Geneva NE is only 25 miles from me!! That is awesome! Love your videos. I’m the daughter of a trucker. I’m so old I remember when you had to have a license to talk on the cb 😂. My dad was Bullshipper and mine was Pink Rabbit. Stay safe out there!!
Hey there, you probably solved the screw problem by now, but, my 2 cents worth is maybe Lock washers. They have worked for me many times. Another comment is, I used to drive big truck many years ago. I'm 77 years young but disabled due to spine injury. Bone on bone...sigh. Stay safe and stay healthy.
KURT GREAT VIDEO I CRACKED UP ON THE SPIDER MY HUSBAND WOULD BLEEP A GOLEN GOOSE IF HE WERE TO BUCK UP ON IT !! THE GUY YOU WERE SPEAKING WITH BEAUTIFUL TRUCK WOW !! BE BLESSED STAY SAFE !! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👊✊👍🐾🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾🐾
The truckstop was owned by the Newell family until several years ago. They have since sold the facility which in turn has contracted with Pilot for the fuel sales. The restaurant has been subleased to a company to operate title. At one time it was a real full service truckstop with a tire shop, CB shop, truck wash, and restaurant. No longer family owned and the services have been curtailed like so many other Mom and Pop operations.
Silicone Works really well on screws that get Loose.. plus its not hard to take said screws back out. Just be easy on the Dab of Silly~Cone so that its not a mess ...just takes a lil .. is silicone also works really well on the screw on lug nut covers and they won't back off. ✌️ 💚 & 18 Wheels Rollin
You are inching closer to 50k subscribers. That would be a great Christmas present. Nice color in the trees in spite of the gloom. I think I saw a saddle on that spider! Probably a Carolina wolf spider. Thanks for the awesome ride. Safe travels, and God bless.
Schmidt I will be starting orientation tomorrow for a trucking company. Maybe I'll get to see you and the German on my travels. May the LORD watch over the two of you and grant you safe travels!
Hi Kurt. I'm lucky I didn't catch the part about the spider you were talking about I was walking through the room. But I will say I am not a fan of spiders at all. The movie you were talking about I won't even say the name hahaha I've never seen it and every time a trailer would come on I would immediately change the channel. OH yes that was a beautiful W9. You and Opie have a great run stay safe.
Hi Wayne. Nice truck you have there. Kurt, you and I have the same problem. We are both big and tall guys. Wide bodies describe us best. Trying to skinny down between trailers parked close is a no go. Give Opie a belly rub for me. God bless and stay safe.
Hey Kurt I don't know how old Opie is but I lost my little buddy Saturday he was 13 in human age and 91 in dog years, great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe
I hate those auto inflation system, get called in on a sunday for a flat tire, and by the time you get there its a slow leak and the driver says "I didnt check to see which one it was, thats your job"
I switched out our KW Grill like yours out to a louver style, which looks sharp. You might try doing away with the oval washers under the screws, cut and drill a pc of flat that would span all the way across. I think the oval washers tend to turn and lets the bolt loosen up. I would also use flange headed bolts with serrations under the head, and put a shake proof washer under that. Both are designed to bite in to whatever you are fastening to. Any Fastenal will have them. Good Luck !
Use some threadlock on the screws, it should help to keep them from vibrating loose. If that doesn't work, try some PL400 or weld them and that will work for sure.
Nice to see Opie with you! Ya know the buy me a cup of coffee thing some have viewers can do? If can do Opie cheeseburgers I’d buy him one. Bet many would. I’ve asked this before not seen you answer it. I’m just stupid ok. What’s the mini lava lamp looking thing on top of your Cb? It’s driving me nuts. Thks! Safe relaxing travels to ya. And opie.
Don’t know when you were in Dodge but a couple of days ago they had zero visibility all the way to garden city. Fog was terrible. Glad you had a good day. I am worse than you about spiders and could tell you a funny story about two of my spider experiences but it would take too long. You and Opie havagudun and stay safe.
Back in the day that truckstop in Newton Ks was the shit family owned had a great resturant tire shop always had high fuel prices location was great east on 50 to meet 35 at emporia always full of trucks Be Safe that fog is a killer put me to bed quicker than anything it just makes since to park somewhere safe
I hate spiders. I am glad they don't get big here. we have brown recluse and black widows but they don't get large. but then they don't need to their bite is just as deadly. as for that movie you mentioned. I got through almost 8 mins of it lol never again.
Hi have you ever tried putting lock tight on those screws or how about screws with lock washers and nuts just a thought have a blessed day I really. enjoy your videos also how dedicated you are to your family
Them were them big farm.sprayer tanks they use for spraying crops they weighed only 14,000 lbs ? You would think it would weigh a little more than that.
That was one decked out KW. One question I have about older trucks like that is what are they doing for logging systems, paper or ELD? I've only diven newer trucks with ELDs but I'm considering going O/O with an older pre-emissions 379 or a KW like yours.
Last night on Svengoolie a whole Town was being attacked by Spiders with Lethal Venom. Eventually the whole Town was covered with a huge Spider Web, including Capt. Kirk. So don't take that Spider lightly.
I had a huge spider tucked away on my top bunk window under the window cover. Don’t know how long it was there or even how it got in…..but it freaked me out when I had to kill it lol

