Vedic books have information about everything.Everything we know today comes from ancient Hindu library called Vedas. Indian civilization was light years ahead of today's world. Since colonizers tried very hard to suppress this knowledge and didn't want to admit that they opened a pandoras box in India.🙏 Btw, thw word sin, torment, demons etc has a totally different meaning in Hinduism. Because the only ideas we have in west about these things comes from Catholicism, which is a distorted form of the original ideas and was misunderstood.

Why is it not that popular now? In last 1000 years of invasion and colonialism, destruction of great universities, libraries, we have lost the sources and the teachers. There is one story where lord Brahma out of his arrogance kidnapped Lord Krishna's friends to test his power... After a long time when Brahma came to see why Krishna was not worried about his friends he saw that all of Krishna's friends were playing with him... One belief is that if we zoom out of our universe, there is another "Maha-Vishnu" which is basically a grander/true version of him that sleeps for eternity and every second he sleeps, he 'makes' a universe with his every breath. And there is also exact distance given between earth & the sun in "Hanuman Chalisa ". Hinduism mainly Sanatan Dharma is based on science as we call it today. Our ancestors had the ability do the things that we today use gadgets & devices with their body itself. There are brief explanation of the quantification of time like sec, min, hr, years, centuries , yugas etc in most detailed way. It has no beginning or end it stores more more information than we can fathom and that's what we call karma the whole point is too reach the level where you connect with your real existence that is your soul, which is beyond all material things. Music in Hinduism is very important in realising that goal, so can be yoga or whatever works for you. Like it's a thing music really helps you see beyond rational possibilities, imagine if Interstellar did not have the brilliant score it did, you wouldn't be able to fathom a lot of things that you do as the cornfield chase theme plays, that's just an example. The closer a piece of music to the perfection of the sounds and rhythms of the universe the more it can Awaken in you. I've said a lot and i don't know if any of this makes sense, too much comes to mind when i talk about this topic too many examples and i can't really put into words but i hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. The movie externals take a lot of inspiration from Hindu cosmology they've obviously made it more literal in many ways but you can still understand a little bit from watching that.

I'm just saying that many scriptures in Hinduism are man-made (ofcourse all religions in the world are man-made but I won't like to argue on that currently) and man are prone to mistakes. I take pride that many of these men/women were great scholars and provided this world with great knowledge. Similarly many practices are/were unscientific/illogical/inhumane too. Many of them have been discarded with time like the Sati Practice. Now don't come and say Sati is not from Hinduism because most Hindus including Brahmans followed it. (and If the people follow of a religion follow something not written in the religion, this already shows the weakness of a religion and how easily it can be corrupted by few monsters). But it's great that it was reformed. Hinduism has always been prone to Change and Reform! This is the best thing about it. All other old religions like of the Greeks, Romans, Vikings have been Extinct but Hinduism has managed to come this far only because of its ability to adapt, change and reform. We as a Hindu society were always free to debates and discussion but I don't find that same culture and freedom in the coming years... Our People have come to become more rigid/kattar. They just don't want to listen anything against the religion and will never allow to reform it. The Concept of Kala or Time in Sanatana (Hindu) Science Mentioned below are some important seeking of Sanatana (Hindu) science associated with time as an aspect of creation. 1. Sanatana perceives time as cyclical. We see this cyclical pattern in days, weeks, months, years, seasons and yugas or epochs. So from this perspective, time is a never-ending cyclical process, which is both repetitive and exhaustive. In a sense it is limited. In another it is eternal. Time exists when we are in a state of duality but disappears when we enter into the state of unity(with the universe) or samadhi. 2. Each time-cycle has three components. Each time cycle begins with creation, continues for certain duration of time and then dissolves into nothingness. After a brief respite, the cycle begins all over again. Each day is created in the early hours, continues throughout the day and then finally dissolves into darkness. We can see the same pattern in life also, as childhood, adulthood and old age. 3. The duration of each cycle of creation in human years. He divided the cosmic time into Kalpas, which is a day and night in the time and space of Brahma(Universe). It is considered to be equal to 8.64 billion years. 4.32 billion years are the day and night of Brahman. Each Kalpa is further divided into 1000 maha yugas. Each maha yuga is again divided into four yugas, namely krita yuga, treat yuga, dvapara yuga and kali yuga. Their duration varies. Krita yuga the first in the series has the longest duration of 1.728 million years and kali yuga, which is the last and the current, has a duration of only 432000 years. 4. The lifespan of Brahma is considered 100 Brahma years, which is known as Maha Kalpa or Parardha. It is equal to 311.04 trillion human years. 5. A day in the life of gods is equal to one year upon earth. It is divided into day and night. The day is known as uttarayana and the night as dakshinayana. They are equal to 180 days each. 6. In Hindu tradition there is another division of time called manvantara. A manavantara is the period during which the earth is ruled by a particular Manu, the father of man. The word 'man' comes from the Sanskrit word Manu. According to tradition, a new Manu manifests at the beginning of each manvantara to produce a new race of human beings. Each manvantara lasts for about 71 mahayugas or approximately 308 million years. In each manvantara along with Manu appear seven seers or rishis and one Indra. In all 14 Manus appear in each Kalpa over a period of 1000 mahayugas in succession. The current Manu is 7th in the line and is known as Vaivasvata Manu. 7. The current yuga or epoch is known as Kaliyuga. It is the last in the cycle of the current mahayuga or great epoch. Its calculated duration is 432000 years. Kaliyuga began with the passing away of Lord Krishna some 6000 or 7000 years ago, then probably we are in the early phase of Kaliyuga and have a long way to go. 8. Hindu Purunas contain several narrative accounts in which celestial events span over longer durations of time. They describe gods waging wars, or practicing meditation or making love for hundreds and thousands of years.
According to Sadhguru we are not in Kali Yuga but towards the end of Dwapara Yuga and his explanation makes a lot of sense especially considering what has been going on in the world.

