Just found this channel and this is the 2nd video I've watched. I have to say... this is the best channel I've ever randomly stumbled across. I absolutely love everything about what I'm watching. I laugh, I cry, I learn, I'm obsessed.

I think MaX0r said it best about Micolash during his Bloodborne review: “Let me tell you something: the humanoid bosses in this game are, paradoxically, the most dangerous. But Micolash is a psychological hazard that will hurt you personally. This boss literally feels like cut content , because the fight centers around chasing him and his direction depends on RNG, making him an actual speedrun killer. When you corner him he uses -one attack- and then you chase him again where he gains the power to insta-kill you. God forbid you’re hit by that, because that’s ten minutes gone.”
Honestly I genuinely enjoy fighting Micolash. He isn’t that hard. I recently did him BL4 (video on channel if interested) You can manipulate his movements if you know where he’s gonna be after he jumps in the mirror. His Auger of Ebrietas can easily be strafed around and Call Beyond is just learning the timing to dodge. You can also hit him out of doing it by shooting him with bone marrow ash while he’s charging it up. That being said however, on my first playthrough I fucking hated him. Like what in the scooby fucking doo is this fight? Run run run run run etc omg what were the developers thinking?!? I grew to like him though once I figured him out. He’s a frustrating boss for sure but very satisfying how he whines like a little bitch once you kill him.

Ok so I don't think anyone explained the four kings boss in the comments so let me try to be the first: So the gimmick in the fight is that it spawns an infinite amount of kings, one ever 40 or so seconds. However, the boss is programmed so that there's a limit of only 4 kings being able to spawn in the arena, requiring at least one of them to die for the next one to spawn. During rhe fight, offscreen there's a single main king who takes damage each time one of the kings you're fighting takes damage. The gimmick is that the king has 4 times the health of the kings that spawn in the arena. HOWEVER, the "true" king actually has a little more than 4x the health of one of the regular kings, which is why sometimes you need to kill a 5th king if you didn't stab any of the first 4 while they were in the middle of their dying animations because that damage still counts towards the main boss's healthbar. However there's also a weird thing where thing where the true king can take more or less damage than the main kings, which can result in such silly situations as for example 16 kings, or more commonly 3 kings
Why, like genuinely who thought this was a good idea necessary enough to be implemented into the fight. Like I mean it's a cool quirk of the fight but what the hell

Fun fact about the Dragon god: you can actually tank a punch from him if your healthbar is beefy enough. It's pretty funny watching him trying to one shot you and just failing :)
I pumped Vitality all the way up to 50 to actually increase my Item Weight Limit to carry everything, so by the time I faced the Dragon God, my health bar was really big even in Soul Form with the Cling Ring. I just tanked his hits and used Moon Grass to heal.
Hex: “Fun” fact about Micolash is that he is also the most annoying boss to fight in the Bloodborne card game. They truly encapsulated the gimmick of “endlessly chasing this a*hole” by making his pasive ability being to infinitely restock monsters in the monster deck if the players do not defeat them, effectively delaying the game indefinitely. Because the Bloodborne card game is competitive and players have an incentive to not cooperate even if they fight the monsters together, this can lead to some obnoxious and unnecessarily long games. Not even anolog games can escape shitty gimmicks.
Even worse for me, the Ancient Wyvern apparently glitched out and died by itself before I reached the top, so I didn't even get the satisfaction of that plunging attack
My favorite wrestler gimmick was “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan just bringing a 2x4 with him and going “HUUUUUUUUH!” Surprised that no DS2 boss made the list, but great video!
That also make its easy to strafe around them. Those sword swings are so easy to just walk around if you get close enough. The only boss of which I am not scared to get up and personal. For the rest I tend to run but generally nowadays I tend to call Beatrice. For uptil NG+2 she is pretty reliable and I am not really into new game plus cycle except the first time because of how it ends.
To think that Rykard is the only great gimmick fight, where the gimmick is actually consistent with the rest of the game and has more complexity than other gimmick fights in the series. I guess it only took them 6 games of trial and error before getting it right.
