In the style of Disco Elysium: Electrochemistry: Sweet! This looks like it should be right up your alley. Buy it! Volition: Hold on there buddy. You currently have ongoing playthroughs of The Banner Saga 3, Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2, Pathfinder: Kingamker and Elden Ring. You have at least a half dozen other RPGs sitting untouched in your library. Not to mention the several RPGs you wanted to give a 2nd playthrough. The last thing you need right now is another RPG. Electrochemistry: But internet reviewer man recommended it. Volition: Yeah, he also recommended Outer Wilds, and you haven't touched that in months because you've been so busy with other games. Logic: Well, HowLongToBeat does say it can be finished in about 8 hours; it wouldn't be that big of a time investment... Volition: Don't you start on me now too. Remember how HowLongToBeat said that each of the Banner Sagas could be finished in about 15 hours. It took you 26 hours to finish the first one, longer for the 2nd, and you're over 30 hours into TBS3 and still haven't finished. Accept it, you're a slow gamer. There's no such thing as a "small time investment" for you. Electrochemistry: Look at that! Overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. Volition: *Sigh* Just put it on your wishlist. At least wait for a bloody sale. Volition [Challenging: Success]: And onto the wishlist it goes. Wishlist: You currently have 113 games on your wishlist. Don't worry; I'm sure you'll be able to find the time to play them all some day.
Sincere question: what's ”soy infused" supposed to tell me? It seems a bit like a specific catch all without ever giving a definition. Anybody care to provide one or elaborate?
My thoughts exactly, couldn't tell if that was intended as a pejorative against perceived progressive values or as a literal statement "all the food in this game has soy in it, hence soy infused."
Thank you for your enthusiasm and for leaving a comment, but I'm hardly a god of anything. Even in this channel I've said a truckload of inaccurate stuff or even stuff that just isn't so. I'm just some dude who uses his free time to shape his thoughts on games and share them on youtube in the hopes they'll start fun conversations. I hope you enjoy this review, though. (And the game if you decide to acquire it!)
Yes!! Colony Ship will ABSOLUTELY get a review when it comes out of Early Access... I can spoil a little bit... I think it's awesome. According to its roadmap it will be about this November. Cant wait!
It's incredible how your videos can generate a genuine interest in games I would otherwise not give a damn. Congratulations, you have a real gift. Btw, the Pink Floyd references gave some good giggles.
10:09 What do you mean as important as what to do with your life or as mundane as how to make money? Aren't they the same? And what is this overwhelming dread I am feeling all the sudden?

@@cameronmcleod8419 i belive it's the former as he says he feels that characters are being to naïve for the setting it's portraying.
@@megamike15 That makes a sort of sense, though it'd be a pretty shameful characterization to use.
This game is soy
Anti-capitalist? You mean like Disco: Elysium? HELL YEAH.
The Pink Floyd lyrics were very stylish. I will definitely add this to my must play list
Legend is back. God of rpg reviews.

Hey, have you heard of "The Age of Decadence" or "Colony Ship" by Iron Tower Studios?
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts about them..

I was beginning to get depressed because no one seemed to notice the Dark Side of the Moon bridges! Thanks for the comment!
I've been hearing a lot about this game recently, but now I can see why! Thanks for the great review my friend
Thanks to you for dropping by!

NICE!
I like your Ye Old Entertainment recommendation seal but take care IGN might steal it.
Haha. Thanks man, Don't think that's going to happen though.
👍
Ease up on spoilers and endings and what they mean and how they manifest. Way too much hinting.
