He and Eddie had such a great relationship, I lost my dad about 5 years ago and it hurt but I had almost 40 years with my POPS and it breaks my heart that Wolfgang had to lose Eddie so young, I'm 44 now and still wanna have kids and if I do I would love to play music with them, my dad was a self taught guitarist but unfortunately I didn't learn to play before he passed but I'm trying to learn bass now, maybe when I make it to Heaven My Pops Eddie and I can all rock out together, Fly With The Angels Eddie🎸

Strange but beautiful feeling to know that my father was listening to Van Halen when they entered the scene in the 70's, and now I'm here in 2020 listening to Eddie's son and watching as he enters the scene. I'm sure Wolfgang will have an amazing career ahead of him and I'm glad I get to join in on the ride from the very beginning!

Wolfgang was on bass/vox when I saw Van Halen at the Boston Garden in 2007. What a great performance. He didn't miss a beat filling Michael Anthony's very competent shoes. I'm sure when the time is right he will be able to perform "Distance" in much the same way the great Gordon Downie was eventually able to perform "Fiddler's Green." I am super stoked Wolf is continuing to make meaningful music. I can't wait to see how his gift evolves!

Shoot Wolfie is gonna be just fine. His dad is why I started playing guitar. My names Eddie also so no I'm not that fan. Music isn't a competition. He's got his own style. I ain't gonna lie. This new song had me broke down. I couldn't imagine what he's going through. Eddie changed the guitar so much. It all kinda started with Les Paul Leo Fender another guy Bigsby. Here come Eddie and a guy Floyd Rose. These two took parts from others to make one. The Frankenstrat! I've got 2 daughters a little younger than Wolfie. They are waiting on the Mammoth album. Id like to hear a collaboration with his uncle Al. You know All can play piano to. I think it would be really cool to see what they came up with. Like them playing different instruments. There is never going to be another Van Halen. However. Al is family. Eddie said music you don't retire. You play till you can't. Al and Wolfie. Yeah that's be pretty cool.

It made me listen to all of their stuff again and appreciate that is was SO good. I didn't feel like this when any other celeb besides Princess Diana died. Funny to think of EVH and Pricess Diana in the same light, but those are the two celeb deaths that have made me cry on several occasions. I understand your parents did some amazing work on you for you to be the man you’ve turned into be. No reason to be nervous, stay strong for the weak, let arrogance go around you, welcome humility, and block hate so the meek can pass behind you. Your pops was a national treasure and a complicated soul. He was so loved by so many and you will be too! He knew what he needed to do with you cause he knew he was leaving. And from what I see he did an amazing job preparing you, he knew.

He comes across just as softly spoken and just as nice a guy as his Father was. It's blatantly obvious to me that his father was/is his hero and the Van Halen name in music will continue for generations to come.

Just going through something like that privately as a regular Joe is grueling. Everybody handles the situation differently, but I do commend you on how you're holding it together man just keep moving forward. Onward and upward. I graduated in 1984 and I can't overstate how much your dad's band but how much especially your uncle influence to me. 5150 was epic as well. He never looked like he was ever sick of it or became a slave to the industry that's because he had control and his love for music and the instrument so much nobody could touch it or take it away from him hang tight brother..

Listening to Wolf speak he sounds just like Eddie there is no difference in their voices.I have such respect for him as a musician and singer and son.

Eddie gave us the music obviously. As a guitar guy, he gave us the 5150 and the signature guitars named Wolfgang. But he never told us how this kid can sing! We all figured he could play obviously, but that voice man! Eddie left us one more gift!
