Beaver Hunting and Polar-Dip Retrieval

- The Backwoods Boys are out with their friend Daniel, hunting beavers from a newly-formed pond that is flooding forest and fields, and boy is it cold! The ice went off the pond less than a week ago, so retrieving a beaver means an extremely uncomfortable polar plunge! Make sure you have a cup of hot tea or coffee while watching; this one is chilly!

👍 good job !
Thanks! Unfortunately, we've had too much practice at this particular job! The cold gets old fast!
Totally understand the need to cull some of these beaver. The damage they do is just too much sometimes. Your retrieval was the best entertainment of the week guys!!
Yeah unfortunately beavers can do a lot of damage in a short time. We're glad you enjoyed it!
That beaver lodge is huge! Those beaver sure did a number on those trees too, I can't believe how many they had cut down. Nice job!
Major cold shrinkage their men
You got that right! haha. Thank goodness it's warmer now!
You guys always make me laugh good videos keep up the good job guys team effort.
Thanks for the encouragement! We really appreciate it!
I have a 4 prong hook made out of heavy wire and about 50 feet of light rope on it so if I shoot one like yous did you can toss the hook out and drag for it. The wire is light enough if you hook a log you can just straighten the hook out but strong enough when hook the beaver it will bring it in.
That's a great idea! We will have to rig one of those up for next time!
Better bring the fishing pole next time. Great entertainment!!!
A fishing pole would be a good option! And who knows, maybe we could snag a live beaver with it if we use the right bait! Jk Haha. We are glad to hear you enjoyed it! Normally I would say we enjoyed filming it, but this one was somewhat less enjoyable to film for some reason lol.
now id say dedicated hunter great job on retrieving the kill hats of to you guys well done thumbs up and shared at least it was no just left behind
Thanks! We hate leaving anything if there is any chance of retrieval, so we make sure to put in every effort to collect whatever we hunt or trap. Unfortunately, that means that this isn't the first time I've been wandering around in ice water, and it likely won't be the last! Oh well, good experiences to have in life haha. If more people waded around in freezing beaver ponds looking for beavers, the world would be a better (or at least more interesting) place!
