Hey Jossel! Thanks for the great review. I’m torn about getting this or the Powershot V10. I’m planning to use it **or sneak it in rather** during concerts or when I’m travelling for company events and would just want to make a log of how my day went. I don’t really speak much so the mic doesn’t matter.
if you really want to "sneak in" a camera this is your perfect option haha. The V10 is pretty noticeable lol but I guess that one has a better image quality
I had this one and then I loose it.😭 Because it’s really small so easier to loose. But I love this so much that I’m thinking about buying it again.

The new Insta360 Go 3S has find my, so if you have an iPhone/iPad you can find it.

for me it's unusual to see it in any other color than white haha but yeah the black one looks alright

It's cheaper than a GoPro I think but the quality is better on the GoPro 😆
@@JosellClarkWhere I live GoPro 12 is actually cheaper or about the same price. If Insta360 Go 3 was priced $250-300 USD than it will be reasonable, but unfortunately this is a very niche camera system that it's best feature is it's size.

I love that they small and can connect to magnets but the quality when u take at night time or darker make me really have a hard decision between this or osmo pocket 3
if you like making creative shots take this one or wait for the Go 4 (if they will make one) if you care more about quality and stability get the pocket 3 🤙

I think you can edit it in any device that can run the App. I edited my photos on the Insta 360 App both on phone and PC

Hey I am thinking of buying the camera but i am a little concerned with the build quality and battery deg any comments or suggestions if i shud buy it rn or just wait a year for the new one to come out
if you really want it now, get it 2nd hand so if you regret at least, you didn't pay full price lol. But as a consumer, I would wait for a new model. I really enjoyed this camera!
I don’t like the conspicuous white color. Hopefully some third party vendors will sell some sleeves in muted colors.
you can customize the camera itself on their website but not the pod. I'm good with the white but yeah it stands out a bit 😂
The video is kinda vibrating when you walk, is it fixable?
there are 3 stages of stabilization and I was using the basic one. I think it can get fixed using the 2nd or 3rd stabilization option
is the 2.7k vs 4k video really makes much difference? I would like to use it during my occassional travelling. I am actually fond of its ability to detached and simply attach everywhere metal.. kinda handsfree
there is a noticeable difference especially with the quality of this camera. It's not as good as the action cams of DJI and Go Pro but this is the smallest camera out there

Is the 2.7k resolution better in all scenarios? Or should we downgrade the quality in specific scenarios??
I personally just use the 1440p option since 2.7k tends to have a barely noticeable black bars on the left and right side.
You can see the preview of the media in the go 3 itself right?
yes man but it's in low res version. You'll see the actual quality in PC or your Smartphone when you transfer the clips

Which app you used to transfer the photos from 1st camera to phone and then phone to SSD.. Without Cable and which SSD is it?
hey man there's an app for Insta 360 products and you can grab the media from there. Once it's in your phone you can access the files from your file manager

hey man I don't know if you can use it for whatsapp but the latest update let's you use it as a Webcam for your PC. This is what I use for live discord chats with my friends 👌
Should I get the go 3 S or wait until the go 4
I would wait for the Go 4 lol the Go 3s had minor updates but not enough to blow people away
I'm planning to record/ create memories with my old dogs, well they are turning 8 this year so not sure how long more they can live so... Yeah I find this go3 suits me the best cause I'm not gonna use it for crazy actions though. And I don't mind 2.7k resolution since Im not going to project the videos or images into large screen (does it make sense? 😅)
But one thing is that... I was researching on external mic that can enhance the audio but sounds like there's no external mic can be attached to it... Does the stereo mode enough for vlogging with my dogs? U think?
glad to hear that those dogs have a wonderful owner. I think attaching this to your dogs is perfect but if you plan to have yourself talking in the vlog I would recommend to use your phone to record yourself and the GO3 attached to one of your dogs. At least that's what I would do. Have fun my friend!

