This is why people always say punctuation is so important. One is a statement about being black or gay... The second is a comparison of how none of the above are choices.
I understand why a lot of people may feel like SP7 content is seen as “boring,” but I think that the problem is that people don’t understand what Steve is trying to do with this character of himself he created. He’s amplified these personae of him and his friends to make himself the elitist of the group who exaggerates the attitude of one who thinks he is better than his friends. The story these series is trying to tell is of someone with this complex trying to learn to be a better but always forgetting in the moment and causing everyone in his life to push away from him. I think in the end Steve is trying to give this character a sense of reckoning-either he will learn when it becomes too late or learn before it is too late that he is the problem, not his friends. Great series, SP7. Truly genius, and I don’t know what method you use to write these episodes, but it works for me. Supported from the start and always will.
Michael Cook your reply looks as bitter as your profile picture. Why so negative? Besides, using a concept previously used does not mean “unoriginal” or “lack of genius.” It’s not in the content itself but how it impacts the reader or viewer.
I dont see any comments on how this video was structured,to me I can clearly tell something is coming up and it may be a turn in the story, or character development. Honestly, this video isn't much of a cliffhanger but makes me look forward to the next episode in anticipation. Suptic is constantly changing, I've been subbed to him since 100k, and the changes over the years have been awesome.
That's not the reason their views are going down, though. It's just normal for new channels to get a lot of hype at the beginning and then slowly settle down in views and subs. I'm sure they'd be getting as many views or less had they stuck with a comedy only format.
I love how cinematic all of it is. It feels like I’m watching an artsy movie, but it’s a alternative vlog on UA-cam. It blows my mind that this content is free! They put so much heart into it, and you can really feel it. I love you SP7 💚
Felt the drama in this one was handled really well, easy to understand the motivations and conflict while also maintaining the comedy and not getting too serious out of nowhere
loved that ending, much more cinematic, also i surprisingly enjoyed getting to know uk james on the podcast before seeing him in the video, it made it easier to grab onto his character and made him seem more "in the world"
Every time the cinematography changes I know some real shit is about to go down and my stomach drops. This channel is honestly one of, in my opinion, best shows of its kind. No one out there is really doing anything similar.
This ep was done exceptionally well. The James/Cib banter, Cib’s fall, the whole bar exchange... great work. God, the puppies I’d sacrifice to be doing this.
yo in case anyone was wondering, Nick actually IS in a band called The Wrecks and they’re super good!! Y’all should go check out their song Favorite Liar and become a fan. They’re dropping a new EP on February 16!
grew up watching the inbetweeners in the uk and this is amazing. You boys are doing some great stuff and this really brought me back. Thanks for the great episode!
HOLY SHIT NICK FROM THE WRECKS. I met him when he played a show in Milwaukee and he was the nicest dude and now he's on my favorite UA-cam channel! SCORE ONE FOR SUGAR PINE AND THE WRECKS
I think this channel has a great format for guest personalities. I'm always interested in what character someone will put on. Generally there is resistance if you add new people to a group but in this sense it brings out much more opportunities and dynamics without the core three being overused
Wow that is the famous James Buckley from the famous , critically acclaimed inbetweeners 2 (2014). I feel so 3honored to see such a famous James Buckley.
It feels like your hearts aren't in this anymore and that's okay- you're creatives... don't do anything you're not totally into and passionate about! Honestly I just think that it became more difficult when you delved deeper into the pre planned scripted character stuff. The woods was great because it didn't mess with continuity and let you do the stuff you want to do later (write/direct). But it's making Sugar Pine 7 feel like an entry in your CV. The first season was great because it was so unique and we felt close to you all. The vlog style felt personal and casual. The later seasons just don't have that sense of improv or closeness. At the end of the day we just want to see you having fun! Silly improv... adventures outside the office... breaking character etc
I feel like Sugar Pine 7 would be better off going back to the improv/quirky attitude they used to have about this show. They obviously are trying to create some story add great cinematography and thats cool, but i feel like what made sp7 so great was that it felt like a "mocku-vlog". It doesn't need high end film making or a gripping plot. I miss the light hearted vibes i used to get from this show, and the great episodes like the band practice, and ghost hunting. Those were some of the greatest things i've seen on this show. And now it feels like they're abandoning that formula and it makes me sad cause i really love this show.