This has been placed in front of my eyes, and I liked your funny words, videogame man. I will be back for more. Also there are a couple of pretty clear routes down to Nepenthes around the sides, I grind it for money when I get bored of the big walker.
The Bed of Chaos, by itself, took the last ~10 minutes of a 35-minute Top Ten video. Yes, I agree with this, and yes, it really is that bad. Amazing video Trae, well done, awesome song too.
Maybe not specifically a boss, but I can think of an enemy archetype that doesnt like you smashing their jewelry too much: a lich. Those bone bois are effectively just puppeting their body while their souls are tucked away nice and safe in whatever pot, necklace, spoon, etc they feel like using as a phylactery.
Wolnir wasting my time by making me chase his wrists around the area for 5 minutes makes me feel so much catharsis as I send him plummeting to the depths of the Abyss, jaw bone agape in a silent ghost of a scream.
Best trick to Nepenthes that makes his fall trivial is the fact that you can hug the corners of the man beams around the map, and if you do so it trivializes the missiles, keeps the enemy shots off you, and can generally let you fall at almost full speed so it messes with it's tracking. As for Micolash... poison daggers, my beloved.
Funnily enough I didn’t have any problems with Micodash, until a Call Beyond. I got his running down and could easily train him to phase 2’s room. I’d just always get one shot 😢
I can't say how good this timing is. My life is a big mess but this brought so much joy and happiness back into it. Everything will be alright thank you for the laughs

Most insulting thing in DS3 is that there are many gimmick bosses, and they set up like that so it's infinitely harder to fight them normally (without gimmicks.)
@@traeirbyDS3 has the worst boss of all time for me, who is a copy of old monk (Kinda innovative back then ngl and he returns as a invader in all DS games) which is halfight, he's insanely ass and unfair, depending on what player you get straight up impossible because they lag and take no damage... Almost made me throw my controller right through my tv screen every single run.
@@thex6992That has more to do with fact that players who are there are basically abusing the game mechanics and secondly they are cheaters. There was a time when someone like me had to turn off the online to get through this area. I only fight human player two times and that was enough for me. I wanted to finish the game not trying to waste my time with those die hards...
Ancient dragon is not even a Boss, but is an abysmal fight anyways In fact, you just listed my 3 most hated bosses made by fromsoftware, specific order: 3: bed of chaos 2: ancient dragon 1: dragon god
I mean, having watched a bunch of Ymfah's Dark Souls challenge vids, the easiest way to deal with Bed of Chaos is to just use the binoculars to look up, then chuck firebombs at the boss from behind their barrier. The devs left just enough of a gap at the top of the twisted net of branches to allow bombs to be thrown over.
Wolnirs bracelets are the only thing keeping the Abyss at bay. When you destroy them the Abyss claims him. Yeah. It’s a dumb gimmick, but it’s got Lore behind it
I honestly like them, if they’re done like twin princes and bed of chaos, but I hate bullshit gimmicks like summoning Velstadt, or teleporting in order to continue spamming magic.
Honorable mention: Half light; imagine the gimmick literally being the average host who is so afraid of the "evil red man", that he just summons phantoms constantly -despite literally using cheat stats, and still feels the need to run away and call his friends. And after all that you get absolutely nothing, and even the friends he summoned get completely ripped off, by giving them cool tools that are "parent locked". I don't know about anyone else, but at least the Curse Rotted Great wood has something of use. Ring City was filled with interesting enemies, and they chose this to be the opener to someone as cool as Slave Knight Gael 😬

There’s only a couple ways of redeeming the Elden Beast fight: let you use Torrent and let you summon Miriel who uses some kind of comet azur/black flame death beam because Miriel fucking rules… unlike this fight. Also, let us pet Torrent, dammit. Awesome video dude 😂
Hint: try to keep distance between you and the boss. His sword swings have such a huge recovery time you can run in, attack, and move back. By staying just a little bit away from it the beast is far less likely to run away and more likely to attack with its sword , which are also the easiest attacks to dodge. Its not perfect but in my experience the EB isnt nearly as bad as people say and i think the reason is people stay close to it for too long, which is why it moves away all the time
I think it's important to note that the Four Kings' weapons all deal more damage at their tips than their bases. I don't remember if they have another damage type that applies like, halfway down the weapon, or if they're just coded to deal more damage with certain parts of their weapons.
