    Oil on skin, butter for hair?...balm and butter are same i guess?

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  Рік тому +1

      Yes sir! Oil is meant for the skin underneath the beard, whereas butter can kinda go everywhere. When I apply butter, I get it all the way down to my skin and then make sure to get it all through the beard as well! The difference between butter and balm - balm has wax, but butter typically does not.

    • @livebearded

    So what comes first, the oil or the balm? When, what time of day do I use them? After shower? Going out? Before bed?

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  9 місяців тому

      You'll want to do oil first down to the skin under the beard, then butter after that! You can really apply it any time you'd like! I do after the shower in the morning, then I usually do a little more butter in the late afternoon!

    • @dominiquereplogle735
      @dominiquereplogle735 Рік тому

      Speaking for myself, no. You don't want it on your pillow and sheets. If you shower in the morning, do it after. If you shower at night, don't when you get up, forat thing. Then it has time to soak in before your final touch up before you head out for the day.

    Live Bearded’s beard oil and beard butter are fricking awesome. The oil and butter just feel so good in my beard and the butter styles my beard great. Plus these guys at Live Bearded are pretty dam good company. I support them 100%. In the beginning of my beard journey I was all over the place with different beard companies, but Live Bearded is my number 1 go to company. I’m a cologne guy so I roll with the Straight Up Products, but I also have The Executive and The Legend scents for those non cologne days. Their customer service is top of the line and Spence puts out pretty good beard tutorial videos. Thanks fellas and Live Bearded

    Why do you need the oil and butter....it makes no sense to me?

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  2 роки тому

      Hey brother, great question!
      Despite its name, beard oil is actually for the skin on your face underneath your beard. It's designed to moisturize that skin since it tends to get dry and itchy, and it will add moisture without making your beard weird like standard skin moisturizers.
      livebearded.com/blogs/do-better/beard-oil-vs-beard-butter?_pos=3&_sid=6dc4a5e62&_ss=r
      Beard butter itself is for your actual beard, and is intended to style and soften the hair. It also provides hold for your beard styling. This is why we highly recommend both, even if you don't use our beard wash and conditioner. Our Leave-in Conditioner is also fantastic for overnight moisture for your beard.

But it doesn't affect the look of my beard and it's almost the same as losing baby teeth but obviously more frequent than teeth haha. As far as losing a lot at a time. I don't know , you may wanna check your diet and what products your putting in your beard. I'd also get an allergy test to determine if your allergic to ingredients in beard products. I myself am allergic to castor oil and coconut oil , and that's in a lot of beard products.

      We have a member on our team who rocks the patchy beard life too. Genetics does play a huge role in your growth as well. There are some options out there that can help grow your beard, but nothing is ever 100% guaranteed, (except our money back guarantee, #shamelessplug, 😂) Sometimes it's all about just embracing what you have and rocking it. A lot of men tend to give up too soon, especially of they have never grown a longer beard before. In most cases, the patches can be covered by the hairs that do grow in. Give it a 4 month trial and see where you're at and go from there!

    First time 40 year old beard grower here, how long does it take to grow out a quality beard like yours? Also, best product for combating the itchiness associated with facial hair?

      Everyone's beard is different, brother! Some can grow thick and long beards while others can only grow short patchy beards. Spence has had his beard for roughly three years. He shaved it all off when we launched the trimmer. As for the beard itch! Have to get some beard oil! We have a great sample pack that includes all four of our beard products along with all six fragrances. www.livebearded.com/sample
