@@ghistecyk8733 i was even trying to get the AEG version somehow but thats proven to be unfruitful. really wish theyd come out with a new one. it seems as though the 7 1/4 miter is being phased out around me... hopefully a replacement coming soon?
I wonder if TTI Emerson licensed the sander from Robert Bosch Corporation or did the Ridgid brand set them selves up for a lawsuit. I have the same sander in the Bosch brand. The Bosch version came out 3 or 4 years ago in the US market.
I'm a woodworker want-a-bee and have very small hands and arthritis. I greatly appreciate the efforts that Ridgid is making to reduce the bulk and weight of their tools. I wish they would send me one to test out for them!
Where, or when can I purchase these new Sanders ? The attached links are for the two old Sanders. Also, do you know the release date of the 4 Amp Max output Exp battery release date ?
The Flex compact bandsaw is the best made on the market hands down. It also has the blade offset by 1-1/4” so you can cut continuously at that width or less lengthwise. I used it to cut apart thousands of feet of metal grating.
Why we haven’t got the Dcn920 vs Milwaukee video? It seems like nobody even knows it’s been released. If it’s functional, durable, and no jamming issues it’s the best thing since sliced bread.
Don't know about the ridgid 2, but I do commercial hvac, and my peers get kinda mad that I have a lot of shit (for cheap) that they don't have. BTW, the brushed compact band saw is on clearance for $100. Way better for cutting fan motor shafts than a damn recip or grinder with cutting wheel. Plus, I fucked up 2 batteries by getting them wet. You register, they replace.
Love the hell out of the original bandsaw, i think the old battery design with the battery over the to give extra weight for cutting. Plus you can adjust the blade tracking where the Milwaukee you are unable to
Good everybody needs to adopt that design of sander. Makita just came out with their 40 volt Sanders of this style but the battery clips to your belt and has a short cord
Where's the 18v mower. They got the rest of the OPE. Seriously just borrow the ryobi 20" 18v dual battery mower, or even the single battery 16". They have the blower and string trimmer, it really wouldn't be hard to round out the lineup with a mower option
A potential problem with these sanders design might be that having the battery hanging off of the side will add an uneven force on the sanding surface (the weight of the battery pressing down on that edge), which could cause some uneven sanding. It could possibly even cause swirl marks from the heavier edge pressing down into the work surface. Even pressure is kind of important when sanding flat surfaces. An additional problem that could result is that it might cause additional fatigue on your hand and wrist if you have to keep holding pressure on your wrist rotating forward to offset the downward tilt from the weight of the battery on the back. The bigger the battery, the worse the issue would be.
Need a new slide switch grinder like the octane that doesn’t turn off every 2 seconds like the last version did! The slide switch is a must for tile guys and I refuse to pay 150 for a used octane on eBay. Wish I had bought one when they were in stores
I have a few ridgid corded tools and beat them to hell. Never failed me. I love ridgid but have never used the battery version. I ended up going with dewalt because of the options. I would love to one day try the 18v line and possibly own them.
So now we have 2 - 18v ridgid bandsaws and both of them cut at 2.5 inches ? Will they just come out with a bigger cut already
I’m still waiting for a 10” cordless miter, and a cordless table with rack and pinion fence. If they can release those soon that’d be amazing
Yes!! If not soon I’ll have to jump to another brand with those available!! Table and miter saws!! Let go!!
@@winnersk8 they wont do, they went to delta go for corded solutions.
Yeah, AEG already has a 10" miter with dual 18v setup. Since TTI is producing that now I'm not sure why they aren't making a Ridgid version available.
I agree 100%. I will be switching to Milwaukee for 18v soon if Ridgid doesn't come out with something.

Ridgid borrowing RO sander design cues from Bosch...
Those. Sanders like very similar to the Bosch sanders

Smeeshed, love me some new Ridgid!
Wooo Ridgid 😩 want the bandsaw so bad
Ridgid has Welders … 😳

I'll put it together
I’m one of those Rigid fans. Thanks Bro!
You got it nanney 👊
Nice! Love to see some new tools. Thank you for the video!
And thank you for the awesome comment Patrick 👊👊👊

the random orbit sander looks like it would tip over if you use a 4ah or 6ah bat-ray.

I agree I really want a dual 18v mower!!
I want a right angle die grinder!

Finally, tools. Lamps are not tools, they are just that, lamps.
Try working in the dark. Lamps become tools pretty quick.
I like me Ridgid twols!!!
I knew you'd like it Ridgid Ron!👊
It’s seems like they’re going more of the palm sander route and I like it
Let's see if they only sell online, because lately so what do their tools sell, only online.
I agree, they definitely need to up their lineup at the deeps
The fact Ridgid is getting a brushless sander again and milwaukee has yet to release one in their M18 platform is embarrassing.
Milwaukee been falling down hill on a lot of things.
They launched a bunch of new lights that no one heard about
If I didn’t already have five ridgid lights I would buy the area light and the new magnetic one
Yep, I did a video on them. Attached to the end of this video 👊
I want them to make a 30-34 degree air framer
Very cool
😎⚒️😎⚒️😎
I'm first and that's real nicelike 😊
Well now, that really is real nass like 81!!!
