It’s been a month since I’ve cut off my muffler of my 2017 CIVIC EX and honestly it’s perfect. I will say after a couple weeks you might get bored of it and might start think of doing a resonator delete. But I think sticking with just a muffler delete is the perfect way to go in my opinion.
svtadrian how is it 2x more riceyier? That's an unneeded mod to the lancer and all he's doing to he civic is making it sound nicer it's not extremely loud like a hatch civic
Did you keep the muffler? Hopefully you did because if you want to sell it. Honda will charge you $$$ to get a new one rather can going to a muffler shop to get the old one out back one (muffler delete revert)
If you modify your muffler in the state of California in any way that isn't certified you'll be ticketed regardless of decibel. In regards to it's decibel im not to sure, but compared to my subaru it is pretty quiet. I think you will have no trouble

Lol I remember going to speedway muffler in Fontana. They do a great job with installs. Especially with welds. Sadly they’re not in Fontana anymore. You mentioned upland. That’s probably where they moved to lol. To be honest, it sounds kind of bad. Better to get a cat back. For our cars, there really aren’t a lot of aftermarket options that sound that good. eeshunique Muffler deletes don't do anything since they're at the end of the exhaust. You could run no exhaust at all and still be fine as long as it's behind the cat.

Better to get it done at a muffler shop though because they got the tips and some exhaust stuff readily available than a cheap crappy place like pep boyz. Ghetto.

j 7 yupp, muffler deletes may also damage the vehicle in a long run due to the amount of pressure trying to escape through one skinny piping with no airflow I got a Magnaflow catback exhaust which you can view on my page this exhausts adds more echo and bass to the noise and most importanlty it adds mpre airflow than a stock ex t giving it a small amount of HP to it (5-8hp) you can also hear the turbo spoolong and small crackles wich gives it a sportier touch look into your local muffler shop to see what they can do to that straight pipe muffler delete
Julio Delgado Wrong Sir. When they do the delete and add a new tip they add you pipes if your car needs new pipping. That’s what they did to my old civic, I needed bigger pipes because of not enough air flow with skinny ones.
