Dr Osborne, I stopped eating Gluten as you suggested on one of your live shows. I have suffered with Lichen Sclerosis for 16 years and the difference in just two weeks is tremendous. Val

@@annettecaitlyn1058 Lichen sclerosis is a condition that causes patchy, discolored, thin skin. It usually affects the genital and anal areas. The itching and pain never ends the skin fusses together and intimacy so pretty much out the window. I had never heard of it until it destroyed my life.

The information regards the importance of Zinc in the context of SOD was positively enlightening. My detox & general clearance pathways are subject to various down regulating SNPs plus a couple problematic SOD genes in the mix so I’ll give getting sufficient Zn a finer focus

I smoked for 45 years. I drank during that time also but not heavily. I also was around asbestos for years in the Navy, and in shipyards and other industrial areas. No cancer, no mesothelioma. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. Quit smoking and drinking 15 years ago. Lost a bunch of weight, feel great, 71 years old.

My brother in law died of Alzheimer at 58. My mate is his brother an identical twin. He has not tested in any way for the disease and it has been eight yrs since his twin died. We somewhat suspect a factory he worked at, a metal shop, where many toxic metals were inhaled. I am no doctor but it seems some work environments may be much more toxic that people are aware.

I have asked my NP several times to check my vitamin and mineral and she tells me I don't need it, she only watches my iron, vitamin d and cholesterol levels, can I tell her its important and she needs to give me a order to check it, without being disrespectful?

I heard in one of my circles that the brain needs cholesterol. So if alcohol causes damage to the liver (same with non alcoholic fatty liver or someone on statins) wouldnt it make sense we need to take better care of our livers? Who came up with the cholesterol number? What if they are wrong and our bodies are doing what they are supposed to as they age to protect the brain? Given the right diet, of course. No HFCS. Alcohol is high in sugar. All the digestive organs work together. When one is stressed or failing, it impacts the others. Pancreas, gall bladder, liver, spleen, kidney.
Edit: i recently learned our livers make most of the body's cholesterol. And what organ gets damaged or impaired from statins? The liver.

My friend's sister was just diagnosed with lung cancer and feels like there's nothing she can do to reverse it. I believe it's not too late but I'm not entirely sure what to tell her. What advice would you give her?

Hi Dr Osborne, very grateful for your knowledge and videos. Do you take New Zealand patients via zoom sessions at your clinic?

How much total fat do you recommend per day for someone with apoe4? I’m 61 and have coronary artery disease and a high CAC score.
