In my opinion, you sir are an incompetent reviewer. Organ music is an extremely narrow focus. You miss the decay, attack, and dynamics of cymbal hits drums vibrato of string instruments, I could go on and on but I’ve made my point. Good by, and good day sir.
I don't review anything with less than 30,000 hours of listening time but I do like hearing things in my music that even dogs can't hear so that takes time.
I stopped buying hifi magazines back in the early nineties, when a reviewer said that black-tack sounded better than blu-tack as speaker mounting isolation.!!! Fabulous review.
Well, I was shocked and disgusted initially at your video, but after trying what you suggest, I now listen exclusively to organ music at 200db! Thank you, Scientific Audiophile! Subscribed 👍
The official amp of the zoomer who got shoved into the closet at the estate sale as the 60 year old resellers pushed past him towards the Sansui 9090 that they listed for $500 and proceeded to bid it up to $3k in 5 minutes. It's a good plan B and at least he didn't get COVID or blow out his speakers listening to only the purest analog vinyl at 150db.
Audiophilles savoring organ music is how I know they care only about equipment. After 30 years of appreciating classical music, I own 1 CD of organ music and I listened to 60 seconds of the Toccata and Fugue before turning it off and never playing it again. They also LOVE Janos Starker playing the Bach Suites on Mercury Living Presence.
Actually it’s about 4.57 kHZ, so you’re spot on. There’s just a slight loss of airiness, as if the bouquet is a day too old and just past its prime bloom.
@@scientificaudiophile i have a dac with xlr out is that not a big plus . i am thinking about buying a used one with still warranty at half the price of a new 1200 in Iceland
My final comment is if you put this Yamaha up against a properly working Sansui 717, 719, 917, or 919, the Sansui will sound better in my opinion and experience.
No this was a Vin Gris! It just had that timbre to me 😂. Anyway its shocking that people don't get your humor, I love it. Please roast these clowns more, you've left iut Guttenburg and he is sooo ripe for it. But Jay I, especially his earlier videos are so easy to make comedy from, he condricts himself consistently.
Off couse you rate it as Rosé when you play pink noise for over 1000 hours😂. Any way it was very funny. I would like you to review varoius speaker cables if you live that long to finnish it 😉
Not trying to be funny, but glad you enjoyed it. We are working on a speaker cable blind test that meets all the demands of @AudioScienceReview so subscribe and stay tuned. They weren’t happy after we destroyed Amir using a simple scoring system on our video Cables Matter - Audiophile Proof ua-cam.com/video/EPavjwEBYEg/v-deo.html
Ok, I will subscibe. But for God sake, don´t test the cables. But I have some advices regarding wine. If you drink white wine instead, the sound will be much brigther and clearer or with champane the sound will sparcling more.
I owned half of this amp, the A-S1100, and I found it a very hard amp to love. It regularly made me mildly miserable with it's joyless presentation and, I have no other word for it, the lack of bass.
I would suggest a better pair of speakers. The 1100 is an excellent amplifier. I don't have test results for the S1100, but the next iteration, the S1200, is flat as a ruler from 20 - 20khz audio.com.pl/testy/stereo/wzmacniacze-stereo/3331-yamaha-a-s1100
it is a shot at all audiophiles who create a sport of basically doing nothing and tell the world they are doing something. Same as laying on the couch and testing chocolate or wine.
Excellent idea. Further refine the rating system by the brand of wine as well. That would give viewers the detail they crave. Thanks, we’ll see if we can incorporate this into our future videos.
Your neighbors are saints except for the idiot one who loaned his new A-S220 to you. Would you like to borrow my new Yamaha A-S3200 to review? I'll even give you a case of MD 20/20 which is a necessity whilst playing with ones organ [music]. Since it's obvious you are a lover of fine wine and J.S. Bach may I suggest titillating your auditory nerve with the LP 2001: A Space Odyssey?
Well, first, I need to say, unless I’m completely insane. The reviewers said a number of things which I found very ambiguous and confusing and somewhat mentally deranged If you ask me. first off, you borrowed the unit to review, but you didn’t inform the person you borrowed from that you needed two years to do, so am I mistaken? Is that what he actually said? Secondly, sounds like he’s micro dosing on mushrooms the way he described perceiving the Yamaha integrated. sometimes there’s dullness sometimes there’s detail sometimes a veil lifts to find another veil. me-particular, but wait tillnext time where I give you another review it’s kind of a non-review review. I feel like he’s secretly a Goth and this was his non existent review.

