Technically it is a bullpup as the action is behind the trigger, I believe that’s the definition. A lot of bullpups are just full rifle actions in short stocks and you end up with the bolt by your ear, like my gamo boxer an flash pup but I don’t mind
Yeah, the Hatsan flashpup is a perfect example of that. Brocock have decided to call these and several others, Semi-Bulpups. I can't see why they wanted to start a whole new category. It is still a good rifle, whatever they want to call it. Thanks for watching.
I think you'll love it, i hung out for the HR model because I was raving for one and they were due too release it a few months after I got the urge to buy the original, anyway, it's my go to gun for the range and squirrel popping ( go too, as in favourite) smacks heavy spinners round at 30mtrs with ease on level one ( chronographed at 6.5fpe with 9.56grn pellets) yes there's a bit of hold over needed, but makes it interesting... I know it will differ from gun to gun but - - - - - 1 = 6.5fpe 2 = 9.2fpe 3 = 11.6fpe Little bit industrial on the trigger, but you get used to it.. Build quality is very good, the carbon bottle is good for well In excess of 250 shots ( never really counted, but can be at the range for 4 and an half hours with need for a fill..) magazines are OK, but had a bit of a problem with cycling with quite a few different types of pellets, plus, the new one my daughter bought me for my birthday shows a difference in accuracy.. And at ( at the time) was best part of £60, OK it's not a million miles off, but noticeable.. All in all, I'd give it 7.5 / 10, it's great fun with the power levels, light ( ish) to cart about, reasonably quiet ( hammer noise is near yer ear) very accurate.. Will be good for 250+ shots easily, even the non Huma regged version..
@@markhomer5704Hi Mark, thanks for the insights. That's interesting about the new magazine. I think I'll get one, so I'll look out for a change in poi. Thanks for watching.
This review was super helpful, thanks
You're welcome, thanks for watching.
Yes I agree, definitely a Marmite gun, personally, I like it 😊👍
There seems to be a lot of these acquired taste guns around. I've got another one coming up soon. I'm not even sure if I like it.
Thanks for watching.
