It's kind of hilarious how much these vary. Superman? Punches you into space. Zod? Pushes you through the moon. Doomsday? Punches you all the way through the earth and back.
Harley Quinn? She puts an explosive pie under your feet.
...and that's why she has the weakest flat damage. As for the top of the mountain, Shazam holds the crown over Deathstroke with 39% to his 38%.

That was "explained" (for lack of a better word) in the story mode of the game and/or the comic version, with anyone who normally couldn't survive this kind of abuse (Batman, Catwoman, Harley etc.) taking what were essentailly "tough as a kryptonian" pills.
They needed SOME way to justify it I suppose XD

It does seem like there's some disparity among all of these super moves and their lethalities, though. Solomon Grundy slashes you, chokeslams you and breaks a tombstone over your head. Contrast that to General Zod slamming you through the frickin' _Moon_ before he laser-blasts you back into Earth at terminal velocity.
I'll take my chances with Solomon Grundy, thanks.

One thing that kinda bugged me in Injustice: Gods Among Us, is that these Super Moves, No matter where you fight, some of them always have an Earth in a semi-cinematic moments, even in spite of some of the locations don't even take place on Earth, like the Watchtower. Flash, Doomsday, Sinestro, General Zod, Lex Luthor, and Superman, (and presumably Hawkgirl, and SHAZAM, and Batgirl) all have these kind of Super Moves.
Batgirl for instant when she was doing her special move she aim her grappling hook upward to go hop but she was outside and on too of a roof and yet still went high enough to reach to sky.
You DO serve a good point that I don’t know how to explain.
I feel like shazam's isn't really earth just clouds.
It's cinematic.

Catwoman's and Deathstroke's moves are in my opinion the most brutal. I mean when Catwoman brings them down on their neck with the whip and then claws their face and then Deathstroke impales them with his sword and then unloads a whole magazine into them is just so fucking awesome. Lobo's move is just badass though lol.

Bane's redesign was one of the things I actually liked in Injustice 2. He seems a bit more nimble and leaner but still just as strong.

I've always liked the super moves from Injustice more than Injustice 2. They just feel so much more powerful in this game.
Everything feels so much more powerful in Injustice 1 than Injustice 2.

Yeah, I agree. Injustice had more punch than the second part.
What I noticed is that the camera in the second part is closer, so the combatants always stand closer together and take more of the screen while in the first part, they could be further apart and you saw more of the background crumbling.
There is also something to be said about the colour pallet being a little bit colder and the characters looking rougher in the first game. In the second, the colours are a bit warmer and I dunno, but more emphasis is put on their facial movement, which makes them look a bit weird.
Its just small things I noticed and I do suspect that that is the reason why they feel less powerful.
