When you get the call, and recognize the panic in a bridal moms voice... her alterations don’t work, wedding in two week! 😳. Shoulder seams aren’t tight enough! Scratch my head, somewhat figure it out, AND find your video!!!! Yea!!! Just like yours. Lord, I love making something work and reinforcement. Your videos are a life saver. Now. If you could show me how to find those darn clear threads. It’s like finding Waldo. Love love love your tutorials. 💋
Love your videos. You’ve helped me so much with my newish Alterations business. Started Oct 2018 and actually quit my paid employment part time job 3 weeks ago 😃. Thank you so much. Love and best wishes from Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia ❤️
From someone who does alterations, your videos are of tremendous help! In many cases the technique is of biggest value, other times, it’s the confidence boost that I need. Just seeing it done relieves a lot of anxiety. Thank you! And your videography is perfectly fine!
Thank you for this valuable information. It is good to see someone else do this because I figured it out myself but now I know it is the right way to do it.
Thank you so much for this! My twin 5 year olds will be flower girls in a wedding but the dresses are poorly made and don’t fit. This helps me SO much to remake the straps! Life savor!!!!
Your videos are amazing and super helpful! I am sewing a similar alteration tomm, perfect timing! I am removing lace from the neck and upper chest area. I think your videos look very professional! Thanks for all your hard work!
I appreciate your videos so very much! 💖 Thank you! I am a seamstress too - definitely not into videography! So KUDOS to you for uploading a video to share your skills! You efforts are much appreciated! Btw - did you trim the seam on the tulle before FM stitching the lace back down? I didn't see that step. Thank you! 👍😀
Hi.. Love ur videos... Thank you for sharing ur knowledge... Have you done one on doing a new,, from stratch, hem on circular skirt.. My commission is half/full circular satin skirt with two over lays of silk chiffon.. I don't have access to horse hair.. 😢.. My old school knowledge says cut skirts and hang them to drop of weeks..?? I don't want uneven wavy hem..
I'm curious as to how you would take up the shoulders of a lace gown with sleeves? I feel I overcomplicate everything so it would be an awesome topic for another video maybe 😉😁 You are awesome! Thanks!
