I love how the fighters don't immediately KO after they suffer the super move, but get up and immediately fall down again, as if expecting a "Finish Him!" daze routine that got lazily cut off.

These moves are more brutal, but the Injustice 2 ones are more cinematic
While Solomon Grundy's super move may not be super spectacular, it has a couple of significant subtle things:
1: It's the only one you can use over and over again during a set period of time.
2: The tombstone is engraved with the name "Cyrus Gold" (Grundy's pre-death name) as well as his date of death taking place before his date of death.
I never realize that so may super moves are slamming your foe to the ground.
