Hi! My name's Jesus from Mexico city. I just wanna tell you i really like your videos. You make 'em very funny and that's somethin' what i've learnt with. I'm really thankful to you for teaching and sharing all your knowledge. Yeah! That's it. Really enjoy your videos!
Thank you so much for this lesson Aly, it reminds me of my younger self. A few years ago, my teacher said to me: "Khadija, you are a sensible girl" and obviously my French mind understood it like "I am a sensitive girl" so I replied: "I'm not that sensible, I don't get emotional very often" and she said" "Oh dear, sensible means smart!!" It's nice to tell the funny stories that come along with learning languages. ^^
I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and I’ve learnt so much thanks to your videos. They’re so useful and informative. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to see your next videos :3
6:50 The two arrows on the right side of the drawing are pointing to what I would call "the shadow of the tree" projected onto the ground (2D), the space (3D) under the tree would be what I call "a shade".
Aly, you are the best teacher I have ever met and a person of course. Your sense of humor makes me laugh, even if I watch your videos over again. Thank you for an amazing style you teach as the way you combine drawing, grammar and humor are so so so unique and helpful! I would watch it endlessly!!!
Awww! Thank you so much Aly! Your lessons are always so very helpful! And I just adore your sence of humour! I am so happy that I've found your channel! I wish you the best of your luck with your channel and your job! From Russia with ❤ 🤗
thank to goodness I found your channel, learning English was never so fun and easy. I really appreciate what are you doing. I'm going to tell all my friends and english classmate to subscribe. I just fell in love with your donuts phrase. I'm one of those who think all you need is love & donuts.
Man, serious, I don't know if I praise your short class or your cartoons!! it's very very nice to see!! Carry on, man, I'm gonna follow you for very time!!
Now I know ...anyone wants to be a good teaher.. it's better if he can act and 🐉 draw .very easy to understand your lessons . Thanks for your effort . it's effective .
Aly, thank you so much for your videos. You really encourage me to work harder and practice my English every day. And I have two questions for you: 1) A few days or maybe one week ago you broadcasted a lesson via UA-cam and you asked everyone “tell me the topic, your questions and we will discuss it”, but there were no comments available below the streamed video, so I could not ask you a question. I found your profile on facebook, but I didn’t find out how to leave a comment during the stream:) 2) In one of your videos you explain the difference between posh / cockney / southern accents’ pronunciation where you recommend to copy and imitate the way of speaking, pronunciation, intonation, etc. of famous personalities from UK. So, the point is that I want to ask you to make a video or maybe a short course concerning this question. I mean that I would like to imitate you and sometimes I try to do this. But I think that it would be much better if you read a short story or an article, explaining different features (catenation, intonation, sentence emphasis, etc.). I try to read the text of the audiobook loudly when listening to the person who reads it and it is very helpful. But you are a very good teacher and your speech and pronunciation are just the purest example of how an Englishman should sound like. Really, I want to talk like you. Please, make one or a few videos about it, if it is acceptable for you. And, please, reply me. Sorry for writing to much and thank you for all your videos. I am sure that you have already helped a lot of people to improve their English. And do not disappear, please.
I love this one cause everybody says "borrow" instead of "lend" I don't know why. Well, at least people I know (and it's not a native English speaker like me or they're just kids) and sometimes they make me doubt, specially kids i knew cause all of them were native English speakers. And thanks a lot! Shade and shadow was also a big problem for me.
About sensible you’re completely right. By the way regarding false friends I have to struggle with “to become”, because speaking German every day I tend to say “I’ve become a letter”. “Bekommen” in german means “to get” but looks like “to become”
Your videos are educational+stress busters+enjoyable.A combo!!I love English soooooo much and your teaching is infinite times awesome !!!!(or square of infinity) I fell head over heels for your teaching(and for you too😁😂😂)Golden retrievers are amazing!!!!

Yes, I adore Papa and his lessons but here I felt stumbled and confused when I looked up these two words in a dictionary and found very similar explanations and examples. It's quite difficult to follow the difference( I think that it is just a case of collocations, isn't it?