And that's a deliberate thing because once the other kings appear they always keep enough distance from you and won't rush you down like mobs. Another reason why you should take them down quickly.
The worst part about the Great Wood is that it is such a COOL DESIGN CONCEPT that is totally wasted. A massive skeleton that a disgusting rotted tree thing has parasitically grown inside and now puppets the skeleton? That's unbelievably cool, but instead it just... Makes it unable to stand right.
Well, I can tell you one thing man that means a lot to hear. I sincerely appreciate you saying that and I love getting feedback! What sucks about the Ancient Wyvern is that it can randomly decide to flap it's head around just before you plunge attack it, making it so you miss entirely and fall to your death. Now you have to do the runback again. Fun!
For Wolnir, its less the jewelry breaking that kills him as much as him getting dragged into the abyss when they aren't protecting him. My main issue is if you break 1-2 bracelets too fast and knock him back enough, he'll charge forward and probably insta kill you with the vape
You know, I completely forgot about the fact that he can just rush forward and Insta kill you like that it’s been a while since I did it. Oh man that crap pissed me off so bad when it happened to me
Well since you and all of us now know about Elden Beasts childhood trauma he never healed from, can we really blame him for hiding in a giant tree and running away from us? He probably thought you were his dad seeing you from afar :( I hope there aren't any giant squirrels on the tree tho...
I relate to the point about four kings' ranged magic attack being a pain in the ass. It was bane of my existence for quite some time, and I'm sure on melee runs it still will cause me problems and need a workaround. BUT, I found a way to beat it out whilst still continuing to do damage at range. The depth perception of it is tricky, but if you manage to dodge it to the right as it approaches you from ahead, you can then sprint in a semicircle around the back of it (so you'll be covered by it briefly on your screen) and sprint the opposite way, then it gets confused and takes a bit to turn around giving you time to fire 1 or 2 bow shots before it comes back around. When it comes after you again, you can do that trick again! this time dodging in front of it (towards the camera and a bit to the right) then circling around it. rinse repeat. then on its final approach if you keep kiting it then it will disappear and you just continued doing damage without having to sink time waiting it out I don't like having to sacrifice the ring slot in this fight, because I'd love to fight four kings with ninja flips enabled, but to do that it means I have to lose out on half my damage from RTS so it isn't worthwhile to swap it out
Hey brother hope all is well. I’ve watched all your videos and love the content, from an outside perspective it’s somehow feels different than the other videos like these in the best way possible. I will be apart of your journey to see u grow!
I remember when i failed a no death run in DS3, against the fucking wyvern, i did the plunging attack and for some reason it didn't registered, i just slided and died from the fall
Gimmick bosses are so hit or miss with me and it annoys me. Some of them are interesting ideas executed poorly, and some of them are just bereft of any creativity and feel like padding (ancient wyvern i'm lookin at you). I genuinely think the bed of chaos has a really cool design ( I LOVE that the real boss is just a weird bug and around it is a sad humanoid tree reflecting the mistakes and feelings of the witch of izalith, with the chaos power sealed away and unleashed through the fight) BUT the boss fight itself is so poorly realized and executed and an unfair pain in the ass to fight, it's vomit icing on the shit cake that is izalith as a zone.... I feel like Rykard Elden Ring has kind of the perfect storm of cool design + cool boss arena + cool covenant/npc's tied to him + cool zone that makes his gimmick fight still feel so good and satisfying.
Another excellent video, as a side note I believe that the best gimmick boss in the entire series is the abyss watchers, with how the fight flows in the first phase to the badass way the gimmick ends in the second phase backed up by the beautiful soundtrack shows how masterfully gimmick bosses can be crafted

My favorite wrestler gimmick was “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan just bringing a 2x4 with him and going “HUUUUUUUUH!”
