This video will show you the do and don’t in aftercare of dogs with cropped ears.
Ear cropping is illegal in the UK and all dogs are from countries that allow cropping.
This video is not a debate on cropping it’s a video to show people with cropped dogs how to look after them properly any negative comments will be removed and you banned from our channel no exceptions
My Doberman puppy is an absolutely cry baby it’s been pretty thought trying to take care of him… I regret doing it but obviously it’s done already so I am trying hard to keep him ok
I’m having the same issue with my Doberman she’s 8 months now. What tape are you using ? She always tends to shake the white tape off easily. Also how did you get the wooden stick to stick to the ears ? I ordered the custom ear brace I found online so I’ll be doing this treatment for her ears to see if We get lucky to correct the ear. Hopefully it’s not too late. -Thank you

Good job mate ! How long do you do you keep the tape on them ? My dobie already had the surgery do about a month everything looks great , we usually wrap it every 4 days , we leave it for 3 days and a day off
Hi it really depends on the ears as every crop is different but usually around 5 days at a time provided the ear inside can be kept clean then off for a day to check and then redo with clean tape/rods etc
@@k9trainingservices There is something Called (Permastay) which the International Vets can use for these problems. It is a Ear Implant hidden in the skin.
my 4 month old doberman ears got taped and how do i prevent his ears from getting infected? no matter what i do.. i try cleaning where i can reach but it always seems he is very sad with it on and alot of gunk build up where the tape is.. what can i do to help this? or do he have to go through the process till i can clean it only when its off? help please

Tea tree oil works great to take off tape
Also use paper surgical tape. It’s really breathable. Perfect tape for dormers. Also doesn’t pull off the hair

Bad cut wise or posting wise if posting you can do it a home after researching what's best for you and your pup,If it's not right cut wise you can take your pup to another vet and get it fixed it's just expensive. Ik the question is to the channel not me but sorry you didn't get a faster answer

Please don't crop your dogs ears. There is a reason why it's illegal. Making your dog go through intensive surgery for cosmetic purposes is animal cruelty.

Right and if ear cropping is bad so is spay/neutering your literally removing the animals sex organs you know how many problems that can cause if you do that at a young age and they don't mature properly?? Yea ear cropping isn't that bad compared to spay/neutering and that's how the original breeder wanted them if someone wants to do this it's there animal and there choice if you don't like it well go get your own pet and don't do it that simple.