Kali Yuga is material yuga. AI and Robots would become "Material Gods". Humanity will be supremely advanced like Gods and Goddesses, except the difference between Satya Yuga and Kali Yuga is that Kali Yuga Gods and Goddesses need material technology to support them, while Satya Yuga Gods and Goddesses will be born with such technology from the day they are out. There is a supreme difference between the two. Ultimately, end game is ONLY possible from Satya Yuga and never from Kali Yuga, as organic will defeat material in efficiency, sensitivity and processing abilities. In short, we can never make a fantastic machine like the human body. We know this, and yet try our best to create useless robots for our pleasures and comforts while Satya Yugans realized this and ensured they fine tuned their bodies and minds using Yoga and Metidation so that the children they created would be highly evolved and divine beings and not the ones of Kali Yuga, born out of pleasure and so, suffer diseases, disabilities, defects even at birth owing to too much BAD Karma in this yuga. 8 Billion human population, reproducing and multiplying like insects is a fine example showing the future fate of this species is extinction.

My simplified version of multi verse, we can take “movie theater” as an example. Just because you are watching a particular movie scene does not mean next scene is not there, it is there we just can’t see it “yet”. Same way there are parallel movies being played with different stories and intent “assuming” none of it is connected to others, but once you get out of the movie theatre you see all parallels. This concept is fascinating and yet people 5000 yrs ago thought of it, how cool were they?

Ooooh I can't watch right now but I think I'm gonna love this! I don't know the original video. But there is stuff I've read in Hinduism, that is so different from what you see in other religions (especially Abrahamic ones) and so much more interesting. Like the idea that the universe will get destroyed at some point (by Shiva) then be recreated (by Brahma) is basically just like the Big Crunch theory. There's more but that's one example on top of my head.

The main difference between the concept of Heaven and Hell in Hindusim and of Abrahamic faiths (Christianity & Islam) is that, in Hinduism both Heaven and Hell are temporary places that the soul stays while it decides what their next birth is to work out their karma and finally merge with the supreme consciousness (via Liberation/Mukti/Samadhi) - which forms the ultimate goal. No one is condemned to hell or gifted Heaven forever. Those too have to be discarded to eventually merge with the supreme reality or atman. Our human birth should be to do good deeds, perform charity, meditate, pray ...all while doing our wordly duty like its devoted to God (ie. Without ego)

The sleep has its phases, one of which is a very deep one where most of the motor functioning part of brain is put to rest and only the neccessary parts of brain are active which controls the involuntary actions like heartbeat, breathing. So if by chance you woke up suddenly before your brain fully restarted, then u will feel the paralysis since their is a little lag for the brain to gain control fully again. It is said that when you die, based on your deeds (Karma) you either demoted or promoted to the other Lokas. Or probably just reborn here. We don't know if its scientifical, but it is theorized that when our astral forms (Soul) leave our body when we sleep. That's how we dream.