Surprised that no DS2 boss made the list, but great video!
Oh yeah hacksaw is a LEGEND! awesome gimmick! And yep, I could not think of a bad gimmick boss in Dark Souls 2 lol
the four kings also have a gimmick with their sword, basically the tip does the most damage and the closer you are the less damage you take
Oh wow that’s a pretty cool thing that I was not aware of. Thanks for sharing that valuable tip!
@@traeirbyeyyyy thats a knee slapper intended or not
To think that Rykard is the only great gimmick fight, where the gimmick is actually consistent with the rest of the game and has more complexity than other gimmick fights in the series. I guess it only took them 6 games of trial and error before getting it right.
😂 for real, also I love rykard too what a cool boss!
I would say the Divine Dragon is the first successful gimmick boss but yeah Rykard is great
This has been placed in front of my eyes, and I liked your funny words, videogame man. I will be back for more.
Also there are a couple of pretty clear routes down to Nepenthes around the sides, I grind it for money when I get bored of the big walker.
Alright! I’m glad you enjoyed the new video! 😀 yeah after some experimenting I finally figured out a way down lol
Call my bosses bad again and i will find you
🤣👍
The Bed of Chaos, by itself, took the last ~10 minutes of a 35-minute Top Ten video. Yes, I agree with this, and yes, it really is that bad. Amazing video Trae, well done, awesome song too.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m happy that you enjoyed it! I worked sooo hard on this one 😂
Nah it isn’t nearly that bad. In fact it’s good
There are no bathrooms in the Nightmare of Mensis. Of course he drinks it.
Fair enough
Maybe not specifically a boss, but I can think of an enemy archetype that doesnt like you smashing their jewelry too much: a lich. Those bone bois are effectively just puppeting their body while their souls are tucked away nice and safe in whatever pot, necklace, spoon, etc they feel like using as a phylactery.
Oh wow! I was not aware of that!
I love this dudes humor. Every bit and joke does the bare minimum to be funny. It's junk food humor.
🤣 glad you liked it!
I'm fighting that bracelet boss right now. The worst part is not the fight itself but the runback to his arena.
Oh man yeah, that's a bad run!
Wolnir wasting my time by making me chase his wrists around the area for 5 minutes makes me feel so much catharsis as I send him plummeting to the depths of the Abyss, jaw bone agape in a silent ghost of a scream.
Preach on brother! 🙌
Omg yess poison daggers FTW
Ill have to try that nepenthes stray next time!
Funnily enough I didn’t have any problems with Micodash, until a Call Beyond.
I got his running down and could easily train him to phase 2’s room. I’d just always get one shot 😢
Yes, he is a scum bag
he parried me a solid few times with the ebrietas..... now i have a +10 simons bowblade on me at all times for cheesing that sucker
I can't say how good this timing is. My life is a big mess but this brought so much joy and happiness back into it. Everything will be alright thank you for the laughs
I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through a rough patch! I’m very happy to hear that this video brought you a little relief, please feel free to free to join the discord, we’re all super loving and supportive!
Can we get an honorable mention for the dark souls 1 hydra? It’s not technically a boss, but trying to his that last head is a chore and is just a waste of time
I agree even as a mini boss He’s an annoying little piece of crap.
Most insulting thing in DS3 is that there are many gimmick bosses, and they set up like that so it's infinitely harder to fight them normally (without gimmicks.)
Yeah man that’s 100% true it’s weird that DSR has some of the best boss fights in the entire series but also some of the shittiest ones lol
Dragon God. Bed of Chaos. Ancient Dragon.
Miyazaki, how many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?!
I don’t know, but maybe it’s time to break out the cane
Ancient dragon is not even a Boss, but is an abysmal fight anyways
In fact, you just listed my 3 most hated bosses made by fromsoftware, specific order:
3: bed of chaos
2: ancient dragon
1: dragon god
I mean, having watched a bunch of Ymfah's Dark Souls challenge vids, the easiest way to deal with Bed of Chaos is to just use the binoculars to look up, then chuck firebombs at the boss from behind their barrier. The devs left just enough of a gap at the top of the twisted net of branches to allow bombs to be thrown over.
