Perfect Crispy Homemade French Fries at Home | Easy & Quick Recipe 🍟
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes
3 tablespoons corn flour
Salt, to taste
2 cups oil for frying
Water, for soaking
Recipe:
Step 1: Peel and Cut the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into long, thin strips. Rinse the strips in cold water to remove excess starch.
Step 2: Soak the Potato Strips
Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This will help remove excess starch and help the fries become crispy.
Step 3: Drain and Dry the Potato Strips
Drain the potato strips and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Step 4: Mix Corn Flour and Salt
In a bowl, mix together the corn flour and salt.
Step 5: Coat the Potato Strips
Coat the potato strips evenly with the corn flour mixture.
Step 6: Heat the Oil
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C).
Step 7: Fry the Potato Strips
Carefully add the coated potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Step 8: Drain Excess Oil
Remove the fries from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on paper towels.
Step 9: Serve
Serve the crispy homemade French fries hot and enjoy!