To be honest, I thought this is the basic level of the multiverse / hindu cosmology concept that everyone would know until now! I didn't realise that it's a difficult concept to understand. I was able to digest this concept (to an extent) easily because I come from an orthodox sree vaishnava family ( it's like one of the top ones in brahmana caste to put it vaguely ) and concepts such as 7 lokas, pathalam, daivalokam, devathas and rakshasas, through mythology, concepts of multiverse told through short stories were common occurrences, a part of daily life. I realised that the way we grow up, the knowledge we gain as we grow up will help a lot when we actually grow up. And I feel kinda proud to be able to know much more than what a lot of people know. And also grateful to my origins. This is so sudden and random to feel such feelings but it is I guess. Anyway, the more you learn the more you don't know how things work is what I believe.
Weird thing comes to my mind is that there is a vaccume in universe so everything flots and vaccume only can be created in closed box it means some one is behind the box. And the black hole is the place from where all the air being sucked out of the box.
While watching Netflix series Dark, many of the concepts sounded similar to in Hinduism. The three eras/worlds where they move is kinda similar to Hindu concept of Trilok(three worlds), then the 33 years gap (33 crore Devi devtas?), Characters die in one world are alive in other ( atma (soul) is eternal?)

The matter gets absorbed into a dark hole. That whole is called as the black whole. It sucks everything into it. Vedic books have information about everything.Everything we know today comes from ancient Hindu library called Vedas. Indian civilization was light years ahead of today's world. So an enlightened sage could experience and understand these and he would simplify it down. His juniors who are on same path and learning would then simplify his work. This went on till it reached common man. Knowledge was transferred from a teacher to student orally in a right way and without distortion.
Sometimes difficult concept they codefied into stories and symbols for common non scientific non spiritual people.
If you want to experience this search for lectures on Mandukya Upanishad from Swami SarvaPriyananda.. A book will 12 stanza is expand to 200 + stanza by another person and that is further expanded more.
And Upanishads are only commenteries/conclusion on the original sources vedas and they themselves are exapanded greatly.

Why is it not that popular now? In last 1000 years of invasion and colonialism, destruction of great universities, libraries, we have lost the sources and the teachers. There is one story where lord Brahma out of his arrogance kidnapped Lord Krishna's friends to test his power... After a long time when Brahma came to see why Krishna was not worried about his friends he saw that all of Krishna's friends were playing with him... It was then... lord Krishna revealed that they were him from other dimensions. He unraveled the multiverse before lord Brahma and made him realise the insignificance of his arrogance.
There are many stories which explains how lord Shiva can see the future... He is the Supreme one beyond space and time and can exist and destroy all creation among dimensions....

The closer a piece of music to the perfection of the sounds and rhythms of the universe the more it can Awaken in you. I've said a lot and i don't know if any of this makes sense, too much comes to mind when i talk about this topic too many examples and i can't really put into words but i hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. The movie externals take a lot of inspiration from Hindu cosmology they've obviously made it more literal in many ways but you can still understand a little bit from watching that.

