About Me:
My name is David Hoffmann. Since starting David’s Been Here in 2008, I have traveled to over 1,400 destinations in 98 countries to experience and document unique cultures on my UA-cam channel, travel blog, and social media.
I highlight culture and historical sites, but my passion is food! I love to experience and showcase the different flavors each destination has to offer, from casual street food to gourmet restaurant dining.

super safe ;)
Even the locomotives in America are safe
Oh temple look awesome and love the food
I love your videos! Constructive criticism, the Asian background sound through out the video of Seoul and Busan are not Korean music. It’s Chinese and you might offend some viewers. To me it really stood out as a Korean myself. Also I noticed it for Japan video it’s the same music throughout the whole video. I wouldn’t take my time to mention it to you but I see you are very entertaining and I enjoy your channel and wish your channel to grow.
Much success thanks 🙏🏼
Hey there! 100% agreed and this has to do with music licensing. The catalogue of "Asian" music is extremely limited with the music licensing services I use and to be honest there is very little differentiation between the different genres of Asian music. African music is also very limited on this service as well. That said I've changed the style of music I use, but I do like to try and gets sounds of a particular region. I'll do my best to minimize this in the future and we are in complete agreement. Thank you for the comment bhvv2407!
Hope you have a Jeju one as well !!
Wow, what a diversity.
it's an amazing city!!
Good morning David: just watched your intro to this video and I see some creepy, crawly things. Should have squinted 😂😂😂. This one looks interesting and exciting so I will add more comments later. In the meantime, have a great Monday. Later gator ✌️❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦

In Buddhism, the practice of doing 108 bows or prostrations is considered a way to purify one's mind, body, and speech, and to cultivate humility and devotion.
There are various explanations for why the number 108 is considered significant in this context:
The number 108 is said to represent the number of passions or defilements that a person needs to overcome to achieve enlightenment. These include things like anger, greed, and ignorance.
There are 108 beads on a mala, which is a string of prayer beads used in many Buddhist traditions. Each bead represents a mantra or prayer, and doing 108 repetitions of a mantra is considered a powerful practice for cultivating concentration and devotion.
In astronomy, the distance between the Earth and the Sun is approximately 108 times the diameter of the Sun. Similarly, the distance between the Earth and the Moon is approximately 108 times the diameter of the Moon. This cosmic significance of the number 108 may have influenced its use in spiritual practices.
The number 108 is also considered sacred in many other spiritual traditions, such as Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism.
Overall, the practice of doing 108 bows or prostrations is a powerful way to purify the mind and cultivate spiritual qualities such as humility, devotion, and concentration. While the exact reasons for why the number 108 is considered significant may vary depending on the tradition, the practice itself is a profound expression of devotion and commitment to the Buddhist path; an ultimately enlightenment.
You guys have cultivated the seeds via 108 bows to Enlightenment. Best wishes to all ❤
I don’t know if it’s kimchi but it looks like cabbage…😢😅. Great video overall

welcome to busan
would Korean cuisine be your favorite in Asia?
I'm not a competitive eater at all but with respect. I probably would of eaten all that pasta in 10 minutes. I love pasta. You should of asked for extra parmesan cheese. Helps. All love.. love your videos.
Oh wow 5hrs since Yates lastt🤔 poor poor baby!! Considering where you're at
I like that you break down the prices in American 💰 money
I love crispy chicken 🐔 my favourite 😍.you can taste every mouthful um .🐔😍
You both can eat with the chop sticks beautiful
That dried squid from the baseball stadium is supposed to be eaten like American beef jerky. Just tear a little piece off and chew like tobacco. Basically instead of beef jerky, it’s basically squid jerky. It’s good drinking type food.
Love how much they eat in South Korea and sad knowing people in N. Korea are starving 😢
Oh geesh ordered Daves sauce...I will never eat hot sauce, texas pete, Red hot....never again, this sauce is so dang good !!!
@David why you want to laugh?? 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Lol, if there is something moving on my plate, "I'm out"!
❤
I’m so jealous right now, I wish I was back in Korea! I love it there the people are warm and friendly! The food and scenery is outstanding! David, how can you order Tteokbokki and not have a side of Sundae? You’re missing out! Also 1:42 I’m pretty sure that the veggie with stewed fish isn’t pumpkin but stewed Daikon. Yum! Excellent video!
yes i did have sundae on the side.. you didnt watch the whole video :)
@@Davidsbeenhere did all of these people watch 3 hours already or did they fast-forward to certain parts? 🤔🤔🤔 Seems like it since the lady said that you missed out on the sundae when you said that you had it.SMH
@@Davidsbeenhere I’ll have to go back, sorry David, Hope you enjoyed your trip
@@Davidsbeenhere how did I miss that? I must have been in a daze over the Tteokbokki yum! Sundae ( blood noodle sausage ) as a rule comes with chopped organ meats too not in the Tteokbokki sauce. I’m glad you pointed out that I missed that part! Love your channel 💖

韩国人引以为傲的泡菜🤣
Most of South Korea fast food are fillers, sauces, lots of sugar and salt with cheap meat like pork. Busan Jagalchi Fish Market - best known for eomuk (fish cakes) - you'll have fresh seafood (but also some weird seafood) you can eat it raw, steamed or fried. -
LOL what is it Americans and the word " SUPER " ..every food vlogger over uses that word ..consistently ... damn
Sorry but you are not a spice master. Spice master starts at ghost pepper and up. So please stop calling yourself that 😅
