We use a 5 gallon bucket to hold the oil. Then run 1/4" copper tube into the wood stove and adjust the flow with a shutoff valve. Then start a wood fire and let the oil drip onto the wood as it burns.

Put your fuel line inside of a draft air tube that blasts directly into the pot. It will roar like a blow torch and the oil line stays cool so it doesn't clog up with coke and carbon.

Нужно подготовить масло, что бы тнвд не угробить, в Бразилии все ездят на "биотопливе", оно у них дешевле дизеля. Надо погреть масло, добавить щёлочь и метаноо, на выходе получите глицирин и биодизель. Еще, надо избавиться от воды ( прогнать через кашачий наполнитель), ну и желательно устроить отдельный бак с подогревом ( решить проблему вязкости при низких температурах). Более перспективно использование отработки, прогнав её через центрифугу и фильтра. У меня старый как мамонт диз. движок ( простойтнвд, чугунный блок и ГБЦ), он на любом "гавне" поедет, но я лью самую дорогую соляру на заправках, хочу проехать на нем 1млн км без капиталки, как заложено японскими конструкторами... Подумаю о сборе отработки, когда припекёт))) А про 2й авто, проглот ( 3,2л атмосферник), можно подумать, перегонять из метана ( природного газа), этанола. Установка не сложная, но взрываопасная.""Пока" езжу на пропане, на метан переходить не хочу, да и места лишнего в багажнике нет.

The US Army has heaters like this. Normally use diesel but one time we used jet fuel. Jet fuel burns hotter. It’s interesting to wake up at 3 am to your smoke stack glowing red.

i been seeing alot of recommended videos lately about waste oil - used motor oil sawdust stoves , im sure they work great if their maintained regularly ,i have a couple questions to anyone who has or uses one, assuming theirs a blending method what would be your recommended preparation, ideal mixture/consistency for final product ? Describe how the burntime differs between different types of materials, they have a smell when it burns?, im thinking of putting one together on a smaller scale to heat up the garage over the winter months , any recommendations or tips i would love to hear from whomever uses one how well they work , greatly appreciated
And then your shop smells like a greasy spoon diner. Good way to start a massive grease fire too. I just use recycled trees. Once theyre cut down and dead they make perfect renewable fuel. You just plant more. The fuel literally grows on trees !
waste oil isn't going to just disappear.....burning for heat is best way to upcycle it instead of dumping an environmental hazard......its called efficient use of your resources you should try it sometime

If waste oil gets to cold it won't flow threw 1/4 inch tubing . Upgraded to 5/8 works great . Watch out for the vent getting to hot . Cherry red vent is not good . Running to high turn it down .

When i was 9 we had a oil heater in our camp trailer that worked almost exactly like this so I dont get the oh its so new and special that old heater even had a side mounted oil heater so you could burn #4 cruid oil if you wanted but i bet know one knows how cheap that is because it is basically the way it comes out of the ground no refining to amont to much.
What color is CRUDE oil, if you don't mind me asking? When I was a young boy (3 - 5yrs old), I went with my grandfather to get coal dropped from the sky into the back of the truck/LOADED FASTER THAN YOU COULD, SNEEZE!! I'd snow shovel it thru the basement window to our coal, furnace. I've never seen any CRUDE oil, even though I've seen those crazy looking pumps along side the road (s) jusssst pump pump pumping, away?✌️
Could also drip the oil onto something that gets it better air flow to improve initial lighting rate, seems you had to really go at it with your torch.
when I was a mechanic for a guy and his garage and towing service he was constantly busy and in the winter time in New Jersey it gets cold and it snows and it messes up the roads so not only your Towing people out you're plowing to get people out. this guy was making good money but he work for it so did we in the garage and you're Contraption there reminds me of our heating source in our garage it did have something to do with oil but it would be illegal today what man did it get that garage hot and that we didn't have a 55 gallon drum we had a square box we made Steel put a brick in it we had a 30 gallon drum empty of course and we put our fire blocks in the bottom put a piece of 10 on top and we would start the flame and the oil would come out of the steel square box we made by turning a handle just like you do any oil comes out real slow you want more oil if you get more heat I used to have that 30 gallon drum glowing red boy when I go outside clean up front by the gas pumps and stuff and then the sidewalk and when anybody busting their ass and we pump gas we did everything we fix cars we pump gas we sold cigarettes and oil and stuff like that but when it was super cold outside we were glad to get in that garage because it would heat the whole thing the office the front and the two days cuz we had a fan behind it and it would push the air down plus the fans we put ceiling fans in the bay doors in The Bays and it would push the hot air back down in the shop and it who it was toasty and everybody yeah your idea is cool it's a real old one but it's nice to see you using cooking oil it's better.
Used ATF-transmission oil burns the hottest. Oil from a diesel engine burns the coolest. If your feeder barrel is mostly ATF you need to be very careful and keep a close eye on the feed rate/burn temp. If you use the normal feed settings you can burn a shop down from it getting too hot. That's how we almost melted through our 1/2" thick cast iron liners in the burn chamber of the stove. We caught it before it melted through, but it warped it enough that it made the stove unusable.

can you explain the utility of the saw blades? Im assuming the bottom one is what is used as a vaporizing plate, and the upper one is toooooo.... dispurse the flame all around in a 360 deg radious?
I needed some thin metal to get red hot quick. Also to direct and absorb some of the flame. once red hot the incoming oil has to change state to gas and ignite. The blades were blunt and a good candidate for the burner. I need to contain enough heat for combustion. oil flow and air flow look after the rest. hope this helps Cheers Gerry
It's only free if you have an unlimited amount of used oil laying around. Of course here in the South we deep-fry everything, so it wouldn't be a problem.😅

@@zaourikorelidis5000 я собирал аналогичную систему на отработке. Отработка должна быть чистой, без включений и воды или же постоянно подавать воду в пиролизный центр. Такую систему без присмотра не оставишь.

Yeah I loved those heaters. You can take out the internals and replace them with a regular grate system and they'll burn wood just fine too.
Jet fuel has less energy per volume vs. diesel. Even if it's like 2%

хрен ли там сверлить? Берёшь сверло по кафелю, сверлишь и охлаждаешь. Если диаметр недостаточный, то растачиваешь шарошкой.

Can be cost prohibitive but With the right equipment you can burn anything for heat .
I understand it's free oil. But if you could get more air to your flames, it would burn cleaner and you could get more heat and less smoke.

Отработка должна быть чистой, без включений и воды или же постоянно подавать воду в пиролизный центр.
Такую систему без присмотра не оставишь.
