsi, I wanted her and Changli, but I'm almost f2p, just buy luni. And I already got Jiyan, Yinlin and their weapon! More than I expected or what I've ever had in gacha. So I'm already grateful. 😌 I should skip Jinhsi in this case, but Changli is still possible target. If the leak is reliable, she will be a f2p friendly with the standard weapon. Or save for Phrolova. I love her story...(📘If you know, you know) And until lnow I have more then 3 top unit for the tower so power creep is not really exist in a single player game…

also in tower of fantasy, powercreep so fast but if you pull for the new weapons. it will be stronger i feel but the weapon gonna get power creep soon because it is made easier to obtain those weapons.
for PGR, the power creep is slower and plus we can get basically all future release s rank if we skip weapon banner, pet banner, A rank banner and play consistently.
takes like 1-2 years for characters to get power crept i feel.

Guys just remember there is no power creeping in the first year or two. Why you asked? You need 3 teams silly. A character needs to be powercrept two times to be in danger.
Power creep is inevitable, thats why meta come and go but waifu/husbando lives forever.

Eh, as long as you can beat the content with the mc, Itll be fine. Wuwa is a much more skill based game based off tectones tournament. Even level 90 characters wont steam roll the current hardest content and need the player to interact with game mechanics to beat.

if it werent for the fact that i like jinhsi more than yinlin, i would have yinlin by now since im almost at 20k astrite and 19 radiant tides.
in pgr first gen characters can clear the current gen content which is hard but doable. gen 2 characters requires only less skill.
if im able to run around the world and beating content with my fav chara jinhsi, i will keep playing the game and buy monthly + bp each time they reset anf this gonna be for all future characters i like. in this type of game its not hard getting ur favourite character unless u are a gambler.
The limited have bigger AoE and c.c, nothing less
powercreep in genshin? ganyu and hu tao still OP at this point in time given the right team. diluc is stronger too with xianyun. powercreep in genshin? big 4 4stars are still meta lmao., Its better to refer to it as a reverse powercreep in most cases.
If you can clear the game with the characters you have. Powercreeping should NOT be in issue. It's normal in gacha games to powercreep to add value to the upcoming banners. Now if powercreeping locks you out of a content now THAT's an issue. Otherswise keep the yappers yappin.
TBH, I'd buy a Yinlin or FMC swimsuit skin...

this game has been cleared with a *4 char... in the end it's a skill based game.. i mean ofc you need good echo and stuff.. so grind and weapon is a must but with the resource that has been given is that even an issue? so these power creep won't affect much considering if it really will happen.. and lastly.. all games has these issue.. and lastly this game is not genshin.. they listen to their player unlike them.. so this topic is kind of pointless tbh

Its hard to be concerned about power creep when you talking about limited character #3 & 4... when we talking about characters #60-61 it will be a different conversation... the characters WILL be power crept, that doesnt mean older characters will be useless... the content wont demand power crept characters, the player will just want the stronger character... Just like Genshin (since you brought it up) Arlecchino power crept Hu Tao, but you can use Hu Tao in every bit of content... 1 or 2 characters did NOT wipe out everything you did... at no point, even leading into 5.0 do you need to pull the latest and greatest character in order to complete content... thats just a lie =/
It's a gacha game which is free to play. Company will want to make money. Powercreep is inevitable. Let's not get our hopes up.
All gacha games do this, the game don't get harder, but the characters get stronger. They really can't be "powercreeped." when you can still clear all the content with the base characters.

The new age gacha gamers post Genshin have really run the term "powercreep" to the ground.
There is no power creep in Genshin. You can clear every Abyss with Xiangling Kaeya Xingqiu Bennet Sucrose Lisa Fischl Collei Noelle.
You just need to know how to play.

using Genshin as an example of powercreep is not a good example since difficulty in genshin plateaued in 2.0, v1.0 characters are still perfectly capable of beating everything the game has to offer because the game is incredibly casual, they refuse to add meaningful combat content because of so called anxiety 😅😂😂
There's no pay to win power creep here, as long as kuro games stick to it like they've done with punishing grey raven, if you are super low spender or just f2p, there's really is no rushing tryna max star the current end game, in 1.0 version if anything most players are just time gated due to lack of resource to lvl up character/talents, if you're caught up honestly just casually play the game till we get to 1.1 for more content imo.. just play other games on the side :) don't burn out.
Ok I'm sick and tired of genshon players thinking there's a "powercreep" in Kuro games. As a long time PGR player, there's none of that garbage. In wuwa it's the same. It's how gear your resonators and YOUR skills. Kuro made each char unique so you can choose which works for YOUR playstyle. If you're not dishing enough damage, either you need to work on the gearing, the team or you just suck using that character, choose again. To this day in PGR my main physical attack is an A rank(equivalent to a 4 star) released year 1. He got a rebalance like all other year 1 constructs. No character will be left behind in Kuro. So stop saying this garbage to make people have FOMO for the future banners. It's sickening. This is why I stick to listening to long time kuro content creators playin wuwa. They KNOW.
Unpopular Opinion: Standard banner characters should never be considered meta. At all.
Only time a standard character of any character ages well is when they're support. They are meant to start the game for you, not stand by forever.

i have verina, encore and jianxin from the standard...and I don't use them at all lolollol

I got Yin Lin at 35 pity and Jiyan at 31 because I was trying to get some constellations for Danjin and Mortefi.
As far as I'm concerned those 31 wishes were still a waste in by book because that guy will be irrelevant in 3 months,
I'll give Jinhsi 6 months Max.