I'm just saying that many scriptures in Hinduism are man-made (ofcourse all religions in the world are man-made but I won't like to argue on that currently) and man are prone to mistakes. I take pride that many of these men/women were great scholars and provided this world with great knowledge. Similarly many practices are/were unscientific/illogical/inhumane too. Many of them have been discarded with time like the Sati Practice. Now don't come and say Sati is not from Hinduism because most Hindus including Brahmans followed it. (and If the people follow of a religion follow something not written in the religion, this already shows the weakness of a religion and how easily it can be corrupted by few monsters). But it's great that it was reformed.
Hinduism has always been prone to Change and Reform! This is the best thing about it. All other old religions like of the Greeks, Romans, Vikings have been Extinct but Hinduism has managed to come this far only because of its ability to adapt, change and reform. We as a Hindu society were always free to debates and discussion but I don't find that same culture and freedom in the coming years... Our People have come to become more rigid/kattar. They just don't want to listen anything against the religion and will never allow to reform it. I wonder if the great reformers like Swami Vivekananda (who stood against Astrology, cow worship, etc.) was alive today, then the current religious kattars would have called him "Pakistani, Muslim Propaganda, Anti-Hindu, Anti-National, Desh Drohi, Sickular, Liberandu & what not".
The Concept of Kala or Time in Sanatana (Hindu) Science
Mentioned below are some important seeking of Sanatana (Hindu) science associated with time as an aspect of creation.
1. Sanatana perceives time as cyclical. We see this cyclical pattern in days, weeks, months, years, seasons and yugas or epochs. So from this perspective, time is a never-ending cyclical process, which is both repetitive and exhaustive. In a sense it is limited. In another it is eternal. Time exists when we are in a state of duality but disappears when we enter into the state of unity(with the universe) or samadhi.
2. Each time-cycle has three components. Each time cycle begins with creation, continues for certain duration of time and then dissolves into nothingness. After a brief respite, the cycle begins all over again. Each day is created in the early hours, continues throughout the day and then finally dissolves into darkness. We can see the same pattern in life also, as childhood, adulthood and old age.
3. The duration of each cycle of creation in human years. He divided the cosmic time into Kalpas, which is a day and night in the time and space of Brahma(Universe). It is considered to be equal to 8.64 billion years. 4.32 billion years are the day and night of Brahman. Each Kalpa is further divided into 1000 maha yugas. Each maha yuga is again divided into four yugas, namely krita yuga, treat yuga, dvapara yuga and kali yuga. Their duration varies. Krita yuga the first in the series has the longest duration of 1.728 million years and kali yuga, which is the last and the current, has a duration of only 432000 years.
4. The lifespan of Brahma is considered 100 Brahma years, which is known as Maha Kalpa or Parardha. It is equal to 311.04 trillion human years.
5. A day in the life of gods is equal to one year upon earth. It is divided into day and night. The day is known as uttarayana and the night as dakshinayana. They are equal to 180 days each.
6. In Hindu tradition there is another division of time called manvantara. A manavantara is the period during which the earth is ruled by a particular Manu, the father of man. The word 'man' comes from the Sanskrit word Manu. According to tradition, a new Manu manifests at the beginning of each manvantara to produce a new race of human beings. Each manvantara lasts for about 71 mahayugas or approximately 308 million years. In each manvantara along with Manu appear seven seers or rishis and one Indra. In all 14 Manus appear in each Kalpa over a period of 1000 mahayugas in succession. The current Manu is 7th in the line and is known as Vaivasvata Manu.
7. The current yuga or epoch is known as Kaliyuga. It is the last in the cycle of the current mahayuga or great epoch. Its calculated duration is 432000 years. Kaliyuga began with the passing away of Lord Krishna some 6000 or 7000 years ago, then probably we are in the early phase of Kaliyuga and have a long way to go.
8. Hindu Purunas contain several narrative accounts in which celestial events span over longer durations of time. They describe gods waging wars, or practicing meditation or making love for hundreds and thousands of years.
According to Sadhguru we are not in Kali Yuga but towards the end of Dwapara Yuga and his explanation makes a lot of sense especially considering what has been going on in the world.

Kali Yuga is material yuga. AI and Robots would become "Material Gods". Humanity will be supremely advanced like Gods and Goddesses, except the difference between Satya Yuga and Kali Yuga is that Kali Yuga Gods and Goddesses need material technology to support them, while Satya Yuga Gods and Goddesses will be born with such technology from the day they are out. There is a supreme difference between the two. Ultimately, end game is ONLY possible from Satya Yuga and never from Kali Yuga, as organic will defeat material in efficiency, sensitivity and processing abilities. In short, we can never make a fantastic machine like the human body. We know this, and yet try our best to create useless robots for our pleasures and comforts while Satya Yugans realized this and ensured they fine tuned their bodies and minds using Yoga and Metidation so that the children they created would be highly evolved and divine beings and not the ones of Kali Yuga, born out of pleasure and so, suffer diseases, disabilities, defects even at birth owing to too much BAD Karma in this yuga. 8 Billion human population, reproducing and multiplying like insects is a fine example showing the future fate of this species is extinction.