Mason Chappell they want to make something their proud of. When they look back in twenty years I would think they would much have rather documented something known for its unique plot, beautiful cinematography and a sense of comedy all equal or better than high level production, rather than a bunch of videos of them just dicking around.
Jack Lyall But the plot isn't unique, and the comedy is few and far between. I still like the show don't get me wrong. It's just not as good as it used to be.
I mean you can still look back on the improv episodes but with that style they'd run creatively dry after a certain amount of time. Although the structure and the development to the plot might not be to your liking right now they are constantly changing and developing the story maybe it'll turn into something you enjoy as much or more than the original rough style. I'm just happy that they are creating something that they enjoy and I'll support them as they go on, and hopefully you'll get those goofy rough storylines as they resolve the more serious ones 🙌
Emo James is frightening. Make the bad man go away.
mdr48371 SOOO CUTE
emo james is cute af wtf
mdr48371
I wanted him to spontaneously break into a Spiderman 3 jazz dance so bad... 😧
mdr48371 that was funny as hell hahahahahaha
mdr48371 why do all emo hair style make guys look 16??
Oh shit never thought I'd see James Buckley on this. I'm from England and grew up watching him in the Inbetweeners. Strange to see him here, but nice.
You're about to see him on a whole lot more R.T stuff soon!
Looking forward to it!
Why did I read your comment in a british accent wtf.
He was in an Achievement Hunter GTA Let’s Play in the FunHaus office. They talk a bit there.
Most likely because I mentioned I'm English? XD
“Being emo isn’t a choice like being black or gay”
Jared Grillo or being the president
Rome Janairo I was my HS Senior Class President. But also that’s not really an accomplishment
This is why people always say punctuation is so important. One is a statement about being black or gay... The second is a comparison of how none of the above are choices.
Time stamp cus I missed it
Goddamit where have I heard that before I can't put my finger on it
man i love “good joke two joke good joke” james
That's James Buckley, what a ledge!
tom c What’s he in
Right fucking legend he is!
George Fergus the inbetweeners (uk)
Yeah. its still odd he works with Roosterteeth now
FiftyShadesOfCaucasian that’s what I thought but I wasn’t quite sure now that he has an beard and darker hair
sometimes i wonder if these videos are emotional vents sprinkled in for Steves sake
This makes way too much sense.
James looks like Emo Peter Parker from Spider-Man 3
Jonathan Juan spot on mate
Wow very spot on
come over here my little lego man
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!
Holy fuck is that Jay from the inbetweeners.
Mantis Toboggan sure looks like him
Yessss it must be
@Mantis Toboggan
Yeah, he's their new Danny DeVito. Do you know who that is?
Yes, James Buckley

Brian Wyatt Genius... right, because the eccentric boss/straight man, with whacky employees, has never been done before.
Michael Cook your reply looks as bitter as your profile picture. Why so negative? Besides, using a concept previously used does not mean “unoriginal” or “lack of genius.” It’s not in the content itself but how it impacts the reader or viewer.
Brian Wyatt yes it's true, ignorance make a me bitter. Now get back to gushing over the brilliance of an old tv trope.
It’s The Office but improv with millennials, and shockingly well executed The Office but improv with millennials.
Brian Wyatt r/iamverysmart
I dont see any comments on how this video was structured,to me I can clearly tell something is coming up and it may be a turn in the story, or character development. Honestly, this video isn't much of a cliffhanger but makes me look forward to the next episode in anticipation.
Suptic is constantly changing, I've been subbed to him since 100k, and the changes over the years have been awesome.
I guess that's why they call him "Good Joke Two Joke Good Joke James"
1:57 I love moments like this where improv leads to real laughter
sometimes i feel bad for Autumn
She hasn't spoken a word so far this year. She should be the piss off one, not James
Don’t feel bad for Aut’is’umn
AmvUnity saw your vids why did you stop?
As soon as someone points out that videos featuring Steve losing his job get the most views, they use this title.
Well done boys
It’s Steven “nice guy” Suptic
Copy other channels, but be original... Sugar IGN 7?
ding ding ding
Robles!
ArtBear88 Hi!
Emotionally Cucked Aleks Aw the meme accounts, missed you too

yennycalla - emo cib is kinda hot with the beanie tho
Is James trying to hide his circus eyes with his hair?
E the answer is always yes
*them circus eyes
And/or
*they circus eyes
Oval Teen Would I be correct in assuming you’re referring to the difference between eyes that are circusing and eyes that have been circused?