You are probably the luckiest trucker in the whole wide world. Be safe and give OPIE a big hello.

i with you man, i don't even do tiny spiders
Have you tried loctite on your grill screws? That seems like an area prone to a lot of vibration.
Beat me to it.
Thanks for stopping by the M60A3, ( the tank ), spent a LOT of time on those before we got the M1's
Nope. That truck stop used to be Newells. And had a good mom and pop cafe in it. Then they changed it over to a pilot. Havent stopped there in years.
That spider was a tarantula. They are very nice. I have owned a few. One had 7 legs
I absolutely love the style of your videos…..very calm and relaxing.
Yes I agree

Try cutting small pieces of rubber behind them might help with vibration so they won’t work loose.🇬🇧
HWY 50 in kansas sounds like the kind of place I would love to live.
That movie is the reason why I haven't eaten popcorn since 1990 lol
It's been a while since you had a train in one of your videos and today we got two! Thank you and take care!
"Guaranteed happy ending" 😂
Am pleased to have subscribed to your channel. Wishing you and your family Happy and enjoyable Holidays.
Amazing Goop from O'Reilly, Autozone, Wal-Mart, Napa will fixed the issues of grilll screws
Good on you both Kurt and Opie
Send some of that rain down south we dry
A red oval on the crown will fix up the grill 🤷♂️
That looks like the little car wash on the east side of great bend

Lol, very well could of been a saddle on there.
At 100k he will definitely make more money then driving the truck. Weird time's we live in! Entertainment pays more then actual service
Good imitation of spider hebee jeebies.
Ha Kurt and opie...I never comment...but I've watched all your videos...keep up the good videos....be safe out there
Wow! Thanks for driving through and showing Larned, KS! Be safe out there!
Schmidt I will be starting orientation tomorrow for a trucking company. Maybe I'll get to see you and the German on my travels. May the LORD watch over the two of you and grant you safe travels!
That was a Texas Brown Tarantula. They are all over western Kansas.

Hello James my name is Wade not Wayne. No worries it happens all the time. And thank you I appreciate that.
Surprised Opie didn't see that toad or spider. That sure was a big spider like a tarantula. Nice relaxing video THX And as always stay safe 🙏
Hey Kurt I don't know how old Opie is but I lost my little buddy Saturday he was 13 in human age and 91 in dog years, great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe

Havent seen you in a bit. Im not very technical some algorithm thing i guess.Glad to see you again.👍
I hate those auto inflation system, get called in on a sunday for a flat tire, and by the time you get there its a slow leak and the driver says "I didnt check to see which one it was, thats your job"
Thanks for th e laugh! I feel the same way about spiders.😆
Hey try lock thread compound on your clips if they’re threaded
I dunno, man. That might be too heavy to pull! 😂 I probably would’ve moved my truck after seeing a spider that dang big!
Go close to the top and the bottoms of the ribs and wire them in instead of using the clips, or as an assist to the clips
Really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work, I watch every day. Have a good day.
Gr8 Vid & TRUCKIN with Mr Kurt & Opie
G'day. Kurt both you and oppie are at it once again . Take care stay safe