I will be trying this next time!
Wolnirs bracelets are the only thing keeping the Abyss at bay. When you destroy them the Abyss claims him. Yeah. It’s a dumb gimmick, but it’s got Lore behind it
Yeah, I agree. It's not the best boss fight, but it is a very cool boss with a very cool story!
Gimmick fights are underrated, everyone just wants to every boss to be artorias again
I agree, demons souls has some fantastic gimmicks, as does Elden ring and dark souls 3!
Very well said! Considering how poopy this boss is, I’m going to make room for it on another list I’m working on!
Opening up Paper mills in Fromsoft game worlds is crazyyyyyyyy 😭🙏 but hilarious. First time checking out your content, I hope you can keep up the good work!!!!! 💯
🤣🤣🤣 it just came to me while I was writing the video that there are so many tree bosses in these fromsoftware games that are so stupid lol
@@traeirby That's low-key true though, especially with how tree focused Elden Ring is it makes you think about how many Fromsoft trees there are 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love your channel,i really enjoy these old school videos❤
❤️ I’m so glad you’re liking the channel!
That's some old School UA-cam video here... I subbed
😃 glad you enjoyed it!
What was worst is the first time I went for a plunge attack on the wyvern I missed and it was so gay
Never missed the plunge but I've seen it missed by a summon...BRUTAL
"Dickolash" is what really got me XD
🤣
Dark souls 2 confirmed best game of fromsoftware, best souls 2 no worst gimmick bossfight in this amazing game
Can't argue with the facts, Best Souls 2!
🙌
🙌
Hell yeah. Royal Rat Vanguard and Executioner Charriot 🙌🏻.
I cant believe i actually laughed at some of these jokes i was NOT expecting to laugh at the asylum demon being called sexy
Hey, I know I’m no Carlos Mencia, so I’m glad that you did laugh at some of those jokes 😂 also, I would slap the hell out of that ass 🥵
It's High Lord Wolnir's moo moo farm! Great video man
Thanks man I’m really glad that you liked it!
Moo moo? 🐄
My god, it's so crazy...but back in the day Bed of Chaos almost made me quit the game, for real
I feel you man! It’s one of the most frustrating, tedious, annoying things I’ve ever encountered in a video game!
@@traeirby Definitely! And it's not like the place sugarcoats it, Lost Izalith is laaame xD
Armored Core 6's Ice Worm is still the best FromSoft gimmick boss imo
BIG AGREE on that one buddy! ice worm kicks butt!!!
The entire dragon area in ds3 is incredibly hard those serpent boys are our of control
Yeah man those snakes are buck wild
Really enjoyed the video Trae! Lots of funny moments and the ending was gold. Also, everything Trae said about Micholash is true!!!
I’m so glad to hear you say that you enjoyed the new video! And thank you for commenting on the ending! You’re the first one to even say anything about it and I thought it was such a funny idea. I couldn’t wait for you guys to see it!
Trea irby I just found your channel and had to subscribe. this is hilarious! I got about 2 minutes into your video and new i had to Crack a beer and sit down for the show! "Try doin that to lady Maria's jewelry" bahaha thanks for the upload man!
😃 I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! It’s really my goal to make entertaining stuff!
10 THOUSAND SUBS! Congrats, man!
Thanks bro 😊❤️
Loved the Micolash drinks his own piss song!
🤣🤣🤣 HE HAD IT COMING
Banger video, keep up the good work king!
Thanks buddy! Glad you enjoyed it!
I clicked on this video because i saw micolash, there is no thought behind my eyes. Everytime i hear people describe micolash like a bratty bastard i become incredibly joyous.
😂
This is funny as shit, I dig the standing green screen setup it isn't used enough. Im subbing I want more souls veteran Bob Ross
Hell yeah man I appreciate your enthusiasm and your feedback and I’m glad to hear that you really enjoyed the video!
