I wish they would bring back the Riders series as I like the different approach Sonic Team took to the racing genre instead of copying the same thing other kart racers did. I like how they tried to stand out. Best of luck to the developers who are putting this together. This could encourage Sonic Team to return to the Riders formula.

something i'll say about the gear, you don't have to be a big expert to appreciate some of them while they have intricacies that are probably more suited for expert interests, a good chunk of them have new gameplay mechanics that may be fun to play with even in a casual standpoint, like Gravity Cannon having a very expensive SUPER boost that just launches you at mach 10, Advantage-S basically being the running on foot mode, Hovercraft/Cloud having constant ice physics, and my personal favorite, Super Hang On which can't refill air fuel from tricks, but doubles pit stop speeds there's tons to play around with and I highly encourage playing with the interesting and sometimes even gimmicky stuff
hope to see you in a beginner tournament or in the netplay chat one day! we'd be more than happy to give you some tips and tricks on how to get better times like boost chaining and some of the easy skips in the game. also, you dont have to hold jump for fly ramps lol.

One thing I noticed about the Super forms is that they don't chug rings like Super Sonic did in Riders. Makes him and the new supers more viable and avoids the initial turn off of seeing your rings vanish into thin air.

It’s a shame SEGA is afraid to revive this series. I swear if Sonic Riders was to come out today, it would be one of the popular racing titles out there.
I sure would like to play this. But, it's a mod of the Gamecube version, and I don't want any Nintendo code on my computer. Why they didn't mod the PC version instead is beyond me.
Finally, Riders is getting the attenction it deserves, i remember playing it on my Ps2 with my family, it was extremely cool and fun, i remember trying to unlock everything on the game, and the ending CGI cutscene, oh my, that was the best part in the game, with that dope song playing in the background; such nostalgic. Edit: There is also a fan remaster of Sonic Riders, Sonic Riders X, you should make a video about it!
was the orignal games ending where Sonic and Jet race each other, on the highway, or was it, where sonic and jet kinda zoom past each other in different directions

I like Sonic Games to have a mix of old and new stages and, aside from Forces Speed Battle, Rivals 1 and Drift 1, we never saw anything Green Hill in a Sonic racing game.
I hope you can change the music to whatever is preset. I also hope I can play as Tikal. She's so obscure so I doubt it, but chaos is in it... The music mod seems more probable.

You can press B when at the Main Menu to navigate back to the title screen. They just don't force you to view it everytime you load the game.

It's possible in theory now, but we won't be doing that anytime soon. The 2.X series of patches won't include any new tracks.

The title screen isn't gone, it's just skipped upon starting up the game. You can actually go to the title screen by pressing B on the main menu.
