His fights are intense 'bcoz' he has no powers. All the other heroes have superpowers, they can overpower almost all of their villains, but batman has to actually defeat them with both brains and brawns😄

To verify joker was the pale man, you only need the Joker card in the bat Cave in „Death of the family“.

Endgame was... Kinda romantic? In the end the joker wanted to live, and batman finally understood the joke. Huh. I like it.
It was. During the Death of the Family arc, The Joker is hopelessly in love with Batman, but Batman choses his family, which "breaks" the Joker heart, then Endgame was the revenge arc (I suppose?) where Joker, heartbroken and angry, he decides to end the heartache, Batman. Then in the end, Batman understoods the joke.
Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo did say that they did intend it to be romantic-ish ❤

Brian Zeidan I don't think it's real, like the other person mentioned, because Batman made a point that if Joker really was Pale Man and had the healing stuff in his spine, then joker wouldn't need the pit and he'd heal on his own. But it appears that, since the Joker was panicking and was trying to frantically make it to the pit, he was lying and he had none of the healing stuff in his spine and needed the pool to live.
-Edit: Actually, someone else made a good point in the comments that since his spine was broken, the dionesium leaked out and he needed the pool to live, which is why he was panicking and desperately crawling to the pool. But I'm willing to bet that it was a ruse from the joker; if not, however, it explains why he's so insane, being alive for centuries and all.
Joker having enhanced regeneration, speed and strength to actually Batman's skills *and* intelligence is horrific.

I would say that both the joker and carnage is two of the most twisted and sadistic villains in the whole dc and marvel universe like they are both really crazy and love to kill without reason and just for the plain pleasure of it

He was the pale man, eventually he tried becoming a comedian, then when that failed he turned to the Red Hood gang, and after Batman let him fall into the toxic waste it all hit him
his insanity from being immortal and failing being a comedian reached a point where he found a new purpose

Comicstorian I feel what your doing on UA-cam is so important. There are so many script writers who need to care as well as see what a good superhero story should be and your work makes it easily available to them. I hope one day your passion for comics is what makes these directors and screenwriters do the right thing and stop making comic book movies just about money. I am glad I'm not alone in my love for comics keep on fighting the good fight by keeping these stories alive.

I find the Joker harder to take when they write him as an actual Mass Murderer. It comes across as silly that nobody has killed him yet, and essentially irresponsible of Batman not to kill him. It's like when someone in a comic book universe, like tony Stark, has something in his lab like a flying chair that would fully change the entire way society exists. It kind of breaks the universe. Why wouldn't everyone have them? Why does that same technology not translate to every corner of society? In the case of the JOker, if he really is an escaped mass murderer, why isn't EVERYONE on a daily manhunt to find him? How could anyone sleep at night until he is dead?