I wouldn't recommend this camera for that. This might hurt my views and commissions but I recommend the Insta Ace Pro instead. It just came out and the price is not that far off 👍

I was planning to buy it till I heard that it's internal memory only. I find it pointless since I will run up on that memory right away.

One reason i found really annoying was that if you make a photo/video the quality on the screen looks like shit. I would love to have better quality shown while i am recording or taking photos.
the over all quality is not that good 😂 I hope it improves with the Go 4 if they're planning on making one
Can't help but notice the image quality is atrocious. Every time you showed your demo footage, terrible edge definition, full of fat square compression artifacts, looks like a webcam from 1999 or something. Also several shots show a vibration of the whole image, when pinned to your chest - So looks like zero shake smoothing too. Lower quality overall is especially noticeable when inter-cut with your super sharp normal camera footage...
I was torn between this one, for its tiny uses, and the insta360 X3. But the X3 now wins because who needs ugly footage? Plus the fact that this thing isn't really 360, but more like 180, having only one eye on one side. Anyway, saved me a bad purchase thx for the peek.
ah bro the quality like I said is garbage haha but it's a very unique camera which I enjoy using. I also didn't use the max stabilization that's why it was a bit shakey. But yeah good luck on your action cam purchase! Perhaps check out the new Insta Ace Pro

I'm not sure what the timestamp issue is but I haven't encountered any problems with this camera yet
@@JosellClark There's an issue that people reported, that when exporting the files from the camera to android, or PC, the files assume the date when they were exported, and not the date when they where recorded.
What app translator did you use?
what do you mean? For transferring the files? I just used Samsung's file manager and Insta 360's app

thanks for the kind words! This would be a great POV camera if you are okay with the sub par quality lol. You can use a gopro but that one is a bit harder to use for POV shots

Are you familiar with the Insta360 X3? Does the GO3 allow reframing in Insta360 Studio similar to the X3?
I bought an X3 a year ago and now I am sold on the film-now-frame-later reframing of 360 video. The only glitch is I am not comfortable with taking my X3 underwater and it would not work as well due to its larger candy bar phone size and shape. I take my older GoPro H8 underwater for spearfishing and snorkeling; however, I have become very spoiled by reframing and have missed so much footage as it was ruined by improper framing of the action with the GoPro.
you can re-frame the Go3 as well but only to an extent. The X3 can be reframed up to 360° while the Go3 is only at 180° or even less than that 😂. If I am not mistaken Insta created an underwater case for the X3 go check it out!
@@JosellClark Thanks. That helps a lot in the decision making. Yeah I have the dive case for the Insta360 X3. Aside from some oddities with the X3 underwater with the dive case, it makes the camera even bigger and harder to integrate into certain activities like spearfishing. Thanks for clearing up the reframing question.

I've noticed this, too. Sometimes, as a viewer, UA-cam shows me that a video I'm watching has zero likes. But in reality the video has several likes. I'm not sure why this happens occasionally. This video has over 900 likes.

When you record a video too long, when turn it off, it will take sometime to progress the video and that's why the Go3 get stuck, just leave it until it finish and it will reconnect again

bought it to do walk tours . dont like at all. it is super jittery even in a day time when walking, not even going to try at night. stabilisation is just insanely jittery
lol it's pretty crap on low light scenarios. I fixed the jitter using the highest stabilization option. It's hard to complain about the downsides. I mean it is after all the smallest action camera out there and the price is not outrageous too. But yeah all our complaints are pretty valid 😂
@@JosellClark u fixed jitters somehow ? In my case putting on high - it was getting even worse . I dont mind about the quality i am just very mad about huge jitters and wobbling in the video which ruins everything .

I'm thinking of getting this due to a situation that happend to me during work I do armed security and long story short I was in a situation where I almost had to shoot at someone because they where running at me and about to attack me with a hammer I feel like using this as a body cam would be perfect
