Thanks Christa - another great tutorial and a common alteration on current dress styles especially centre front illusion panels. I have done a few. I mostly do the tuck method as measurements can be small and I find this works fine for me. I often wondered if I was doing it right so thanks for confirming. You mentioned invisible thread which I don't get along with too well so a mini tutorial on this subject would be great. Brand, needle, bobbin set up / machine tension etc. if you had time to do one that would be fab! Have a great day! Moira x

Thank you so much Moira 🥰
I’ve done many only on one side, and tucked. This one seemed to need so much that it really lowered the back.
Invisible thread can be such a struggle. I will have to do a video on it. I may not be the perfect person to teach it, because I struggle too, but I can show what I do and we can ask others to give tips in the comments. 😊
Also, a while back I did do a video on lace sleeves, on my other channel, Finding Shalom. It’s not a sewing channel but before this channel I did a few over there. Let me see if I can link that video here.

Here it is. I have a few tips I learned about sewing with invisible thread. It might help while you wait for me to make another video on invisible thread.