I don't know how you keep putting out the amazing video all the time keep up the great work.
Thank you
Tarantulas mate this time of year.
Use some threadlock on the screws, it should help to keep them from vibrating loose. If that doesn't work, try some PL400 or weld them and that will work for sure.
Locktight them
M-60 Tank. I drove one back in the late 60's.
Try a product called locktite. Comes in different strengths. Which one you use depends on if you want to remove the screws at some future time.
That's a wolf spider.
Once I saw that tarantula, I woulda moved the truck! 😮 Blue Loc-Tite 242 on those clamps and you'll be good to go
every video is good do my best not to miss one be safe out there god bless sir
Kurt: You're about to step on a toad Opie!
Opie: What's a toad?
😂❤
Nice to see Opie with you! Ya know the buy me a cup of coffee thing some have viewers can do? If can do Opie cheeseburgers I’d buy him one. Bet many would.
I’ve asked this before not seen you answer it. I’m just stupid ok. What’s the mini lava lamp looking thing on top of your Cb? It’s driving me nuts. Thks! Safe relaxing travels to ya. And opie.
Should ceramic coat your front bumper. Too really make it shine& keeps dirt and junk off bumper
small lock washers might help for da screws that keep loosening up. ?? crazy glue ??
3:11 my son bought me an "8" ball suicide knob for my steering wheel. I had a plain one when I was driving truck but don't know what I did with that.
Put some red lock tight on the grill clips
Don’t know when you were in Dodge but a couple of days ago they had zero visibility all the way to garden city. Fog was terrible. Glad you had a good day. I am worse than you about spiders and could tell you a funny story about two of my spider experiences but it would take too long. You and Opie havagudun and stay safe.
kinda ruff on that door seal !!??😮 poor thing!! lay on da ground all twisted.....be safe 🎉
I call it build-a-spot when having to get creative to park for the night
Aw man I don't like spiders either 😕!! Gross
Lol I said Dork just before you said it !
Lol
has some one been watching bass master... creep on a leash is pretty good
OPIE IS THE BEST!
Went through mapleton today that kenworth looks good from the gas station.
Beef is what for dinner
Good man
Lock tight.
Train!!! 👍
Hey Kurt what about lock tight on the screws on your grill 👍🙏🏻✌️💪🏻❤️
I wouldn't even have parked my truck near that. I would have moved it from that spider.😂
I love it when you guy's take us with you when you go to wash your trucks. Question, do those guys make good money working at a truck wash..?
Not sure
Back in the day that truckstop in Newton Ks was the shit family owned had a great resturant tire shop always had high fuel prices location was great east on 50 to meet 35 at emporia always full of trucks Be Safe that fog is a killer put me to bed quicker than anything it just makes since to park somewhere safe
I wonder if they make lock washers in the size you need. That might mean you would have to get longer screws.
I think that trk stop you were at in newton was the old newells trk stop
Put some Locktite on those clip fastners.
I vote for the liquid low tide also since you mentioned the threads mat not be that strong. Lock washers required good threads to get the grip first.
Correction: Lock Tite is the spelling.
Keep your windows rolled up so they won't get in
Weld them to the grill.
Put Teflon tape on screws
Why don’t you try putting some Loc Tite on the screws to the ribs on the grill.
Last night on Svengoolie a whole Town was being attacked by Spiders with Lethal Venom. Eventually the whole Town was covered with a huge Spider Web, including Capt. Kirk. So don't take that Spider lightly.
Hey Kurt, since you are a drone pilot now, how about more videos in the air?
I didn't watch the spider movie that you made 5 minutes through. I didn't watch the movie "Snakes On A Plane" either.
I tried that movie
Loctite should work on the grill
yup a dab of silacone.
Haven't seen Opie get a cheeseburger lately. Hopefully he has gotten one or two.
I would try loctite on them screws
We have big grass spiders here in Indiana.
👍
I know you said you were gonna put lock tight on those screws for the front grill. Did you put the lock tight thredlocker blue on them
Nope pilot bought them about a year ago
Hey Kurt did you go back and roll your windows up? Hopefully the spider didn’t get inside. Sleep well
Yup
I had a huge spider tucked away on my top bunk window under the window cover. Don’t know how long it was there or even how it got in…..but it freaked me out when I had to kill it lol