Good fuckin job friend. These vids are honestly just getting better and better. I hope to show your shit to more and more people and have it pay off, but ty for the content. It produces quite the comedic effect.
Also apologies for only rarely showing up lol, I do keep up with the channel and I do appreciate it.
Thanks you so much for the feedback! I’ve been working hard on improving with every video and it’s such a good feeling to hear that I am! ❤️
No worries bro! I know life be lifin’ sometimes 😂 it’s great to hear from you again!!!
Just started the video and I thought that initial skit was going on for to long, then I remembered he’s canonically a gooner
Thank you
Already loving this one right from the intro, Trae!
❤️ Glad to hear it!
You said dicolash and I cackled
❤ finally algorithm showed me a really cool channel - good job man !
I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy it! Thanks for putting a smile on my face with that comment 😊
Low key think gwyndolin was actually a pretty cool gimmick, just a bit too easy
Thank you for sharing your opinion 😊
@@traeirby maybe should have said it “could have been” a cool gimmick lmao
There’s only a couple ways of redeeming the Elden Beast fight: let you use Torrent and let you summon Miriel who uses some kind of comet azur/black flame death beam because Miriel fucking rules… unlike this fight. Also, let us pet Torrent, dammit.
Awesome video dude 😂
I 100% endorse your strategy to fix Elden Beotch! Also I’m glad you liked the video 😀
Also torrent petting needs to be in the DLC
@@traeirby (I forget how commenting works sometimes) FUCKING RIGHT?!? He’s such a good spirit steed or whatever.
Good info!
🤣🤣🤣
That ending is really great
Thanks man! I was pretty proud of it TBH 😂
Bro you are funny as hell, hope your channel blows up 🙏🙏
Thank you so much for the kind words and support!😃❤️
@@traeirby for sure man, keep it up!
I’m noticing a distinct lack of “burnt ivory king pre-battle Gank”
Yes you should be, I have a special video that he is going to be featured in planned for the future!
You might just be one of the fucking funniest dudes on this platform hands down. Every single joke and bit hit me like a freight train 😂
Well, I can tell you one thing man that means a lot to hear. I sincerely appreciate you saying that and I love getting feedback! I worked really hard on this video and it was actually more agonizing and difficult than any video I’ve ever made so I’m really glad that it worked for you and that you enjoyed it!
I hate how many enemies will use epileptic seizures against you. A lot. It's not a boss thing, but it is a gratuitous and annoying gimmick.
True
Woah i thought youd have way more subs, this was a phenomenal video!!
Thanks! Hopefully this video will help change that number 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Serious Tim and Eric vibes
OK I’m gonna take that as a huge compliment because I love those guys 😂
Dog this video is hilarious! Your delivery is great and I fuck with the standing green screen format. Subbbbbeeeddd
😃 hell yeah! That’s the kind of response I’m happy to get! So glad you enjoyed watching!
Love your vids and energy! I have not completed ER yet and some parts here caught me off guard. Not sure if you want to implement spoilers in the future for crybabies like me.
I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying the channel! 😀 ohhhh I’m sorry about the Elden ring spoiler, I guess i figured I was the last person to play it lol
What sucks about the Ancient Wyvern is that it can randomly decide to flap it's head around just before you plunge attack it, making it so you miss entirely and fall to your death. Now you have to do the runback again. Fun!
Only an evil scumbag would design this boss
Me: *looking through the chapters to see what bosses you included* "Oooh I see you saved the best for last!"
😂😂😂
For Wolnir, its less the jewelry breaking that kills him as much as him getting dragged into the abyss when they aren't protecting him.
