Nobody that has METAL background music is "Semi-Square", ya'll ROCK! So does seeing walls go up.
Thanks Tim! We love rocking out! 🎸
Happy Birthday Brenda!! 🎉🎁🎂🎈🌻
Thank you Karen 😊
Staying connected to neighbors is important too !
Love the music! 🤘🎸🤘🎸
😃Rock On🤘🏼 🎸🥁
Happy birthday Brenda! It looks like beautiful waterfalls and the beauty of God's creation in northern Idaho made it a very special day for you. Always enjoy watching the progress as you continue to make your homestead a reality. God bless! 🙂
Thank you Donald! That day was absolutely wonderful. God gives such beauty. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a blessed day.
The bump out looks good! Those falls are beautiful! What an amazing way to spend your birthday!
It’s coming along 😁 All of the waterfalls up here are amazing.
She’s right in the path of a stray nail from that gun.
Thank you for the concern. Thankfully there were no stray nails!
It's coming along really good
😊 Thank you
Looking great. Walls are heavy in that state, but much lighter without sheathing them
Thanks Bob!
We’ve been to the area in Bonners Ferry you spoke about. The area north of Kalispell is wonderful. Be careful if you go a bit to far north and you’ll cross into Canada on those back roads from our “ experiences”. Happy Birthday Brenda..another day wiser! Enjoy!
I better take my passport next time 😃
Great progress! You guys are such an inspiration!
Thanks so much!
A lot of progress for 1 day! Can't wait to see how it turns out
Thank you
Another great video you guys! It’s nice watching your family’s work/life balance. Keep it coming 😁
Thank you very much 😊
Happy late birthday Brenda!! ❤
Thanks much! 💜😊
Happy Birthday!! How cold was that water? Being so hot these days, I'm sure the water was welcome relief. You know, a proper framing square (big L) is 1.5" wide and will reach across both bottom/top plates. You can layout the studs a lot faster with less measuring. Doing great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! The temp was probably in the 50’s. Wasn’t too bad that day due to warm temperatures. Thanks for your tips and watching.
Well done and a good progress. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you and thanks for watching!😀
Hey💜🧡
Looking great you guys!!!
Thank you!!
Just a couple of questions....
Did you ever look at Quonset Hut homes as an option? Model A and S Quonset Huts have straight side walls. Also, I believe you can order your kit with side windows.
I am looking at Arched Cabins, but like the two above things I mentioned.
If you looked at Quonset Huts and opted for an Arched Cabin, what was your rationale for the choice?
Just like to hear input as I check out my options. Thanks
Yes, we looked at the A and S model. I did't like the big dips in the sidewalls and it looks really industrial. There are a lot of screws for each panel as it is installed. Also, I think you have to pour a wide footer of concrete to secure the pieces.
I watched a video of a DIY builder who would never buy one again. It kind of changed my mind. The initials of the company is SM. However, the straight walls and windows would be nice though.
@@ChasingFreedomHomestead Thanks for your input. I agree it does have a very industrial look. I also heard that a concrete foundation would be needed. Good points.
Guess I missed it but what’s the bump out going to be??
We will be using it as a laundry room and storage.
Another great video you guys! It’s nice watching your family’s work/life balance. Keep it coming 😁