My simplified version of multi verse, we can take “movie theater” as an example. Just because you are watching a particular movie scene does not mean next scene is not there, it is there we just can’t see it “yet”. Same way there are parallel movies being played with different stories and intent “assuming” none of it is connected to others, but once you get out of the movie theatre you see all parallels. This concept is fascinating and yet people 5000 yrs ago thought of it, how cool were they?

But there is stuff I've read in Hinduism, that is so different from what you see in other religions (especially Abrahamic ones) and so much more interesting. The main difference between the concept of Heaven and Hell in Hindusim and of Abrahamic faiths (Christianity & Islam) is that, in Hinduism both Heaven and Hell are temporary places that the soul stays while it decides what their next birth is to work out their karma and finally merge with the supreme consciousness (via Liberation/Mukti/Samadhi) - which forms the ultimate goal. No one is condemned to hell or gifted Heaven forever. Those too have to be discarded to eventually merge with the supreme reality or atman. Our human birth should be to do good deeds, perform charity, meditate, pray ...all while doing our wordly duty like its devoted to God (ie. Without ego)

The sleep has its phases, one of which is a very deep one where most of the motor functioning part of brain is put to rest and only the neccessary parts of brain are active which controls the involuntary actions like heartbeat, breathing. So if by chance you woke up suddenly before your brain fully restarted, then u will feel the paralysis since their is a little lag for the brain to gain control fully again. Its supposed to be a very short time lag but may differ person to person.

Actually there is time dilation in the hindu texts as well. In the swargaloka,360 years equals one swargaloka day(hindus follow the lunar calendar traditionally,which has 360 days , not 365) .for brahma,in brahmaloka(satyaloka),360 million years equals just a moment for him.

To be honest, I thought this is the basic level of the multiverse / hindu cosmology concept that everyone would know until now! I didn't realise that it's a difficult concept to understand. I was able to digest this concept (to an extent) easily because I come from an orthodox sree vaishnava family ( it's like one of the top ones in brahmana caste to put it vaguely ) and concepts such as 7 lokas, pathalam, daivalokam, devathas and rakshasas, through mythology, concepts of multiverse told through short stories were common occurrences, a part of daily life. I realised that the way we grow up, the knowledge we gain as we grow up will help a lot when we actually grow up. And I feel kinda proud to be able to know much more than what a lot of people know. And also grateful to my origins. This is so sudden and random to feel such feelings but it is I guess. Anyway, the more you learn the more you don't know how things work is what I believe.

The three eras/worlds where they move is kinda similar to Hindu concept of Trilok(three worlds), then the 33 years gap (33 crore Devi devtas?), Characters die in one world are alive in other ( atma (soul) is eternal?)

Being a hindu myself still I wonder each time when a new Discovery is made by scientists Hindu sages or indians come up with stories that we have discovered it long time ago using the fact the 99% of us haven't read and won't read the manuscripts and books

Shiva and Vishnu are 1 and 1 for every universe, but Brahma are different (I didn't use the word Brahmas because by energy the source is one). It is believed the the creation of Vishnu and Brahma was done by Shiv and all of them are the same.
Sleep paralysis is very scary at times. It feels so real and sometimes I know that I'm asleep but it feels real and you can't even move or shout. I had no idea earlier what it was until I read about this.
Mostly it happens when I'm too tired or when I slept in the evening and then again slept at night.

The matter gets absorbed into a dark hole. That whole is called as the black whole. It sucks everything into it. But when it sucks the things loses all its dimensions to be a part of one point I.e the singularity. After that what happens to the dense energy and matter? I say the dot it gets passed to other side of the black hole and become the source of a new universe. Which means once a black becomes so dense that it can't absord anymore the dense matter it absorbed passes that particle aka god particle to the other dimension which then explodes and form a new universe. This means every black whole in a universe is source of a universe itself. So universe comes from the black hole and gets back into the black hole. So every universe die and gets regenerated in wave form.