My main issue is if you break 1-2 bracelets too fast and knock him back enough, he'll charge forward and probably insta kill you with the vape
You know, I completely forgot about the fact that he can just rush forward and Insta kill you like that it’s been a while since I did it. Oh man that crap pissed me off so bad when it happened to me
This is my first video I’ve seen of your content and you hooked me at “spooky genital warts”
Glad to hear you liked it! 😃
Your choice in pop culture references is absolutely delectable
😊❤️
Well since you and all of us now know about Elden Beasts childhood trauma he never healed from, can we really blame him for hiding in a giant tree and running away from us? He probably thought you were his dad seeing you from afar :( I hope there aren't any giant squirrels on the tree tho...
🤣 🐿️
When it comes after you again, you can do that trick again! this time dodging in front of it (towards the camera and a bit to the right) then circling around it. rinse repeat. then on its final approach if you keep kiting it then it will disappear and you just continued doing damage without having to sink time waiting it out
I don't like having to sacrifice the ring slot in this fight, because I'd love to fight four kings with ninja flips enabled, but to do that it means I have to lose out on half my damage from RTS so it isn't worthwhile to swap it out
Wow, that's cool that you figured that out! Battle tactics! 🔥
“Can you think of any boss where if you break their jewelry they die?”
Forgetting big baddie Sauron are we?
🤣👍🙌
Spot on with this video! You had me laughing most of the way through! 😂 definitely worth a sub!
That’s fantastic! I’m happy to hear that the new video was cracking you up! That was my number one goal!
Hey brother hope all is well. I’ve watched all your videos and love the content, from an outside perspective it’s somehow feels different than the other videos like these in the best way possible. I will be apart of your journey to see u grow!
To add, I would 100 percent keep the face cam on
Well thanks man. I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying the videos. I’m always hard at work on the next one! You’re support It super appreciated!
Oh yeah thank you I appreciate the feedback!
I remember when i failed a no death run in DS3, against the fucking wyvern, i did the plunging attack and for some reason it didn't registered, i just slided and died from the fall
Geez! I would have flipped out
Yup. Not registering the attack happened to me 2 times before killing it.
That’s the only reason I died 8 fucking times to the boss lol
Very well said, I completely agree with all of that!
Another excellent video, as a side note I believe that the best gimmick boss in the entire series is the abyss watchers, with how the fight flows in the first phase to the badass way the gimmick ends in the second phase backed up by the beautiful soundtrack shows how masterfully gimmick bosses can be crafted
❤️ Abyss Watchers, one of the best Fromsoftware bosses!
If you play the original unpatched version of Dark Souls you can actually get a maximum of 6 kings
🤯🤣
I cant wait for the day when Fromsoft makes a game that is equally hard, fair, and engaging
Elden Ring has always felt super empty to me.
@@Tortuga2223a I definitely agree, but I've recently been planning my playthroughs a little bit and it's made it way more fun.
But yeah when i was collecting everything on my highest level character it was pretty tedious to say the least.
They have, ds3
@@zacharyhuhn8366 Wrong. Ds3 has the same unfair bs that all the other games have. Which is fine honestly, because oppressive difficulty and unfairness is an inherent part of their design philosophy.
I just think it could be even better if they cooled the hell down a little sometimes 😅
The papermill joke made my entire week..
Nice! 😆 I've been meaning to try to get some shirts made!
"So it's basically anything BUT 4 Kings is what you're going to be dealing with."
Except for the lone 45 seconds where there are only 4 kings, yes. lol
😂 but REALLY how often is that going to happen?
It isn't a specific boss, but I think a gimmick that is worth an honorable mention is bosses that simply roll over while you're fighting them and kill you instantly as a result if they happen to roll towards you.
Oh yeah! Very good point! That also applies to quite a few monsters from Monster Hunter too!
@@traeirby yeah and it's annoying as Hell there too lol. I'm glad I just found your channel, you have pretty much the same perspective on these games, and the same sense of humor, as I do. Keep up the great work, man!
I mean, like, they could’ve made us make that Wyvern run twice, couldn’t they 🫠🤷🏻♂️
🤣 hell yeah! That would be the shit
Great video Trae! Your song at the end freaking killed me 😂
Thanks brother I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed the song too! I worked hard on it!
At least micolash becomes hilarious if you play benny hill
Very good point 😂
