Good question man! Plenty of people I met were working remote jobs while training so entirely possible. I’d get an online income first though as expecting to find a job when you get there is pretty unrealistic, Thai wages are low and long hours and for most of the jobs you’d need to speak their language. Definitely not impossible but less than ideal.
Hey, so I'm going out there later this year and was wondering how you fit in weight training. I'm a strength lifter as well as a fighter, and whilst I'm aware I wont be gaining any strength whilst there due to the intense lifestyle, I was wondering how and when and where you kept up weight training whilst there? I know it will be even more strenuous on my body, but Its something other than fighting I'm just as dedicated too. Also, you got a sick physique on you, well done mate!
Hey bro, I still did a bit of strength & conditioning training on top of all the Muay Thai sessions, there’s plenty of gyms, highly recommend checking out wild wood & xantiva as they were the two nicest gyms I went to with recovery facilities as well, highly highly highly recommend hahah. Thank you bro, just a bi-product of my extremely active, appreciate it & enjoy your time out in paradise!!
One of the close friends I made was a 50 year old gentleman named Stevie who had had a stroke and lost a lot of mobility in half his body and he was out there crushing it, you should definitely go!
Need a quality base before going to Thailand to do it. You are far too novice to have invested in Thailand training. No offense, being objective about your skill level is essential.
None taken man but I disagree because reasons for going are all subjective. Personally just wanted to get better at Muay Thai, healthier, & fitter while on an adventure. Also depends on the gym you’re training at for sure. I say throw your self in the deep end & go from my personal experience!!
you only need a good base in your cardio and conditioning not in your muay thai. Makes no difference if you kick start your muay thai journey by going there or going there when youve already been training for some time. You´ll make good progress regardless and for most gyms its not like they teach some secret advanced techniques you can only learn in thailand so that you would have to be advanced to get the most out of it. Only applies if youre doing it for the experience of course, if youre doing it as an "investment" that you want to earn back through muay thai youre probably right
Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience!

How realistic is it to earn many whilst out there training?

You can book when you get there but if you’re going to my during peak tourist season I’d highly recommend booking, you can do it all online!!

How was it to live in the hut without AC? Trouble sleeping?
Good question! For the first few nights I did but after that no troubles, the body and mind are remarkably adaptable
Background music is abit too loud and affecting quality but great vid nonetheless
Appreciate the feedback man! Been working on improving audio levels in my more recent videos so hopefully it’s improved a bit!!

Chinnarach Muay Thai
What is the age range there? I am 38 but would love to go

Nah, a few people at the camp did though. Tough to heal up in those conditions as well.
