So ive had mine 2years now, mine exactly same as that but it didnt originally come with rubber back strap behind bag jaws, ive recently purchased that, its a game changer, it puts bag away from console, before clubs got in way of console, was hard to access drinks holder, now its great, im glad to see that's standard now, you can buy this as an upgrade, bag cradle for R series
Stick with that Ping hybrid Gaz I replaced a 19 degree Taylormade Rescue TP from 2009 with a Voodoo shaft at 90 grammes with a Ping G425 The Taylormade was my best friend. I didn't gel with the Ping G425 for over 4 months. I have it set at 18 degrees and 3 degrees flat. That's how I was fitted. I'm now so happy and comfortable and confident with it that I will lay back off the tee if I can hit it into a long par 4 rather than try smash driver. By that very virtue having this club in the bag has saved me strokes off the tee even though I'm not actually using it off the tee
Having watched the video I have bought one this week and they are currently £175 it is a fantastic cart so easy to use, lightweight and so easy to push or pull👍👍
I've just sold my Mottocaddy Cube trolley and bought a Golf Stream Express, incredibly light and well built, simple design and only 1 catch to open it up. Much better than the Mottocaddy (in my opinion) and just over half the price, I don't need it to golf up small, and it's perfect for my needs.
Just got fitted for ping i525. Also gone from steel to graphite shafts and could have thrown them away after first 3 rounds. Played yesterday and things were a little better, so perseverance is key.
I've had 2 push trolleys for years, one for the summer which is a sun mountain and light, and a clic gear for the winter. They are holding up really well and definitely is easier on the back.
I bought a SkyMax Cube a couple of years ago for £149, with a brolly holder and free carry bag. Great piece of kit, really sturdy, lightweight, and is compatible with the equivalent ClicGear hedgehog wheels too. Also compatible with ClicGear stuff generally for other things like second drinks holder, or a ball holder. Highly recommended. Like buying a top of the range Skoda instead of a Volkswagen. All the benefits of ClicGear, understated good looks, with a lower price. And despite all the inflation we've had, it's still at that £149 price point today!
I went with a bag boy push trolley the nitron to be specific. It's so good small when folded up but it's super easy to open and fold as you just open it up and it's done in one and it's great for all types of bags, I've had a mid size bag and now a ping hoofer bag on it and it's sits great on it. When I got fitted it took me probably about a month or so to get used to the clubs, So hang in there with it.
I went from a pull trolley to a 3 wheeler push. Best thing ever with a stiff back. Bought an electric trolley, but still go back to the 3 wheel push, as I feel in control of things. It’s 8+ yrs old now and starting to fail, so I may look at the Stewart going forward
Gaz, never thought of the wear an tear on your shirts, great idea. I went with a pushcart an added the motor with remote. Absolutely love walking around without pushing the cart now.
I know it's difficult Gaz, but be patient with the hybrid. I got fitted into the G425 LST driver early last year. It took 4 or 5 rounds to get used to it. I was hitting maybe 4 fairways and making friends with trees. Then everything just clicked. Now if I miss 4 fairways I'm not happy. Use it for a few more rounds Gaz. Trust in the fitter and the club. You can always resell it if you're still not happy.
Gaz had my R1S coming up to 3 years , because all the mechanism are gears and not cables like cheaper models it's still like new , buy the bag though , cheers Si
I have one of these but the previous generation. It is honestly the best push trolley I’ve had. HANDY TIP - look at their refurbished trolleys. Huge saving on RRP and just the same quality.
Gaz i use stewart x10 follow yes bit expensive but without any doubt best thing to do with golf i have ever bought !! Amazing trolley next best thing to a caddie !
I’ve just checked them out. With the organiser at the top, they’re the ultimate cart bag. I will only ever be honest with the subscribers though, I do tend to buy products that I can get a good deal on. Unlike alot of UA-camrs, I don’t get anything free, so everything I buy is through my personal choice and value for money.
Very nice looking trolley Gaz, I’m been using a trolley now for around 4 years basically to save my back because I slip 2 disc’s easily. Stick with the new hybrid mate, we all know what’s it like getting a new club and expecting to smash it perfectly every time
Great video Gary, Just got new G430 driver and 5 wood. Moved from stiff shaft to extra lite. The driver goes great, but for the life of me I can’t hit the 5 wood. As for the trolly, this has given me something to think about. My battery trolly is on its last legs I can’t afford to replace it, so I’ll have a think about it as I watch your on course reviews..
Great video as I am looking to get a new trolley, as of today (16/09/23) Stewart has a 20% sale off this trolley which is now priced at £175. so I pulled the trigger.
Gary should have give us a tour around trolley all the bits that go with it as standard and what you could buy for it. Patience is the answer, work at it. I have just got my new G430 ping clubs and hit the road running the opposite to you , cannot wait to go back out on course but need a gapping lesson
Just purchased one this week. Needed a backup for when my X10 Follow is in for service. Everything about this push cart is excellent - with one major exception. The rear wheel span is way too narrow. This cart has a serious tip-over factor on side hills. I would say, compared to the most popular push carts around my course, the Click Gear brand, the wheel span is at least 3 inches narrower. If that one design attribute were fixed, this cart would get 5 stars from me. As it is, however, I give it 3 stars.
I got one Gaz & it is rock solid. Only gripe is it doesn’t readily take a carry bag, but to be fair it is not really designed with that in mind . I’ll just have to splash the cash on a dedicated cart bag😢
@@garymartingolf they do an accessory for Cary bags, but it’s not ideal. I’ve found it’s better to prop the bag up from the bottom with some form of spacer?? maybe Sam will do you a deal on a cart bag🤣🤣

Gaz. Stewart have a shop on ebay selling their goods. They have rs-1 trolleys for sale. Totally refurbished. Different colours. 12 months warranty. As of now £120 delivered. Depends if want shiny new or save 100 quid.
Have you tried it with your bag on it with your clubs in ? As my brother in law had one and says opening the storage compartment was a pain also had a Stewart bag
It’s first time out will be tomorrow 🥶 That vlog will be a few weeks away though, I’ve got myself a few weeks in front with vlogging. I’ll report back.
I’ve not used it as much as I’d liked, and that’s because I’ve found vlogging easier when I’m carrying. I haven’t had any faults or issues with the trolley though. If I was being abit picky, I’d of liked the compartment to have a stronger closer. It’s a magnetic one, which isn’t the strongest.
Trolley looks good, I use the powakaddy ct6 and folds pretty much the same size as the Stewart but you can’t deny the quality of. Stewart. If you don’t get on with the 430 let me know, I’ll make an offer 😂
I did look at Powakaddy too. It it doesn’t start feeling right after a few more rounds, I’m going to have to switch out the shaft 😩 I can’t give up on it lol 😭
It looks really well made and folds down perfectly to save space. Bit concerned on there website the umbrella holder had a lot of negative reviews and in the description says shouldn’t be used whilst in motion and windy conditions which sounds strange especially with our weather 😂. Has anyone had these problems or issues using a umbrella??
@@garymartingolf yes please do because I’m really interested in getting one, this or the motocaddy cube which seems to of gone up in price so the Stewart looks better and isn’t that much more.
I have the earlier Z1, using for a number of years . Yes the only downside is the umbrella holder. But all push trolleys have the same problem , You are supporting an item at the end of a 'pole' fighting the wind resistance. When I need to replace the Z1, it will be another Stewart. Ps had a small problem with the brake, aftersales replaced it with no fuss.