Until you understand Diane Bish, you simply have no idea.
Good grief. Scott needs counselling😂
Oh my god. This guy may be one of the greatest hidden comedians of our time.
Couldn’t agree more with this review. I could clearly hear the signature Yamaha sound… unmistakable even through my iPad speakers!
I don't review anything with less than 30,000 hours of listening time but I do like hearing things in my music that even dogs can't hear so that takes time.
Yamaha and a bottle of Malbec ordered and delivered by Friday this week. Thanks!! Best review ever.
I can hear negative frequencies. Top that!

Great review of this entry level motor cycle.
He's The Greatest! I want more!!
You, OCD Mikey and Jay's Audio banging it.
Brilliant (and hilarious) review!!
Does it have enough power with the least harmonic distortion in order to create a pressure wave, flatten buildings and still sound crisp clear?
That was golden, even though I merely have silver, no, check that, bronze ears.
Oh, I LOVE Oregon music. Oregon music is probably the best out there!
Genius delivery, subbed 👍
amazing video as always
Thanks again!
For an extremely thorough review, I like to push amplifiers to the point of failure & then return them to my neighbor.
That's really the only way. Very smart.
It takes less time for me to review someone else's speakers, they usually blow up the first day.
LOL!
Damn, for the majority of the video I thought you were serious and a complete tool too. Well played sir, you certainly had me fooled :D
Well... actually he is serious ;)
😂
Hilarious stuff! Make more of these.
For more organ music choices try Delvon Lamarr's organ trio or Lefties soul connection, you can thank me later.
😂 lol . I would buy a ticket for your stand up audio reviews. Nice one.
Are you going to review the Yamaha R-N2000A?
No plans at this time.

You didn't tell us anything about the amps rhythm, pace or timing.
“Wow” I would hate to have one of those $3,000 “POS’s”
You're an absolute winner using a $3K amp free for 2 years. God have mercy on your neighbor's soul.
Love it. Keep up the great reviews.
McIntosh should hire you as their spokesman
YES!!!!!!!
I find that this amp sounds a little harsh between 4.4-4.7khz range.

do you recommend it
It is a great piece of equipment, but if you can do without the meters, save some money and get the 1200.

If you aren't listening at Krakatoa decibel levels are you even listening?
Are those audiophile wines or just big box wines from the supermarket?
Kirkland’s Own Cardbordeaux
Wise ass or dumb ass? I don't know, but for sure he's hilarious!
My hearing is so good, I could hear your neighbor fart while he was knocking at your door.
Are you freaking serious? This is satire right? I've never laughed so hard in my life Thank you for the comedic relief!
Nothing on my channel is anything but 100% serious. No satire, no comedy, just pure audiophile bliss.
Nice intro, so, where is the review?
We reviewed its sound at 8:17 into the video and even rated it as "Rose D'anjou". Thanks for watching.

@@bengtekman8616 That’s absolutely true. A reason one must carefully choose their wine to balance out their audio components.
If you start reviewing wines, then I might be hitting the ''subscribe'' button.
So detailed it feels vague
I couldn’t agree more. There’s a point where you hear so much of what is on the recording that you lose focus of the instruments.
What? You mean you can't hear DC to light like stereophile reviewers? Michael Fremer thinks he can hear clouds scraping and other dimensions.
That's because Fremer can hear clouds scraping other dimensions.
Reviewing the neighbors product for 2 years is the funniest part. Playing pink noice and only organ music ….
scientific indeed.
Yeah but did you hear Laurel or Yanni ????
My amp actually sounds sarcastic. You get what you pay for. SO I am in the market for a more expensive one.
What about people who don't drink any alcohol but like some weeds listen to music.
So you’re telling me you listen every product for thousand hours interesting how old are you
What part of 'borrowed my neighbor's for 2 years' did you miss to think this was going to be a factual review?

if you like organ music try out vamp anthem by playboi carti

You lost me with the claims of hearing to 60kHz.
My question is...why should his opinions on anything that involves my much inferior sense of hearing relevant to me?