Grant Lauzon actually I'm simply presenting the difference between the zonal pronunciation in the US and UK
Oval Teen Interesting.
excuse me why isn't autumn in videos anymoreeee
Brielle Beadle she doesn’t want to be on it as much
She and Bruce are too busy making out behind the dumpsters. And taunting raccoons. At the same time.
I'm eagerly waiting for the next car review by Cib Camaro.
I really love where this channel is heading.
Telic no
im happy they are succeeding
I really never have a clue what they are doing or where it is going, and that is what makes it magic!
Telic their views have went down considerably from when they focused primarily on comedy
That's not the reason their views are going down, though. It's just normal for new channels to get a lot of hype at the beginning and then slowly settle down in views and subs. I'm sure they'd be getting as many views or less had they stuck with a comedy only format.
Why did you let James have a hair straightener? Stop him before he starts screaming at g-notes.
He's affected Cib too!
I love how cinematic all of it is. It feels like I’m watching an artsy movie, but it’s a alternative vlog on UA-cam. It blows my mind that this content is free! They put so much heart into it, and you can really feel it.
I love you SP7 💚
Love the cinematic portions of the videos. Very well shot lol keep up the amazing work you guys are doing
Wait holy shit, Nick from The Wrecks? Dude that's awesome
The guy from the inbetweeners and that one episode of skins right?
Was looking for a comment about this!! I'm so glad he's friends with Suptic
I saw them open for All Time Low last year, they were awesome!
Myotic Tesseract Saw them open for New Politics last night, he had such great stage presence.
Is that famous actor James.. Buckley?
holy shit i remember listening to the wrecks and thinking you looked like him steve
“Good Joke Two Joke Good Joke James” - Steven Suptic, 2018
omg the way Steve reacted to actual advice as rude at first and then genuinely afterwards was too real
an 11 minute video, damn papa steben is really treating us today
00:30 That was the best description of metalcore I've ever seen.
"Bus Wankers!!!"
stuff86 youre not my fucking friend
OMG I LOVE THE WRECKS AND THEY'RE SO SMALL WHAT ARE THE CHANCES HE SHOWS UP ON HERE OMG. NEW EP IS AWSOME CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!!
The Wrecks is one of my favourite bands. I'm sad I didn't get to see them here in Atlanta
The color grading they use for their cinematic scenes is always legit, props to the editor(s)!
I really loved this episode! We had the great bits in the beginning and the beautiful shots at the end :D
You’re too far in now Steven. There’s no backing out.
The lack of Autumn in recent videos is...kinda worrying...
9:30 Story of my life, I forgot about this song. Good times, thank you for that.
Felt the drama in this one was handled really well, easy to understand the motivations and conflict while also maintaining the comedy and not getting too serious out of nowhere
I want to see James do a Ben 10 parody
loved that ending, much more cinematic, also i surprisingly enjoyed getting to know uk james on the podcast before seeing him in the video, it made it easier to grab onto his character and made him seem more "in the world"
Every time the cinematography changes I know some real shit is about to go down and my stomach drops. This channel is honestly one of, in my opinion, best shows of its kind. No one out there is really doing anything similar.

I personally don’t find the content stale but meh I don’t feel like fighting it
This is actual the funniest video I've seen you guys make, thanks for the smiles and laughs. Yeah I know, I'm cringe lol.
Thesd videos always scare me, I don't want SP7 to end
Alexander Coulson The plot is scripted, so it won’t
@@terryversaw6286 oh honey
Doctor xG I WAS SO FOOLISH A YEAR AGO
@@terryversaw6286 we were all so naive
Love the Sephiroth theme while zooming in on piss. Who would have thought it would work so well?
How did they get James Buckley what the hell
Dylan Napier because he's friends with RT
They got Famous Actor James Allen McCune, how did they NOT get Buckley earlier?!
He's also part of the Lets Play Family
Tanuj Sistla I know where do these top rate actors keep coming from
ThatBritGamer The more you know.
the wricks
austinegy must be crazy
"that's why i like hanging out with james and cib, they're the only ones that understand me"
yo in case anyone was wondering, Nick actually IS in a band called The Wrecks and they’re super good!! Y’all should go check out their song Favorite Liar and become a fan. They’re dropping a new EP on February 16!
2:33 made me almost spit out my milk lmao
Wait what the sign is back to normal? Who fixed it this time?
God. Yes, he's cannon, in the anime and the manga
Even in the life-action adaptation?
Steve did in Adobe After Effects
The sign is never actually vandalized you can see its blatantly obvious after effects.
grew up watching the inbetweeners in the uk and this is amazing. You boys are doing some great stuff and this really brought me back. Thanks for the great episode!
videos have kind of been hit or miss for me lately but this one is good, really digging the really left field shit
Classic Septic with the click bait title
Alec Price well, he already blew the James Buckley clickbait on the podcast so he had to do something
yalls "serious" videos have a certain vibe to them that's so unique.
a lot of these shots were so nice too. great job guys yall are prty dng cuul.
James Buckley addition makes me goosebumps like crazy!
HOLY SHIT NICK FROM THE WRECKS. I met him when he played a show in Milwaukee and he was the nicest dude and now he's on my favorite UA-cam channel! SCORE ONE FOR SUGAR PINE AND THE WRECKS

everything about this was awesome. you guys are only getting better at writing and cinematography!!!!
NICK ANDERSON IS FINALLY IN A VIDEO I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE THE INSTA POST
Foreshadowing...
I have no idea what’s going on anymore, and I love it
as a British™ living near Derby, the struggle on James' face at 9:05 was too real
was that *the* James Buckley from the famous movie The Inbetweenders 2??? wow i feel 3honored
Wow that is the famous James Buckley from the famous , critically acclaimed inbetweeners 2 (2014). I feel so 3honored to see such a famous James Buckley.
it’s not just a phase, mom.
Chicken boy bamboozles me yet again!
“They’re such idiots- Steve looks like a fucking Sphinx” that killed me
At 6:01 Autumn does not like her job. :P (Look at subtitles)
Holy shit I've seen the wrecks three times and I've always joked saying it was the Steven suptic band it's so cool that he is in a video
JAMES BUCKLEY WAS FOR REAL WHHHAATTYY
This is the funniest episode that has come out in a long time
5:58 A few subtitle glitches that made me completely forget what Stevie boi was talking about.
I always enjoy Steven’s choice of music when he makes videos. Rich Girl by Hall & Oates, another great pick.
I was waiting for Nick from The Wrecks to meet Steve.
5:58 Was this done on purpose? Or was it just a editing mistake (The subtitles)
It feels like your hearts aren't in this anymore and that's okay- you're creatives... don't do anything you're not totally into and passionate about!

The fact that Nick Anderson is friends with them makes me way too happy than it should
“Stephen looks like a sphinx” 😂
Holy shit so much happened in this episode. James Buckley and so much piss. Two things I didn’t realise I’d like in Sugar Pine 7
8:53 alright so new theory, SP7 is lowkey into JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, I’m adamant about this.
Yo!!! You finally did it! You got Nick from The Wrecks .... This is perfect!
James Buckley is a pure and utter legend!
❤️
JAMES BUCKLEY IN SUGAR PINE 7 WHAT
Every episode feels more and more professional 👍🏻
The Wrecks! Oh my god I saw them in concert. They’re so good.
Just a Couple Friends (Emo Remix)
The fucking near slip killed me. U know what dying laughing is like now
I LOVE THE WRECKS!! OMG I KNEW THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN
I just want an episode of SP7 as a classic MLG Hwnt Minecraft animation
This is one of the best SP7 vids in a while
I love that they include Sephiroth's theme in their videos
What song is playing at 10:50 in the bar background?
"The Wrecks" is actually a band, and that guy is in it.
Thank you Sugar Pine Seven for clearing up petting. Honestly I was also curious.
ALFREDO!!! He's my favourite!
Pass.
Unfortunately it was james doing Alfredo
We all know Steven is the only one that's goood at doing Alfredo
Also whoever that red haired dude was

They're doing different things because they're proud and it'll aslo provide them a larger portfolio for their futures.
Yeah the old SP7 was what made me sub in the first place...not this this is bad or anything but yeah
I mean you can still look back on the improv episodes but with that style they'd run creatively dry after a certain amount of time. Although the structure and the development to the plot might not be to your liking right now they are constantly changing and developing the story maybe it'll turn into something you enjoy as much or more than the original rough style. THAT WAS A MASTER PEICE, HOW THE COMEDY CAME RIGHT AS THEY REVEAL FOR SURE ITS MOSTLY BIT. LOL
